We got there early, so thankfully there was no wait. The fish and fried chicken were both really good and not greasy at all. The mac and cheese was tasty, and the greens had a nice spicy kick. My wife enjoyed the chicken and waffles. The rice and beans were just okay and probably not something I’d order again. Other than that, the food and service were both good. Overall, a great lunch spot and I’d come back.

My standards for canto food is prob quite high since ive had so much, but i thought this place was okay. Each dish was either lacking flavor or not flavorful enough. My fav was the veggie dish. I think it was cooked perfectly with the perfect amt of crunch, BUT the seasoning and flavors were not thoroughly distributed. One piece of choy would taste good, while one was bland, while one was just very salty. I thought the flavoring for the spare ribs were good but the sauce was a lil too runny,

The dulce de leche latte (with oat milk iykyk) was fantastic. And Ilene was so kind and knowledgeable! I loved all the PR references throughout the shop. Definitely going to make a point to come back here before I leave the city!
