Mediterranean eatery serving creative tapas, brunch & sangria in a bohemian, plant-filled space.
One of the few places that truly shine in every aspect. Food, service, atmosphere all 10 out of 10. The food is unique and full of flavor such as squid ink rice and succulent bacon wrapped dates. Very dish we ordered was superbly delicious and fresh. Service was pleasant. It’s a small cozy place and can get crowded but it still remains enjoyable. Ambiance is charming. Definitely recommending here and can’t wait to return.

Not bad overall, but I doubt I’ll come back. Tacos are nice, the meat and fish was cooked good, but these weren’t the best tacos I’ve tried. It was a Friday evening, so it was very noisy as there were a lot of people

Latin American cooking by the Cómodo team in an airy, rustic space with a greenhouselike back room.
Delicious food and great service in a really cool atmosphere. We were able to get a table on their back patio and really loved the set up. There’s a happy hour several days of the week with a wine roulette, a couple of cocktails, and a few bites. The server was attentive and made some great recommendations. We ordered the ribeye, potatoes, salad and bone marrow and everything had so much flavor and tasted excellent. Not the largest restaurant so might be difficult with large parties, and it’s po

Homey eatery with red-checkered tablecloths, serving a range of Caribbean fare, including patties.
I aunt Ethel introduced me to Buff Patty in Brooklyn and I tried the chicken patty and the jerk chicken wings, and I’m still thinking about those wings. The chicken patty was delicious, but the wings completely stole the show. They were so good that I actually went back and ordered more just to take home with me to Dallas. That’s how serious it was. I’m Trinidadian, and I'm decent cook, but whenever I come to Brooklyn now, I get excited about going to or ordering from, Buff Patty. They absolut

Theodora never misses! The service is always incredibly gracious, welcoming, and helpful. This is hands-down my (and my partner’s) favorite restaurant in Brooklyn. The plates are delicious in both their simplicity with quality ingredients paired with spices and sauces that are beautifully balanced and unique. The drinks and desserts are also all thoughtfully creative and enjoyable. Almost every dish we had was a 20/10. The dishes that weren’t outstanding were still delicious; just didn’t blow u

Vintage-looking saloon with a large draft beer selection & an expansive menu of bar bites.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Brooklyn Public House – Fort Greene Skip the burgers. Skip the fries. Go straight for the bangers and mash, real-deal sausages (from Myers of Keswick if you’ve got a palate) on creamy mash with light, flavorful gravy. Comfort food that knows what it’s doing. I added a double whiskey hot toddy, warm, balanced, and nowhere near too strong (despite the warning from my lovely server, Celine). She was outstanding, fast, intuitive, and dog-friendly to the core. My dogs got water before I e

Petite eatery featuring homestyle Caribbean meals & cocktails in a festive atmosphere.
Three stars is perfect for this spot . We came upon this restaurant by just walking around before a WNBA game and loved the black owned feel. It’s a black/Caribbean Restaurant and it certainly gives that vibe . We went during the summer and it was very hot , no air conditioning, it felt like we were on a island dining, I’ll say that lol. The food satisfied our hunger but wasn’t something I would recommend as a “go to” , but for a quick bite to eat then it’s perfect. The wings , cooked well, coul

Loved my dining experience. Food was amazing. Shout out to the west African chef in the kitchen because her jollof and fried plantains was amazing. Braised oxtail and scallops were delicious and flavorful. Drinks were stellar. Service was very friendly and continued to check on us to make sure our eating and service experience was going well. Great tunes played and not crazy loud where you can’t hear yourself talk or talk with friends. Definitely a memorable dining experience. I’ll definitely be

Relaxed pub serving burgers, fried bites, tacos & wings, plus margaritas, cocktails & draft beer.
This bar nails the cozy, neighborhood vibe with warm lighting, exposed brick, and lively energy. The drinks are well-crafted, the wings are delicious, and the staff keeps things friendly and efficient. Great music, cool decor, and a welcoming crowd make it an ideal spot for relaxing or catching up with friends.

The best sandwiches I’ve had in the city, and they have killer deserts and general grocery items that are true Italian. Service and staff there are some of the best as well. No better spot for a sandwich in the area.

Staff hygiene fell short: soiled clothing, no hair covering, or unkempt nails.

A Strange Delight Indeed Reservations are a must here, and we learned that the hard way — but it turned out to be a happy accident. Without a table booked, we ended up perched at the bar, which honestly added to the charm of the evening. Tony, who was working the bar, kept the conversation flowing and made the wait feel less like a wait and more like the start of a great night out. We started with the smoked trout dip, which set the tone for the rest of the meal — rich, smoky, and perfect for

Behind a door at Walter's, this elegant Japanese izakaya serves sophisticated dishes & cocktails.
Hidden within another restaurant, this speakeasy izakaya offers a thoughtful, seasonal menu crafted by a superstar chef who began his career in Tokyo. Each dish is beautifully and deliciously prepared, complemented perfectly by cocktails mixed by their amazing bartender. The experience of おもてなし(omotenashi; Japanese hospitality) at this spot is so apparent that by the time we left, my two dinner companions had already declared they’d become regulars, eager to bring their clients next time. Somehow this was my first time going to Thea even though we love Theodora ❤️ The Jerusalem bagel with labneh was sooo good. The chocolate babka was so sticky and tasty. Also the flan croissant was everything I hoped for. So flaky, moist, and delicious. We'll be back to try more items!

Came here for a drinks only date night at the bar. The staff were so nice, with a great wine recommendations. There was an unfortunate incident with two guys stealing food and tips while we were there and the staff handled it very professionally. Definitely would go back!

Awesome bar! I stopped by on a Tuesday night for the first time. It was a random find for me. I loved the punk-heavy music, cool bartender, and just the overall vibe! I tried 3 cocktails and they were all yummy! Something for everyone on the cocktail menu.

Mito is definitely a must-visit spot in Brooklyn! ✨ The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a colorful, modern atmosphere that feels both stylish and full of energy—perfect for a date night or a fun evening with friends. The food is absolutely delicious ,every dish is beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The menu is very diverse, offering everything from classic sushi to creative Japanese fusion dishes, so there’s something for everyone. The cocktails are another highlight —unique,

Dropped in for a quick bite. The dumplings are decent, not mind-blowing. Just a step above the best of the frozen dumplings at a grocery shop’s frozen food aisle. Few seats to sit inside. Service doesn’t come with a smile.

Before it used to take pretty long to get your order but the bowls were so tasty and fresh that I would just grin and bear it.. but lately they have been having these orders come out in a flash! I’m so impressed by the turnaround and really enjoy coming here now. Whatever changes they made, are working. Keep up the great work!

I was so sad when I looked up the previous location on Google map showing it was closed and then happened to walk pass the new location! So happy to revisit this place. Love their dosa. Always super flavorful and tasty. Been a customer before the pandemic and they never disappoint!

One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had, it’s just a phenomenal and special place. Each dish was delicious, fun, and inventive. Watching the chefs work was entertaining and the service was top tier. Highly recommend spending the effort and time to reserve one of their sittings. Again, a truly special place and one of the best restaurants in not just NYC, but in the country.

Really bummed about this, but rating here a 3.8. I was in the area and looking for Fulton Thai (apparently permanently closed), another Thai restaurant but this spot came up and decided to give it a try. It was conveniently located on Fulton as well. I ordered their Pineapple Fried Rice with added shrimp ($19), spring rolls ($10), zaap wings ($11). We drove by the spot first and at first glance, it was a beautiful setup and cozy. The atmosphere was warm despite the cold outside. I was really loo

A great experience. It will be a problem for long leg people sitting, with narrow rows. But I could not see any seat with a bad view of the stage. Sound is good as the music, lyrics, and speech could be hard.

Museum of contemporary art representing issues of the African diaspora.
The 'Red, Black & Green' exhibition by Shani Crowe is worth the visit! It was well curated, and spaced. The café area of the museum is often active. A quiet table can be found in a corner or along the window seating if needed for laptop use. There is WiFi access for customers. And of course, if'Specs', the man with style is at the front desk, you'll receive a robust greeting!
