East Village Thai eatery serving basic dishes in a small, modern-looking dining room.
First time in this place and I really liked it I had the lunch special, good food, portion and affordable prices. I would recommended and I will come back again for more items in the menu. And I need to mention that it was a pickup order, by the time I get home(Bronx) the food was still Hot and I loved that.

Best Banh Mi in NYC hands down! I had the Super Cub Classic with regular spice, and it was delicious! It was flavorful, juicy, and with the bread slightly toasted. The staff was friendly when taking my order, and also following up once I finished my sandwich! 10/10 guys! See ya soon :)

Welcoming coffeehouse with handcrafted coffee, espresso & tea, plus breakfast, lunch & pastries.
I’ve been a Starbucks customer for over 20 years, and because my job takes me to different areas, I’ve visited many of their stores throughout New York. In all that time, I’ve consistently experienced decent to great customer service. Recently, I started working in Alphabet City, so I began going to the St. Marks and Avenue A location. That’s where I met Ayana. I was really impressed by her energy and kindness, which is what led me to write this review. I can honestly say that I haven’t met ma

Yummy yummy chicken in my tummy! Wow the chicken here has flavor! I ordered the spicy chicken burger combo and spicy fried wings. The workers let me know up front about the wait for the wings (10-12 minutes). Everything is fried fresh, which I definitely don’t mind waiting for! The wings were my favorite. They are seasoned down to the bone and are proper spicy. Better than Popeyes or any other chain imho. The crispy house sauce (served on the side) was okay, have to try others but it was fine fo

Well let me just start by saying that I always have a bad experience with this place. First a few months ago they opt me out my account and I couldn’t receive my discounts. I just made a order for my kids and they didn’t add the buffalo sauce mind you it’s not the first time they screw up my orders and when I ask if they will give me a discount on my order he said no and that he can send dipping sauce… the workers are so misserable and rude at this spot I would definitely suggest going to anothe

Relaxed, intimate cocktail lounge with comfy banquettes, creative drinks & retro music.
This has got to be one of the worst bars I’ve ever went to in my lifetime. Not even 10 minutes after getting there, my friend was escorted out unnecessarily. He ordered a beer and water but decided not to tip. His intention was to tip later on since he was going to order quite a few drinks. But when the female bartender gave him the water, she spilled it in frustration that she did not receive a tip and then told the security guard to escort him out. That I think was disrespectful, unprofessiona

Sooo delicious!! The staff are so friendly and nice. We ordered the signature set (cold yuzu soup) and the hot udon set and both were very good. They were $23 each ($29 with tax and tip). The tempura was perfect - light and crispy. I just wish the portion was a bit bigger - we left still being hungry haha.

Laid-back, brick-clad neighborhood bar serving craft beer alongside hearty burgers & fries.
Excellent beer bar serving great food at good prices and with an extensive list of awesome craft beers. The bartender Andre was extremely nice and did a great job helping us. The happy hour until 7pm was nice, and it’s overall an awesome place to have a couple of beers with friends and it’s open late! Edited May 2026 - added photos of the burger and some tacos. I’ve never seen the happy hour special advertised but pre-7pm you can get a burger with fries and a house lager for $15. Our bill came

Decided to stop by with some coworkers for happy hour. The bartenders and rest of the staff are friendly, and the cocktails are really good. This place is honestly such a great shisha spot. The hookah was amazing, super smooth, and the coals were always being refilled without us even having to say anything. They use Coco Nara coals and I got the Sultana mix with Rose and Pan, and it was so smooth and long lasting. Mustafa was serving us and he was truly so attentive and friendly the entire time. We went here to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and approached the bartender politely requesting one song. He told us “we don’t do that here,” and we just said okay, not arguing at all. We only asked because we saw an out of service jukebox, so assumed that there was a chance they were taking requests. We proceeded to order two beers, in which we didn’t tip because it was $16 for Miller Lites that take one second to open. The bartender proceeds to look and check if we left a tip, sees we didn’t,

Went for lunch during the week. I got the fried rice with squid which was a upcharge but the lunch comes with dumpling. The food had great flavor was hot and fresh. Fantastic, elevated seafood counter dining experience. Every seat was filled at about the same time yet the staff handled each group as if you were the only diners. Loved watching the prep of the dishes, like a synchronized dance. Every dish was fantastic. Great wine choices perfect for the food. A bit out of the way, but the cookies are delicious, and service is friendly, and it's reliably stocked up, unlike another popular bakery close by (red gate). I got the sea salt chocolate chip cookie as well as the brown butter cookies. Both were delicious! I tend to feel like other places get a bit too heavy handed on the salt on cookies; but the salt and sweet here are well balanced. I'll be back!

Tiny, unpretentious izakaya-style joint serving sake & sake cocktails, soju & Japanese small plates.
Love this little gem. We came right after they opened on a Monday and had the place to ourselves! Susan was great explaining food choices and chatting about sake choices. I love that you can eat small plates that come out quickly and perfect for sake nerds! I would come back all the time for these 2 dishes pictured. Amazing flavor and love the homemade pickles. Leans a tad too sweet for me, but overall the pastries are tasty and well-made. I always get a cardamom bun at a Nordic bakery as it delivers the pleasures of an American cinnamon roll but without the overwhelming sugar: plush, soft, and slightly sticky bread accented with warming spices. The tebirkes here uses sesame instead of poppy seeds, which compliments the marzipan really nicely. The scone had a really strong scallion flavor, which I loved, but it tasted a bit sweet? Incredible wine bar vibes at Bibi. Really. The only shame is that it's tucked away on some side street in the East Village. I liked the hearty chicken wings. Very meaty. Nachos were good too. I like the guacamole. Big portion. They are generous with the portion. Nice thick slices of jalapeños. Mozzarella sticks delicious. Tater tots w sour cream and cheese were good. Portion size just right for the price.

Tranquil Japanese tea house offering matcha drinks and traditional sweets, plus tea ceremonies.
Visited this place to try the traditional matcha that is prepared by hand. It’s a very small place, the dining area is mostly tatami with tea wares, and there is just a big enough for a few customers to stand. You may sit on the tatami, but if you will place your feet on it, I would recommend you to remove your shoes. The shop itself is in a place where if you blink you’ll miss it. Their operating hours are limited, and I was unsure as to whether I’d be able to see the server prepare the matcha

Came in on a Saturday night not long before closing and ordered the spicy cumin lamb noodles. These totally lived up to the hype! The noodles were thick and chewy, with slices of tender lamb and aromatics interspersed throughout. The whole thing was bathed in a spicy and flavorful red chili oil, packing every bite with intense aromas. I could really taste the distinct notes from the chilies, ginger, and sesame oil. I generally don't like Izakaya food that much but they're doing it excellently here. I got the chef's chosen menu for two. Had to get a double order of the addictive cabbage because it's so good. The bouncer “TJ” had the biggest power trip on him. It was a Friday night he let all my friends in and because i was in my HEELS I stepped on the ledge and stumbled a bit.
