This is a great gym with an incredibly friendly staff, from the front desk team to the concierge manager and personal trainers. Everyone is professional, respectful, and generally keeps to themselves, but they’ll absolutely go out of their way to accommodate your needs when asked. If you’re looking for a community-style gym where you can make great friends, the Atlantic location—and the Dumbo location as well—are a great place to start. The Atlantic location especially hosts lots of events, part

Home to the Brooklyn Nets basketball games, plus a venue for concerts & boxing matches.
I've been to Barclay's Center a few times for concerts, basketball games, and even the circus. The staff there are always super nice and helpful when it comes to finding your seats. Just a heads-up, if you're planning on grabbing food or drinks, get there early 'cause those lines can get pretty long!

For roughly 2 years, we have been sending our girl for gymnastics and now soccer. So far it has been an average experience. The coaches are mostly good at getting the toddlers involved. Some better than others. They don't make it easy for Stroller parents who want to sit and watch their kids. If you do go to the upper section to view from above, they give you a difficult time when getting off the elevators because they have kids birthday parties in the way to the sitting area. Enduring diner dishing up breakfast & lunch classics in an old-fashioned atmosphere.
Walking into Tom’s Restaurant feels like stepping into a place that never really changed, and that is kind of the charm. The booths are simple, the menu is straightforward, and everything moves at a calm diner pace. I ordered blueberry pancakes first and they came out fluffy and soft with a light sweetness that did not feel heavy. The western omelet was next and it had that home cooked style with peppers, ham, and onions all folded together in a way that felt familiar. The French toast had a ni

I’ve been to this coffee shop three times now, and they make an incredible cortado. I love the atmosphere and the interior, and the coffee is easily some of the best in the city. My only complaint? That this amazing place isn’t in Manhattan 😁

Really fun menu so many things look good and was excited to try. We got beef teriyaki skewers, super crunchy roll and tenon roll. So many good flavors, everything was very satisfying. Really nice experience eating inside with fresh flowers on every table. Would love to come back and try more

Trendy, stylish spot serving Texas-style BBQ by the pound, plus sandwiches & Southern sides.
This BBQ spot definitely had its highs and a few misses, but overall it’s a place worth checking out. Starting with the sides, the cornbread was solid and a great way to kick things off. The greens were also well done, but the coleslaw didn’t quite hit the mark for me—it could’ve used a bit more oil and flavor. The beans were just okay, nothing too memorable. For the meats, the chicken was decent but leaned a little too heavy on that smoky BBQ flavor for my taste. The pulled pork and brisket w

Contemporary-style eatery serving Thai-style small plates & classic entrees such as drunken noodles.
Great food and generous portions! The Spicy Wagyu Beef Fried Rice was definitely the highlight, super flavorful. The wagyu made every bite rich and delicious. The crispy duck was also perfectly crispy. Also the coconut pudding is a must try! Everything we ordered was great, and the portion sizes were huge. Would definitely come back!

Small cafe dishing out creative American comfort food to locals in a laid-back setting.
I’ve been here a number of times and overall I’ve had a good experience. One thing I appreciate is that I never have a hard time finding parking, which is a huge plus in Brooklyn. The food is consistently good. My go to order is the whiting with the red velvet waffles..they’re definitely worth trying. The prices are pretty standard for what you’d expect. My biggest complaints are the hours and the ordering process. They close pretty early, which can be frustrating, and I wish they accepted pho

A Cozy corner cafe and bakery with completable chairs. I ordered a cappuccino and an apricot pistachio pie. Both were really good. The pie wasn't too sweet and the coffee was on the more roasted side. Just like I like it.

Thai restaurant serving traditional plates including curries, noodles & lunch specials.
Amazing Thai spot in Brooklyn. My friend and I had a feast here and everything was so tasty with every bite. My favorite dishes were the sago dumplings and the khao so haeng along with the chocolate lava cake with Thai ice cream. Also you must do the mango tango mocktails that actually have coconut flakes on top. This place is so beautiful and such a lovely vibe for friends or a date night. Check this spot out!

This is a sold spot for tacos. Fresh ingredients. Friendly staff. The fish tacos are pretty good! The steak tacos are 🔥. I tried the chicken birria , they come 3 in an order with a cup of consume. If you’re in the area stop in!!! You will enjoy this spot!

Cute brunch spot with good service and really fun drinks. The brunch menu is really solid and we enjoyed everything we had. us. Our favorite things were the latkes with cream and trout roe, they do latkes very well, and babka French toast. Overall, we liked it and would go back for just for the latkes and cocktails.

Tried the lemon pepper wings and the “Sex and Drugs No. 2” cocktail—both were so tasty. The indoor/outdoor seating had such a great ambiance, perfect for catching a vibe, having conversations, or just unwinding after a long day. What really stood out was the service. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and made the experience even better. Definitely a spot I’d come back to

Japanese spot serving sushi, tempura & hibachi fare in intimate surrounds with exposed-brick walls.
There are sushi places all over NYC. This one is Brooklyn is truly wonderful. They just opened back up and they created such a gorgeous atmosphere..The sushi is fresh and the presentation is very creative. I highly recommend this place…

Cute and trendy sandwich and bagel shop / bakery. Love the backyard patio, so much seating and there’s one fire place! There is limited indoor seating, and a bathroom too. The cornbread is fireeee, I had some of Brett’s. The chocolate babka looked fantastic, I’ll try that next time. It was very busy on Saturday around noon, I waited about 15min for my everything bagel with normal schmear ($5.44).
