My new fav Caribbean spot! Everything I tried was delish. The mango sauce on the wings, Yummy! The rum punch instantly took me back to my island vacay's, nice buzz. Never been a fan of grits, but I decided to try the Grits with Oxtail and OMG, delish. Total game changer! I was pleasantly surprised by how much food you get, definitely worth every penny, the staff is warm and welcoming, and the cozy atmosphere makes you want to stay awhile. Highly recommend. Can't wait to come back!

Pretty standard fare. Got the 2 slice + knots for $5 special. At that price you kinda assume the risk that the food might not be great. This slice was decent but too much sauce not enough cheese to balance it out. Crust was pretty solid. The garlic knots were a lil too on the herby side not enough garlic/butter - the texture, however, was spot on. Chewy and moist.

DRINKS: wow this place had such a colorful collection of instagramable beverages. There were so many drinks on the menu that looked absolutely delicious. It was so hard for me to decide. I ended up going with a lemonade and a mocha. I’ll admit I was expecting the mocha to have a stronger coffee flavor, but it really just tasted like a fancy chocolate milk. Don’t give me wrong. We came here because my boyfriend is a big fan of Crokinole and we were surprised to find a Crokinole bar here! What an absolute treat! Even after spending a week in France, this was by far the best food I’ve had this week. Genuinely, the focaccia sandwich is the best sandwich I’ve ever had: the bread was fluffy with a nice crunchy crust, the pesto was perfect and salty, the burrata was nice and moist, and the mortadella brought it all together. My friend and I have recently become regulars because the first time we visited was an amazing experience! The cocktails are delicious and strong and the bartenders are so knowledgeble and always friendly! The place has a nice chill atmospere and the back patio is perfect for summer nights! I have stopped in here several times when I visit Greenacre park on east 51st . It is a beautiful and peaceful park with the sounds of the waterfall. Ample parking although it gets very busy around lunch hour. The cafe is just inside the park on the left. I always get a coffee and something to eat and then we grab two seats with a nice view of the waterfall. Prices are reasonable and service is quick.

Great place to unwind after work. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and they offer a wide variety of drinks to choose from. The bartender was especially friendly and attentive, making the experience even better with great service and a welcoming vibe. Definitely a place I’d come back to.

First restaurant I’ve ever eaten at in NYC and I must say it was the best experience I could’ve possibly had! I had a breakfast sandwich with a blueberry muffin and hot chocolate. All three were fantastic, it made for the most delicious breakfast I’ve ever had! Service was very friendly as well, couldn’t have asked for anything better! Stopped into Make Believe Bakeshop and was seriously impressed. I just grabbed a drip coffee and a slice of carrot cake, and both were excellent. The coffee was smooth, clean, and way better than your average drip — you can tell they care about their beans. The carrot cake was moist, flavorful, and not overly sweet, with that perfect spice balance. Super friendly vibe inside too. Easy place to pop in, enjoy something good, and feel taken care of. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Astoria.

I really like this location, it feels very homey/welcoming. I visited around 8:40 pm to get a spinach feta egg wrap. It was ready in a quarter of the time I usually wait at other locations, which allowed me to take the bus as soon as I stepped out of this location! The customer service was excellent. I paid $200, but the food I received was something I couldn’t even swallow after a single bite and had to throw away. It lacked any sense of taste or care, and it was by far the most disappointing meal I’ve ever had in my life. I even felt as though I wasn’t respected as a customer. All it left me with was deep disappointment. If the food in the photo looks delicious, that’s only because of the camera. In reality, after a single bite, I had no choice but to throw it in the trash.

I always order from this patisserie and got a new cake for my birthday this year: the earl grey crepe cake is one of my favorites so far! The tea flavor is very prominent and the layers of the cake are very thin and delicious, just as a crepe cake should be. I’m looking forward to buying this cake again in the future!

We got there right at closing time but they were happy to take our order so we just had cold brew which was pretty good. I had to come back for their matcha, beautiful vibrant green color and house made fruit purees, I had the mango matcha latte with oat milk. Also tried this tiramisu latte and a shot of espresso that was perfectly brewed. Friendly staff and well kept shop, no wonder people kept coming in and out.

Great coffee for less that $2. Great food for less than $3. This is where to workers EAT and Caffeinate! All these cutesy coffee shops are too expensive, even the bodegas are beyond reasonable in prices. Amazing flavors of buns and baked goods- coconut cranberry is my favorite, very unique and perfectly tastey. And the savory scallion and pork rolls are a great quick meal for less than $3. I ordered a soup and pine tart. The soup was totally off. The dumplings in the soup were not done and the cow heel was full of hairs. The pine tart seemed like it had been sitting there for a while but had okay flavor. I was very disappointed.
