The encebollado triple, with fish, shrimp, and pickled fish, was excellent, and a very generous portion. Three of us split that plus the breaded shrimp, which was perfectly fried and came with rice, salad, and tostones. The hot sauce is a must too! The staff was very friendly. I will 100% be back to try more here. It's a great addition to this part of Jackson Heights.

Very beautiful experience I love eating there the workers are very sweet and they serve the food very fast . The Waiter Joel is very kind and likes to help and serves a good service to us . But everyone does excellent their job . Very recommended to go and eat there.

Mamas is more like a sports bar now. A place Latinos hang out served by shapely well dressed Latinas. It’s not very big. I suppose they are trying new service and new attitude. Genny says she runs the place but she was not there Saturday afternoon when I visited. I stopped on way to NYC. I ate crispy empanadas and drank Stella beer 🍺. I’m sure it’s busy at night. I might return.

This was the worst experience of my life. I ate here around 8 pm. Thai tea tasted bland, and the lo mein was just average. the worst part was the staf they were very unfriendly and unwelcoming then handled items very roughly right in front of me. It was really unpleasant to see.

service was great but boba was absolutely not edible. pearls do not absorb flavor and has a rubber like consistency that didn’t pair well with the tea. i got the thai tea and it was very sweet and milky. unfortunately i didn’t end up finishing the drink and won’t be coming again.

To be honest I don't think the coffee was made at 6 am and the coffe/tea area condiments weren't properly serviced. Shaxian is a very commonly found eatery in China (there's a story behind it...), but there is only 2(? as of today's date) in New York. It is extremely difficult to maintain its reputation as cost-friendly, no frills, and convenient when you try to operate in the States. My new favorite spot to have great tasting sushi at a reasonable price. The establishment is relative small only three tables. However don’t let their sizes fooled you as their food is phenomenal. The employees are sweethearts and very accommodating. They suggested excellent pieces to try and I left with a smile on my face and a full belly. Stamp of approval! A must visit location. 🫰🏼🍣

ME ENCANTO!! Super convenient next to the Roosevelt station and a few steps outside the Q70 bus. Perfect for a few bakery goods and coffee or Milo helado if you’re on the go (to the airport or elsewhere). if you have time to sit down their menu looks amazing. Coronas at night at $6 plus $1 tip for the guys, if you buy a a corona (non alcoholic) for one of the dancer girls it will be $20 plus $2 tip. They drink those non alcoholic coronas fast so if you want the dancer girls to stick around they put pressure on you to pony up

Bread and mochi donuts were good. I tried Tiramisu latte, it was good. HK milk tea is little too strong for me, (should have ask for more milk) but with strong HK tea favor. Store inside deco was cute and clean. Will come back when is warmer to try ice-cream and other drinks.
