Authentic Mexican food, delicious desserts, Mexican candies, drinks, breads, all incredibly delicious! Everything here is fresh and you can just take your food and sit at any table. The tamales are also amazing. It’s always busy and I will definitely be coming back and bringing friends to experience their wonderful cuisine.

We came down at lunch time to try their Oxtail Philly Cheese on Coco Bread. The place is clean and neat and the people at the counter were super sweet and friendly. The food is delicious, the oxtail was cooked beautifully and tasted savory with some real spice that was unexpected but definitely welcomed. We loved Ramro. The food was excellent, and we really enjoyed everything we ordered. They were kind enough to sit us early for our reservation. The service was also impressive - we counted only 3 people working, but the dishes were spaced decently, and our waiter (who was also cooking and bartending) made time to give us thoughtful drink/food recommendations. The space is tiny, so reservations seem important.

I had the bagel with Kalamata olive cheese and a coffee at La Luna Café, and it was amazing. The bagel was fresh, the Kalamata olive flavor was rich and delicious, and the coffee paired perfectly with it. Such a great breakfast experience.

Went here with my brother for breakfast last week. It was excellent. I got huevos pericos (scrambled eggs with tomato, peppers, green onions, etc.) and he got the rice and beans with sausage. Both were excellent. The green hot sauce was also really good—we almost went through an entire bottle. Finally we split a vanilla do if which was more like a donut eclair; very very sweet but good. In short, I loved this place. There is no wonder it is so hyped up and popular.

Had a great meal here! We tried the sopes, chilaquiles, and camarones a la diabla, and everything was packed with flavor. The sopes were fresh and delicious, the chilaquiles were perfectly seasoned, and the shrimp was absolutely delicious. It had the right amount of spice. During my recent trip I wasn't able to have pizza in the city due to some logistical issues and thought I missed out on pizza this time but then I walked into this corner shop in Astoria and it was the best decision of my trip. Ora is such a cozy neighborhood spot. The vibe is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed dinner. The food was excellent — loved the beet salad, the sautéed portobello mushrooms were full of flavor, and the steak was cooked perfectly. Everything felt thoughtful and comforting. I love going to Malu any time I get the chance. They always have fresh pastries, and I especially love their freddo. We had a wonderful experience at Ancla. My wife, our 8 month old baby, and I went for dinner, and everything was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious. We both love lomo saltado, so that’s what we ordered. It was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and simply outstanding. I also had a pisco cocktail, and my wife ordered a margarita, both were fantastic. Visited this Italian restaurant in astoria, inside look like a local italian cafeteria to my point of view, tho the service that day was great, very friendly the server. Food was delish, orden penne a la vodka and chicken parmigiana both flavor were amazingly tasty. The only think I didn’t like was one of the eater was vaping at the end and was little uncomfortable. Worst drinks ever in all of LIC. Everytime i go its just a cup of milk with a hint of coffee. Ordered a shaken espresso and had to remind the lady to "shake it".. after she was already about to hand me the drink. They have different types of pastries if you are looking for something to eat. There is some seating inside if your looking to hang out for a bit. Parking is street parking in astoria so be aware you might have a little challenge but I always seem to find a spot relatively quick.
