Baos & Bowls in East Village is a great spot for comforting Chinese rice and noodle dishes. The pork trotter rice is tender and flavorful, and the combo with pan-fried bao is worth it. The “Uncle Beef Noodle” with crispy chicken upgrade is also excellent. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and everything tastes freshly made. Perfect for a quick, satisfying meal in the neighborhood.

The service was great. The person behind the counter was super friendly and personable. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this is a place to get bagels. What’s surprise me first is the price. They are charging $14 for half a dozen bagels - so a little less than $2.50 per bagel, which is uncomfortably high for me. I order every week from them to work and home over $200 and always charged me $5 for delivery fee. Then they started being smart and charging me $8 I didn’t say anything. Now I called to place order and they want to charge me $10 for the same order I placed last week and weeks and weeks of being loyal customer. Too bad they lost me and all my friends and co workers. I be sure to share this with everyone I encounter.

Typical Fuzhou breakfast serving up all types of buns, dumplings, soy milk, etc. pricing is fairly decent and the ladies behind counter are very friendly. The location is less than desirable. T & T is located near the end of trash lined alley way and their interior as well as outdoor dining area…. well, let’s just say ordering to go is the proper method. Bottom line they’ve been there for a number of years, so it’s definitely good enough for the neighborhood.

The only thing that you could even say about this place, that’s bad is that it’s small. However, get your food and get out that’s the motto right. The food is super tasty. First time trying Drunk Lost A Shoe and I was honestly impressed! The crawfish were super big and juicy, very flavorful and fresh. 🦞 The fried noodles had that perfect dry wok-fried texture with lots of wok hei, so addictive. The shredded potatoes were also cooked perfectly — crispy, flavorful, and not too oily. Their BBQ skewers were really good too. Great spot for late night food with friends, definitely coming back again!

I would’ve loved to like this, but it simply wasn’t good. This purple one was supposed to be strawberry vanilla, but there’s nothing inside and it just tastes like frosting. The texture is hard like frosting too. After a couple bites, no one wanted to eat more. I would’ve preferred to buy from a generic cake store instead.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a cozy little spot! The food tastes just like home cooking. We tried the pilaf, lula kebab, and shurpa — everything was bursting with flavor. I had this craving for ox tail dish, it is a buffet style, by weight. The place has about 5 or 6 tables in the back and when it was dinner time the place got full with people mostly for taking out. Evan though i came for ox tail that was a delight I couldn't resist and I had a same of the ribs,plantains, black eye pees, fried fish and salmon fish in a sauce. It took me 3 days to finish the food i took way too much lol All in all very good southern food. Go try it out.

Beautiful place, very good service and delicious food. They have a special menu during world cup. Burgers are delicious and fries are crunchy and well served. Draught beers were delicious too. It was a very nice place to watch the game, very comfortable. We were in 4 (2 adults, 1 teenager, 1 child) and we would go back for sure.
