Paros in Tribeca is my new go-to for modern Greek. The room is bright and stylish, blue-and-white Cycladic vibes that make you feel like you’ve stepped onto a Greek island, but it’s the food that brings me back. The grilled octopus is charred and tender, the seafood is fresh and clearly imported with care, and the Bronzino with lemon hits that perfect sweet-salty note. Chef George Pagonis knows what he’s doing. Add genuine Greek hospitality and a sharp cocktail program, and it’s a standout. Perf

Wow — absolutely delicious to the last bite. I had the Mimi’s Platter with beautifully seasoned lamb kebab, crunchy farro tabbouleh, and tender carrots. The hummus was chef’s kiss, and the pickles had the perfect snap — great texture without being too sour. So glad to have this spot nearby. Can’t wait to come back.

Dropped in at 9am on a Friday morning and enjoyed the most delicious Americano, avocado toast, granola bowl and blueberry scone. Ever single item was fresh and flavorful. It was easy to find seating inside and the atmosphere was relaxing and full of natural light. What a treat! Would highly recommend!

Love Nana Good Eats. The food is always fresh, flavorful and the restaurant is always clean, organized and cozy. The owner and staff are always so helpful, kind, friendly, efficient and accommodating. Amazing eats and amazing people. Been here so many times and love everything. We always get their falafels, chicken schnitzels, beets, tumeric cauliflowers, pita breads are always warm and so fresh. And their Limonana is so delicious with mint. Keep up the wonderful work.

When I first took a bite of the Brooklyn Goddess Burger all I could think about was the word frustration... How could I have lived in Brooklyn for all this time and have not yet come into this phenomenally wonderfully restaurant! So frustrated that it took me so long to find them! The second word that came to mind was intention. The burger that I had was so fantastically crafted and the way it came together it was so balanced and nuanced I just really just don't have any words to describe it.

While the food was delicious and the hookah and drinks were superb, the staff's lack of smiles and apparent unhappiness left us with a less-than-positive impression. WORST place to get food. I ordered 2 hrs ahead knowing its ramadan iftar time gets busy. When i got there my food was not ready. The guy kept saying 5 more min. I waited patiently. When i broke my fast and trying to eat this food it was soo undercooked, meat was raw. Me and my family couldn’t eat that nasty food. They rushed it and not cook it properly. When i called after iftar the guy who picked up said it was the freaking owner who was cooking. So as a owner of this business do you really th

This place is slept on, seriously. This is the only bar in the area where the cocktails don’t taste like straight juice AND I actually get what I pay for. Also, the bartenders are friendly and the food is good too. I grew up not far from here and I’ve been struggling with the east village lately. I came with my friends and we had a blast and got stuff on the house. Thanks guys!! (Bonus points for comfortable bar seats). Pic of the bartender he was so great!!

Very nice surprise. I discovered this awesome small eatery as I was looking to get a quick healthy bite while in the area. My falafel platter was exceptional. It tasted fresh and delicious. Gyros, souvlakia & other traditional eats in a petite, Greek-inspired space with a casual ambiance.
I stopped by Greek Express and ordered a Gyro:Vertical slow roasted lamb and beef mix with spices, thinly sliced and wrapped in pita with tomato, onions, lettuce, and tzatziki." Instead, I was served what tasted like a cheap processed sausage. It had no visible meat fibers or texture at all—just a compressed, paste-like mass with a sour, soy-like flavor. It bore little resemblance to the lamb and beef described on the menu. I was very disappointed, especially considering that this was not an ine

Very good Lebanese food. Fairly new to lebanese/Arab foods, but sofar loving it and this place helps. Best plain Hummus iv ever had. I had to ask for more. The fattoush salad very refreshing. Had an excellent gyro tonight at Taste of Gyro in Astoria. The meat was perfectly seasoned and sliced, the pita was warm and soft, and everything was fresh. Simple, honest food done right. Portions were generous and the flavors really hit the spot. This is exactly what a gyro should be. Even though they were busy at the place with take out orders they were working hard to please everyone. Great customer service! I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it if you’re in the area.

Had our company’s Christmas party here and overall had a great time. The DJ was excellent and really kept the energy up all night—music was on point and the crowd was lively. The atmosphere was fun and perfect for a group event. The only downside was the $40 cover charge, which felt a bit steep, but aside from that, the night was a good experience. I discovered this place when seeking out a Summer of Ludd guidebook and sat down for a spectacular latte and avocado toast that had fresh dill and cucumbers, a winning combination new to me that I will highly recommend to anyone who loves the avocado toast adventure. To Steki in Whitestone is an absolute gem. The chicken and burger patties are hands down some of the best I’ve had. I booked a private event here for my 40th birthday in April — rented out the back space for a group of around 30 people. The on-site staff were incredible, and I want to be clear about that. My issue is entirely with how the private event coordination was handled. Looking back, I should have taken it as a red flag when I asked for photos of food from past private events and was told they didn’t have any. From there, I went back and forth with their event manager about food quantities — as someo

The food here is very delicious. Everything had depth of flavor, great texture, and simple but beautiful presentation. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. First time I go there and we loved it. First of all what caught my eye was the freshly made pita. Though I was still doubtful because all the pitas I’ve had are dry. But my sone ordered a pita sandwich I saw them cut it and see the steam come out that I made me want to order a pita by itself. The pita bread was amazing. Soft, doughy and not too thick. I also ordered the crispy chicken rice bowl with veggies and a basil aioli. Very good. Would definitely good back again.
