Korean cuisine has so many amazing soups and I feel like a lot of people don't know about them. Woodam's menu features hearty, delicious soups (and other dishes) and I loved everything I tried. I visited with my unnie for dinner on a Tuesday and we were seated right away. I ordered the sogogi gukbap (beef and rice soup), cheese tteokgalbi (think of them like fried beef/pork meatballs stuffed with cheese), and the Jeju Tangerine Fizz drink (We also got a bottle of Saero soju and added some to th

Casual, colorfully decorated, diner-style eatery specializing in gyros & other Greek favorites.
I’ve been a regular customer here for quite some time, which is why this experience was so disappointing. A couple of months ago, I was able to order the lunch special and enjoy it inside the restaurant without any issue. When I returned recently, I was told the lunch special was takeout only. Normally that wouldn’t be a big deal, but there was only one customer in a very large dining room, and I was essentially being told I couldn’t sit down and eat my meal inside. This wasn’t about saving mo

I came here and ended up having one of the best bowls of sujebi l've ever had, the broth alone deserves its own review. Rich, comforting, and incredibly clean-tasting without being heavy. The bossam was also a delicious. It was tender, flavorful, and perfect with the sauces and banchan, which were all fresh and well balanced. We also tried the octopus and pork with rice, which was super satisfying and packed with flavor. Honestly, everything we ordered worked really well together, but the sujebi

Super cute interior and comfortable seating area upstairs. Staff is friendly as well. Drinks are not bad either. Their tea is fragrant and they have oat milk options which is awesome. Now for my standard comments. Location is clean and well kept.

Stopped by North Shore Diner in Queens and had a great breakfast experience. I ordered 2 eggs, home fries, turkey bacon, and coffee. Everything was fresh, hot, and cooked just right. My son had pancakes with bacon and eggs, and he really enjoyed it. The food was delicious, the portions were good, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Definitely a great spot for breakfast if you're in Queens! 😋☕️

Three-story Chinese buffet hall with enormous capacity, glittery looks & diverse food offerings.
They have the classics for dim sum via carts and you can't beat $4.75 each dish. Not huge variety but you can order from kitchen too. Ok, service is terrible BUT they have a no tip and no service charge policy. So I think it's a fair deal.

Spacious eatery in New World Mall offering Chinese dishes & dim sum in banquet hall-like environs.
This ginormous typically decorated restaurant specializes in special events in the evenings. We went for a 60-70 person birthday party. We had our own partitioned space. There were several large weddings and other birthday parties going on at the same time. The food was average to bland. We had a set banquet dinner. Portions were generous with so much food to bring home in provided lunchboxes. Nov 2025

Casual Asian BBQ joint offering traditional skewers & more in a contemporary space.
Arrived right when it opened so there’s a lot of empty tables. My personal favorite were the sausages. The portion is decent size where you can try out multiple options. Also, the bathroom is really well decorated and clean.

We stopped in for lunch and was completely satisfied. Food was delicious. We ordered 3 main dishes with some sides of assorted dim sum. Large portions to share. I recommend trying thos restaurant if you are in Flushing.

Perfect low-key restaurant with such amazing Uyghur cuisine. It was my first time trying Uyghur food and it was amazing. Definitely would recommend the special Laghman and Big chicken plate (Better to share). The dumplings were also amazing and and would highly recommend either the Gosh nan and the Samsa. The service was also super face and super friendly. Finally we had the saffron tea at the end, a perfect way to end a great meal.

Compact restaurant offering Chinese dishes in a modern dining area with murals & funky furnishings.
The Hunan food here is really delicious, and I love that you can choose the spice level. It’s very friendly for people who can’t handle super spicy food. Everything we tried was flavorful, and the portions were generous. The waiters were also very kind and attentive, their recommendations were spot on. On top of that, they were playing techno music, which made the whole dining experience even more fun. Great food, great service, and great music. Highly recommend this place, and I’ll definitely

Traditional kitchen featuring classic Korean BBQ options grilled at the table, plus sushi & sashimi.
This is a great restaurant and my favorite place to bring a family. It is very kid friendly. We went for a family meal with 9 people, aged 11-83 years old. We ordered the triple combo, 2 orders of mandu, japchae and haemul paejon and it was enough for our party. The staff are very attentive. Everyone was happy with the meal. My absolute favorite thing about San Soo Kap San 2 though are the beautiful array of banchan. They provided egg souffle and soft tofu soup with the meal. I also love that af

Fast-food restaurant specializing in Cantonese rice noodle dish inside mini-mall space.
Smooth, silky steamed rice noodle rolls at this food hall location. Bunch of different filling combinations available from the classic shrimp and beef to "loaded" with shrimp, beef, roast pork. We tried the loaded and it was prepared fresh. We suggest to-go if you want to avoid the noise and crowds. Add a little soy sauce and enjoy. $10

Industrial-chic venue offering Korean fare, including grilled beef intestines, stews & noodles.
One of my favorite BBQ spots, especially if you love intestine. They really specialize in it and do it so well. I definitely recommend going to the location that has AYCE because the Midtown location does not offer it. It’s honestly way more worth it. The last time I went to Midtown, three of us paid around $350 with tip, and we weren’t even that full. I love their corn cheese, and the cold noodles were really good too. The kimchi egg fried rice was amazing. They grill the intestine for you an

This was the best start to end dinner we have had in flatbush so far. The entree for couples made our decisions much simpler. We was very pleased with the service and the atmosphere. the noodles with black bean sauce, sweet sour pork, sweet sour chicken, and the steamed dumplings were all delicious. The flower buns with condesed milk dessert were fantastic. We will surely return.

The first time I came here, I was dragged in by my wife and sister in law. I wasn’t that hungry at the time but they had me try the items they ordered. I am more of an entree-type of person and never really like rice. They had me try one of th signature dishes - rice in a clay pot with different meats. OMG! The rice was very flavorful and cooked PERFECTLY. I’m here today - my 4th visit in the past month and never disappointed. The food is Cantonese style but more of an eclectic touc

Great takeout — tasty food and good prices! We ordered takeout from Teriyaki One Japanese Grill and everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. The salmon teriyaki was perfectly cooked, the fried rice had great flavor, and the dumplings were crispy and full of taste. Portions were generous, and the price was very reasonable. The order was ready on time and packed neatly. Definitely a great spot for quick and tasty Japanese food — we’ll be ordering again soon!
