The Shahi Catering That Transported Me 2 Miles Away!✨ Have you ever had food so authentic it actually made you homesick for a place that wasn't even your home? That's exactly what happened when I first walked into Shahi Catering Bellerose, NY 11426. I was craving something that would remind me of my time living in Hyderabad, where my Indian friends would invite me to their homes for those soul-warming, grandma-cooked meals that no restaurant could replicate. Or so I thought—until I discovered

I had a fantastic dinner at NYC Tikka Masala in Flushing! The tandoori wings, lamb biryani, and veg momos were all so flavorful. The fresh limeade was perfectly refreshing, staff was friendly, and prices are fair. Can’t wait to come back soon

We ate here on our last night in Manhattan. I searched online for an Indian restaurant that had a high rating. This one did not disappoint. We were immediately greeted by friendly faces and sat right away. Everything we ordered was perfect! The presentation was lovely and the portions were generous. It’s possibly the best naan I’ve ever had. I had the Chana Saag. It was the perfect balance of chick peas, spinach and aromatic spices. The samosa were excellent as well. Roman our server was so atte

We were able to host a wonderful reception in this hall. The management was very cooperative with us. We were able to communicate and book the place online because we are from a different state. Throughout the event they stayed with us to make sure everything was to our fullest satisfaction. Special shoutout goes to Shammi apu for walking us through the whole booking process and making sure everything was top notch.

I absolutely love the customer service here! The staff is incredibly professional and welcoming. I recently tried the Beef Tehari and Chai at the Jackson Heights branch, and the food was good. I’ve also managed to try every item at the Jamaica location! While the food is a solid staple, the hospitality is what truly keeps me coming back.

Best Pakistani food I've ever had since I came to united states If you have a better place than this I'd like to know Area is not super friendly and ready for huge group to dine in. I'm judging the quality of the food Their chicken Tikka is like heaven in earth, I have tried so many places around the country. Their naans are so fresh and fluffy and really a good size for the money I live in st Louis but visited Tikka Grill by coincidence in 2010 when I had an interview in New York, I have never

We visited Curry Flavor twice during our stay, and both experiences were excellent. The food was outstanding on both occasions. Our first visit was for dinner, and considering the authentic quality of the dishes, the prices were surprisingly reasonable for New York. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the very next day for lunch. We eat Indian food regularly and were genuinely impressed by the flavors and authenticity here. The service was attentive and very friendly, and the owner personal

Best butter chicken i’ve ever had!! There’s options to allow for spice levels which makes it great to order for groups. We ordered take out and the owner was nice enough to throw in an extra naan for us, thank you! Sauce was very flavorful, great portions of chicken. Even the plain white rice had wonderful hints of herbs and cardamom. Naan was soft, filled with cheese and huge portion for the price. Will be back!

This is the best Indian food in Midtown Manhattan. Unfortunately, for those who walk by, it is currently overshadowed by sidewalk scaffolding, and most people won’t notice it. Don’t “judge this book by its cover.” Once you enter, you are transported into a cozy, luxurious small restaurant, with classy decorations and lighting. The menu is everything you’d expect from a Michelin-class kitchen, with innovative twists on classic Indian dishes, amazing spices and flavors. The service is top-notch.

Had the lunch special, which was beef curry with jasmine rice and naan $13. The food was good, not too spicy. Fresh naan was the best part. The service was okay - very friendly staff, put my food on the counter rather than brought it to my table - even though I was the only person there. Food presentation and atmosphere was very basic. This spot is kind of like a chinese restaurant for Indian Food.

Catered for a work birthday party. The ordering process was above and beyond. Seema took the time and answered all my questions regarding the food and delivery process. The food was excellent and presented beautifully. Made my coworkers day so special ! We did not eat in restaurant so I didn’t rate atmosphere but customer service was the best!

This place must have new owners, because the service was horrible. Was not acknowledged when I walked in, tended to uber pick up drivers. Finally chose my own seat and then was ignored for the next 7 mins and the finally walked out. I have been to this place on several occasions and was never treated this way. It’s sad to leave such a note, as I have enjoyed the food in the past but after this experience I will not return, clearly my business was not wanted (we were a party of 4). The previous o

I visited Bombay Kakab yesterday and It was my first time trying indian food and it was honestly super good and flavorful. Every bite just felt like I was tasting something new. My friends and I got the chicken tikka masala and chicken biryani and the chicken was so flavorful! We also order the naan and we weren’t disappointed it was so good and buttery!! I can’t wait to revisit so I can try the other items on the menu. ❤️❤️

We did a take out for dinner. I ordered chicken chatnar which was an okay dish. The restaurant gave us a complementary Naan which was nice of them. The restaurant looks great and has a variety of food which I would like to try sometime. Good dining space, with street parking which you can imagine in Brooklyn. The rates on the menu in google maps have to be updated from the $5 to actual prices.

Delicious dosa! It comes out fresh, hot and crispy. I got the Mysore masala dosa and a chai. I loved both. The sambar and chutneys it came with were great as well. It’s in pier 57 which has tons of seating both inside or out. I’d love to try their momos next time as well, but I felt the dosas really hit my craving

I completely stopped eating in Jackson Heightss desi food because of how dirty their BATHROOMs are. Going back two years this place had really really great bathroom. The food was OK and service was decent. I'm literally a customer here because it had a really good bathroom. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Chicken 365 from Hasan Chinese Restaurant is absolutely outstanding! The flavor is rich, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right—juicy on the inside with a great texture. Every bite tastes fresh and satisfying. The portion size is generous, and the quality is consistently excellent. You can tell they put real care into their food. If you’re a fan of flavorful chicken dishes, this is a must-try. Highly recommend Hasan Chinese Restaurant—definitely coming back for this

Inday is one of several eateries in the restaurant pavilion of a busy NYC office building and tourist location. I’ve worked in this building several times a month over the past 2 years, and worked my way through all of the food offerings. A few of them are quite good, but none have captivated me like Inday. For the past few months, for workday lunch I simply don’t want to eat anywhere else. They’ve got a great menu, although I’ve personally settled on their Golden Chicken Curry! The vegetabl

Disappointed by these fast casual Indian lunch bowl spot. The bowl had way too much rice and quinoa (the bases) compared to the sides and sauce to the point that it was dry — increasing profit margins at the expensive of making a good dish. They also heavily skimped on the paneer (protein choice), literally got less than 10 tiny cubes in my bowl. Taste wise it was actually very good. I liked the lentils and the tikka masala sauce. The other factors make this a no-go though.

Highly recommended! I had an amazing diner with my fiancée today. I regret forgetting to take the server’s name as he was very nice to us and accommodating not to mention him being by himself in the kitchen back there it seemed. The food was very delicious. So much flavor. I am so glad we randomly walked in there and got such a great dinner. Thank you

Nice place to have some food/snacks after or before doing your grocery shopping (maybe before lol). It's a cozy place to enjoy your meal with friends and family. Service is nice and foods are tasty. If you're around the area give it a try. We went many many times and our experience wasn't bad. I see some other not-too-good reviews from people & I feel I was fortunate not to have similar experience, but I agree that they can improve themselves. Wishing them all the best 🤘🏽

I see that this place has mixed reviews so here’s my honest take. The food is really delicious and very flavorful. Some of their items do have a bit of a spicy kick so I wouldn’t recommend this place to someone that has a low spice tolerance.
