Born and raised in this area and this has always been our family favorite no matter how far away any of us have moved! 🙏🏻🥰 The new locals post COVID may have made the neighborhood uncomfortable again but it's not as bad as it used to be when I was a kid anyway and either way, their service and food remains fresh and of a high standard quality regardless of when other customers are ungrateful or rude. They have every single one of our family favorites for everyone, and we have a very large mix

Modest Chinese restaurant delivering classic dishes to locals for eat-in or take-out.
Takeout lunch special. A simple meal chicken wings with pork fried rice. The pork fried rice taste like it had some type of aftertaste like chemical or something the rice also taste stale just sitting there in the pot from the day before it was clumpy and the chicken wings itself was very salty, which means they did not change the oil recently.

The worst restaurant in New York City. The food is so bad. I ordered beef but got pork belly soup. The food preparation area is very dirty. The cashier is also very rude. No wonder there was no one there when we went in. Anyone who has been here once will never go back.

Sad to see the 1 star reviews. This place is amazing. Cute shop. Simple but great working system. They have a lot of soda beverage options, As well as a bunch of exotic imported drinks. Bunch of sushi roll options. Did I mention the price?!? Amazing deals for 6pc and 12pc rolls.

I guess this place is very busy or maybe I came during a lunch time rush. But I didn't appreciate having to wait 20 minutes for a simple smoothie. Not even sure what was in the smoothie because I didn't see the description on the kiosk. They seem to get a lot of food delivery orders. Maybe consider having more than one person working at the counter? I had an appointment to get to. I thought I could kill some time there. The dine in ended up being a take out

I ordered takeout and got garlic eggplant, sesame chicken, and beef chow fun. The garlic eggplant was pretty good, but the rest of the food was very plain. The chicken really needed more sauce and spices—it just lacked flavor. I’ve had a lot of Chinese food around NYC, and these are basic dishes, but I expected a bit more effort in taste. Also, the service was a bit off. The lady at the counter seemed a little rude, and there was confusion about whether I had paid—even though I already did. Not

Best Chinese BBQ Skewer in Flushing! The price is fairly cheap compared to the other places I’ve been to in Manhattan or Brooklyn. I see a lot of people give bad reviews because they food was cold or it took too long. This is a BBQ Skewer restaurant, you’re suppose to eat it fresh and NOT get it to go. It’s like ordering Ice cream for delivery and complaining that it’s melted by the time it gets delivered. You’re suppose to eat it on the spot to get the full experience. I do have to agree though

This is an awesome cozy spot in bayside! Very delicious desserts and great atmosphere. Our server was amazing and attentive. Weekends are extremely crowded and may require a little bit of wait time but on weekdays you can definitely get a table upon walk in. The only critique I have of this restaurant is the proportion sizes are just a tad bit on the smaller side for the price. Other than that this a great place to take friends and family for a sweet night out!

I had a choice between General Tso’s sweet chicken and beef with broccoli and rice; I ultimately opted for the beef with broccoli. The sauce was rich, and there was a generous amount of both meat and vegetables; I particularly enjoyed the subtle hint of garlic in the sauce—it was a very nice touch. The rice was cooked perfectly—each grain was distinct and not overcooked. I highly recommend ordering this dish—bon appétit!

Horrible. Took an extra 40 mins to deliver from what they said, I’m literally a 3 min drive away. On top of that, food was cold ! And I even gave a $6 tip on a $14 dollar order. Never again though

I'll definitely come back again when I am in this part of town. The service was super quick. The 2 employees are just there to work and get you in and out. Only about 3-4 people can fit inside the restaurant to order. There are 2 wooden tables outside of the restaurant where you can eat. The food is definitely authentic Chinese food. I thought that this place was a bakery because of its name, but no it's not. There is buffet style food where you can pick out what you want. You pick 3 items over

Yeh’s Bao in downtown Manhattan is one of my favorite Chinese food spots in NYC. Everything here tastes homemade and made with real attention to detail. Watch their chefs hand make some of the best soup dumplings right in front of you. Seeing them stretch those paper-thin skins and seal up perfectly juicy fillings is part of the amazing experience. They have an excellent variety of different dishes that suits everyone’s taste buds. Vibe is casual and welcoming with excellent service. If you’re i

HOW have I not given Shanghai a review yet?! This is hands DOWN the best cheap Chinese food I’ve eaten in NYC! Amazing flavor across each dish I’ve tried, but the chicken with mixed vegetables is my favorite. Always fresh vegetables, tasty brown sauce, and the hot and sour soup is always fresh and flavorful! The workers are so polite and friendly and the prices are incredible for Manhattan. I’ve been going here for over five years and will keep coming back!

Delicious, satisfying, amd reasonably priced. Wish I was able to share the exact names of the dishes I had, but I would be giving false information. One was grilled fish, and the other was a boneless fish. They give you rice on the side so be sure to come hungry.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The rice was horrible, gummy, and no flavor. The shrimp in the lo mein was undercooked. The chicken……. Don’t get me started, they fried the babies because they were SO SMALL!!!!!!! The sweet and sour sauce was jello with NO FLAVOR!!!!! I decided to give this restaurant a try because it had 4.2 stars and I highly REGRET IT!!! $60 in the trash. This was dinner for my family and it was horrible. 0 STARS and I will never be going there again.

Located in a small food court (38th Street food court). Serves excellent rice rolls. We order 4 different rice rolls (Shrimp, BBQ pork, Briased Brisket, Pork). They were all very tasty. Hong Kong Noodle & Sariku Sushi was an unplanned but very welcome stop on our way back to Midtown. We tried a variety of dishes— I had the hot and sour soup, one person had the ramen noodles, and another had the orange chicken. The hot and sour soup was delicious, the ramen came in a huge portion that was perfect for taking to go, and the orange chicken was reportedly the best they’ve ever had. The staff was very kind, attentive, and efficient, and all the food came out in generous portions. Ov

Stumbled upon a surprising hit. Beautiful venue, with a very nice ambience. Food and service was great. Particularly enjoyed the scallop crudo and the cocktail (it's strong but good! Cilantro and dill flavor profile, very unique). Got the pistachio crusted lamb chops, which came with fried eggplant over salad which paired surprisingly well, esp for someone who doesn't usually enjoy eggplant. Ended the meal with the osmanthus yuzu cheesecake which was perfect. Would definitely come back!

Surprisingly delicious dumplings, and even surprising that they have a good amount of options for vegetarians! Sunday walk-in got us a decent window seating and noise levels were on the lower end. Our order consisted of Canton Wonton Soup, Shanghai Soup Dumpling, Four Colorful Soup Dumpling, Truffle Vegetable Shumai, and Lotus Leaf Rice w. Vegetarian Chicken (2 pieces). With the exeption of the Lotus Leaf dumpling, everything was perfect. Food was packed with flavor! Menu is very well priced,

Great spicy dry pot. Got a whole bunch of different options added to my pot, ranging from around 4-5 dollars each. Quite reasonable prices. Rice is included. When I was first seated, the waitress brought over a plate of peanuts. Great little snack before ordering. I would say that if you can't handle too much spice, definitely aim for a lower spice level. I chose the hot spicy level and it made me sweat. I consider myself a spice lover so take that as you may. This establishment is cash only, so

Co workers and myself frequently come to this location when we’re working around the Verrazano Bridge. Food is nonetheless outstandingly good, especially their Shrimp with Broccoli and house special fried rice to mixed into the sauce. Chicken Wings have a nice crisp which I like most. Staff already knows us so its a mutual thing when it comes to customer service. Best Chinese food in SI so far (my opinion).

Hi all! I give Good Taste Chinese Restaurant 5 Stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟! It was my first time buying from here and the food was fresh and delicious. The lady who took my order was professional, spoke English well and had great customer service skills. I’ll add a picture below of my amazing tasty food that I and my family enjoyed tonight for dinner. I was followed into this restaurant by a creep & as I kept telling him I was not interested, to leave me alone & that he was making me uncomfortable- the employee just stood there on his phone. The man was not a customer & even tried putting his hands on me as I’m basically climbing up the counter, trying to distance myself as much as possible. I just started getting food from here and I’m very impressed. Both times I got chicken with baby shrimp and it was excellent. The chicken and shrimp are both fresh and real. Unlike other Chinese takeout where the chicken is like rubber. It looks and tastes like chicken. Nice big pieces too. The egg drop soup is one of the best I’ve had. I’m very picky on quality and freshness so I feel I can vouch for them. No stomach aches either! 👏

The food is great, a good mix of authentic Sichuan cuisine dishes and many familiar Chinese dishes. There's a good mix of spicy and non-spicy food. The taste is really good, especially the fish dishes. The service was nice. I also really like the location, it's not far from the Met.

Back at YingTao for the third time. The first two visits, we tried the 7-course tasting menu, which was a great value. This time, we ordered a few à la carte dishes at the bar. Both had great flavor with Chinese-inspired touches. Nice music and atmosphere — good for a casual bar seat or a group dinner. The drink menu is interesting too, with plenty of cocktails, small-producer wines, and some higher-end bottles.

Loved this little spot! Very clean, pleasant dining area with friendly, welcoming staff. Food is well prepared and presented. They appear to have a strong Asian clientele, some of whom were ordering from the menu in what I imagine was Sichuan. Absolutely loved the fried dumplings…thin crust, flavorful interior and perfectly fried to a light crisp! Dan Dan noodles are tasty too! Looking forward to a return.

As vegetarians, we were a bit nervous about dining at a place with "Beef Noodles" in its name, but the helpful waitstaff steered us towards their veg dishes, which didn't disappoint. We had Tinfoil Enoki Mushrooms, Tinfoil Tofu, Sour Cabbage Noodles, Mung Bean Noodles, Wood Ear Mushrooms, Cucumber Salad, and Silky Glass Noodles, all of which were delicious. Wish they had a meatless option on their Mala Pot menu, but you can't have everything. Definitely looking forward to future meals at Dun Hua

It was 4 PM on a Friday, and I had just come home from an early workday. I was craving Chinese food, but I had a big family, a Discover card, and no cash. ☹️ Luckily, I found this gem online near me that offers delivery and accepts cards! They even bring a small card machine to your house where you can tap to pay with Apple Pay. The food was delicious and fresh, and it only took 30 minutes to arrive at my doorstep. Ok but not great. I ordered and waited in person. (sweet n sour) Chicken comes breaded with sauce on the side. Egg roll was flavorless, all breading, no duck sauce. Pork fried rice was good. Not awesome, but honestly, I’m pretty happy if chinese takeout is edible, and this was! A rating in the window. $9 for lunch special. Next time I’d try chicken n broccoli or eggplant

Tried Deng Ji Yunnan Rice Noodle in Flushing~Their signature Crossing-the-Bridge Rice Noodle is delicious — super generous portions with plenty of toppings! We also ordered salt & pepper chicken, marinated tofu skin, and the savory pancake — all flavorful and well-made.
