Such a charming little spot. The Little Book Shop has a really cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes you want to slow down and browse for a while. The selection feels thoughtful and well-curated, and the space itself is just warm and peaceful. Customer service was kind and welcoming without feeling overbearing, which I appreciated. It’s the kind of place you can pop into quickly or lose track of time in. Definitely a gem.

If I have a hard-to-find record, I go here. If I just want to discover “new" artists, I go here. You may pay a bit more—from time to time— than other places, but the collection of jazz, soul, rock, reggae, and more is at a high taste level. All collectors are welcome, but just know this place is for the aficionados. On top of that, the coffee, atmosphere and owner are terrific.

Heads up that this is a one-sided review: I popped in during a record crawl late on a Saturday afternoon, so I can’t speak to the coffee — and I suspect plenty of people want that side of the story, since it’s primarily a coffee shop that happens to sell records. The space is great. Warm lighting, cool aesthetic, easy to linger in. Staff are friendly enough but hands-off; they’ll ring you up and offer help, but they’re not here to talk music with you. For digging on your own, that’s no problem.

This Barnes and Noble is great! The cafe has lots of seating, and they recently added MORE outlets (very exciting), making it a great place to study/work. Great selection of books and other goods as well. They get docked 1 star because the bathrooms are locked and require a receipt code to enter - a new policy in the last year or so. Review written from perspective of parent taking daughter on self-guided walking tour. Very cute and well-maintained little campus. Walking tour restricted to outdoor spaces only. Walls completely surround the campus making it feel incredibly safe. Friendly security guard who ensured we were on the list before we were admitted in. Cannot comment on the quality of the education obviously nor the people because it was a ghost town since it was the middle of summer.

Ultra high premiums and coverage that is abysmal. So many exclusions as to make your policy worthless to you should you have a claim. They also underwrite so as to make a profit off of every policy. Pay off the thing by any means instead of giving these people money for a worthless insurance product.

I ended up here totally by chance while waiting for a table to open up at Golden Diner. I was very impressed by the selection of books available and ended up taking home a graphic novel. The coffee was good, reasonably priced, and I was able to sit downstairs and read while I waited. The creators of Tubby Nugget were signing books while I was there in preparation for a meet and greet, so there seem to be events that happen here as well. Good sticker and postcard options, too! Sweetea has a 4.8 rating and now I understand why. The taro mochi cheese foam milk tea was really good. The mochi was soft and chewy but not sticky, and it blended nicely with the taro. The cheese foam was light and not overly salty. We also tried the mango mochi pop. Even with no sugar it still had natural sweetness from the real mango jam and the popping pearls. I had an amazing time. We walked in and there weren’t a lot of people here just two people. Almost all of the cats are friendly just some of them are a little spicy and you are aware of who is spicy and who’s not. All of the cats are adoptable. They have kittens! Each cat has a different personality and their own way of showing you they love you. This place was awesome I wanna come once a week if I was able to.

Sooo good! The soft serve was perfect. The store was crowded on a very cold evening, I can only imagine how busy it is when it gets hot! The ordering process was straightforward at a kiosk and then picked up at the counter. It was less than a 10 minute wait for the cones. You can’t beat $1.19!

This was my first time trying 787 with my friend who had tried it in Puerto Rico. The dulce de leche latte (with oat milk iykyk) was fantastic. And Ilene was so kind and knowledgeable! I loved all the PR references throughout the shop. Definitely going to make a point to come back here before I leave the city!

Such a nice coffee shop with lovely staff, great service, and delicious drinks and pastries! Selam was especially the kindest and the most helpful to my friend and I this evening! One of my favorite coffee roasters in Bushwick. Located in the backstreets of the neighborhood amongst warehouses and in one itself. The trek is a bit off the beaten path it’s well worth to grab some of their freshly roasted beans. Out of their wide selection of beans I’m obsessed with their Salvadoran stock, highly recommend scooping a bag of it(sells out quick).

Well worth the effort to brave the -13c weather to come for a coffee. The rum infused latte I had was delicious and heart warming for this insane cold. Definitely will be back for another shot while I am still in town.

What a great place 787 is! Firstly, Ashley was incredible! A knowledgeable and talented human and barista!..! And a great salesperson.. the empanadas were so tasty, and warm, and packed with protein, the banana bread was fresh and Ashley warmed it up for us, the three roasts were all tasty, and the latte art was great! I cannot wait to go back! 10/10 highly recommend.

Cute place, lot of selections on the menu from real food, soups, to pastries. I had the chai latte with a chocolate chip cookie and beef empanada. The empanada was so good, I recommend it! Also comes with a dipping sauce that adds to the flavor! Nice place to catch up with friends, relax, and get work done!

I’ve been to this coffee shop three times now, and they make an incredible cortado. I love the atmosphere and the interior, and the coffee is easily some of the best in the city. My only complaint? That this amazing place isn’t in Manhattan 😁

Put this cafe on your list. The atmosphere is super comfy and the decor is stunning- plus it’s incredibly clean. Came in to try their kunafa — both the classic Nablusi soft version and the crunchy cheese kunafa. I personally preferred the crunchy version for its texture, and it felt a bit less sweet overall. They also carry pastries from Paloma Bakery, which I’m a big fan of. The coffee was excellent as well; they use Ilse coffee beans. The space itself is beautiful, with a comfortable seating area and a welcoming atmosphere. Friendly staff. We’ll come back again when we’re in the area.

i got the fig cream matcha and it was probably one of the creamiest matchas i have ever had. i like the fun flavors of matcha that were available and will come back to try their standard matcha latte.

Reasonable prices, generous portions, cosy atmosphere, and excellent drinks selection (taro super food latte was 10 / 10). The food quality was fantastic: the flavors worked very well together and each dish felt precise & generous (I especially liked the eggs benedict on waffles). Staff were very welcoming and attentive — our waitress Jazmin was the kindest. If you’re in Hells Kitchen, this place is a must for brunch.

What a wonderful way to share mother daughter time. We were two moms and daughters. One group ordered the mad hatter and two others ordered afternoon tea. Stopped by on my day off. Everything was perfectly curated. Great selection of house made pastries. All made from scratch. The matcha tiramisu is to die for and the almond latte was exquisite. Still dreaming of it. The baristas were so kind and friendly.

Best basque cheesecake I’ve ever had, hands down! I got the matcha and the yuzu ones. Both were amazing, very light and delicate flavors. The matcha flavor was very good and there was no bitter aftertaste. The yuzu one was my favorite. I will definitely be coming back!

A Cozy corner cafe and bakery with completable chairs. I ordered a cappuccino and an apricot pistachio pie. Both were really good. The pie wasn't too sweet and the coffee was on the more roasted side. Just like I like it.
