I discovered this place during my routine walk around Atlantic Ave. I was in the mood for a coffee during my walk and I also needed place where I can use the restroom. So I went in and it ended up being a place I truly appreciate. The coffee is good in my opinion and the seating area comes in handy when wanting to disconnect and concentrate. I definitely recommended this place! There is Wifi but you gotta ask the barista for the password.

For my fellow milk coffee snobs: it's rare to find a place in NYC which knows how to respect both the espresso shot and alternative milk. Came here on a cold (-17C) sat morn and ordered an oat capp to warm my pretentious soul. Smooth, well-heated milk and even did a bit of latte art despite being in takeaway cup. The coffee had distinctive notes (deeply nutty and a touch of lavender).

Had banana peanut butter croissant and banana walnut honey bread, with caramel mocha and house coffee. All very delicious before a shopping trip down the street to Chinatown and Little Italy.

I love think coffee but charging an extra 50 cents for a plastic cup is ridiculous. I had ordered and purchased a coffee to stay, then I had to leave earlier than I anticipated. I had about half of my drink left. I went up to ask for a cup so I could take it to go, was told I would have to go pay 50 cents first. I stopped by this Blue Bottle location after Café Volkan around the corner was too packed. This is a tiny little cafe that has a good atmosphere. Inside, there’s only three indoor bar tool seats, and not much room to stand while you wait for your order—but it works. If the weather is nice, then sitting outside is lovely and relaxed, which I did on a spring day, and was able to catch some shade under the little tree outside. This would definitely be a great spot to grab a coffee to go and walk

Ordered a vanilla scone and a piece of Dubai chocolate. Had to clarify that I didn’t wish for the chocolate to be heated. In between putting the scone in a bag and putting the chocolate in another bag, the server talked to his co-worker, put 2 sandwiches in the microwave and started heating them, straightened the cups, and asked if I wanted the chocolate heated. Again. It took ten minutes to get my order. This would be funny if it wasn’t so sad. Perhaps a robot would be better?

As a girly from the West Coast (SoCal-- who arguably knows matcha better than the East Coast) this place was amazing. I got the Matcha Koya— outstanding! Robust umami flavor paired excellently with lychee. I can’t wait to come back and try more drinks my next trip! Staff was very friendly and service was crazy quick! I’m sitting in the shop as I’m writing and I’m tempted to get another!!

The iced drinking chocolate was so yummy especially during the summer months. I did the half white chocolate and half milk chocolate. It was the perfect balance of sweetness but the chocolate was still rich. The staff helped me figured out the mix to get based on how sweet you want it.

Ordered the grape drink and the matcha on the app and it took about 20 mins - half an hour to get two drinks even though we ordered on the app.. I was told that the matcha was good and had a strong matcha flavor. A great spot for a really good coffee and something tasty to go with it. We tried a pastrami croissant and an egg, cheese, and bacon croissant, and both were delicious, with perfectly crispy pastry and lots of flavor. The service was very friendly as well. Came in around 9:00pm, an hour before they were closing. I saw that they had cleaned the floors right before we walked in, and my mom accidentally dropped coffee all over the floor, we felt so bad! The staff were very nice about it and remade my mom’s drink. Whichever staff were working the night of April 17th definitely deserves a good shoutout from management for great customer service, they were so sweet about it.

Visited this coffee shop every morning when we were staying on 38th. Great coffee and convenient spot to stop in and grab a quick coffee to go. The cookies are also amazing! Definitely try the chocolate chip (2017 NY Cookie Contest Champs), though the Tuxedo cookie is also amazing. Also, Danielle and Jenna are great at making coffee and giving recommendations for great spots around town! Visit all three locations (like I did) if you get a chance next time you’re in NY!

Walking through Chinatown around 8pm, I wanted boba and this place had good reviews. The inside is small, but comes with a few places to sit. The service was very friendly and quick. My large milk tea with boba with light ice and medium sugar was refreshing. It wasn't very sweet. The boba was more hard and less flavorful than I'm used to, but it was still decent.

So glad I felt pulled into this clean, bright, uncluttered tea shop to enjoy a delicious jasmine milk tea. They made it for me without sugar nor boba, as I don’t like it sweet. I was visiting family over the Memorial Day weeknd. This was my first time dining here. I love the decore and the vibe. The menu is extensive. The wait for my food took some time. Perhaps it's because they were quite busy. When our food arrived it was delicious. The portions were very generous. I even had to take my leftover home. I have had the greatest experience at Mon Amor. From the very first day that I have walked in the door Axel has been great. He takes great care of my order and is always welcoming and friendly. I appreciate the warmth of the new employees Davia and Emily, also! They all help make coming to Mon Amor a great pleasure. This is a great coffee shop with cool vibes, delicious coffee, yummy pastries, plants that bring the shop to life, and interesting art on the walls. Even if the line is long the employees are very fast and the service is excellent. If you're in the area, stop by. There's indoor and outdoor seating if you don't want to take your order to go. They have different drink specials at different times so there's always something new.

It pains me to write this because I appreciate a place with vegan options, but I was extremely disappointed by my coffee today. I barely tasted the coffee and it was straight up syrupy flavor and milk. It was not worth 8 dollars. In the past I ordered a vegan burrito and the paper wrap was melted into the burrito so it was inedible unless I cut it open and only ate the filling. These two occasions will stop me from revisiting this store despite the warm, respectful staff.

My favorite location. I’m there every Saturday. The staff provides the best customer service. My sister and I have been to other locations and were treated poorly. Julez greeted me as soon as I walked in and provided excellent customer service! She helped me identify a drink I would enjoy (the “daydream”) and had a sunny disposition throughout our interaction. Unlike other coffee shop chains that can feel very cold and “factory-like,” the service at Blank Street felt warm and personable. The other two ladies at the front were also super friendly and helpful! My latte was delicious, and seating was very comfortable. Will def be returning.

Great pizza options! We had 2 small pies (the vodka and the meatball & burrata). Both pies were super fresh and delicious. The BBQ wings are 10/10! Everything is served fresh which is great. The restaurant vibes feel like a cafe but there is ample seating. They also have jazz nights so I might come back for that. The servers are attentive and can give you recommendations if you’re unsure! I will be back!
