Neat bar in downtown Brooklyn: The atmosphere is pretty cool, I liked the decor quite a bit, nifty pop culture paintings and themed bar menu. Staff was pretty nice, particularly a host. The happy hour menu is pretty nice, food is quite good for a bar. The cocktail menu is nifty, some unique drinks based on a pop media characters. Visited Grand Army this past weekend. Highly recommend making a reservation if you decide to go. Even though it was full, the noise level wasn’t uncomfortable at any point and I was able to easily carry a conversation. All the bites came out quickly and they were solid. The drinks were really the star of our time, because they were just that good. I will be back and trying all the things I didn’t get to!
Had a great time (as per usual) at Grand Army for Friday happy hour. It was pretty packed, but we were able to nab one of the last open tables. Our server was very helpful and attentive. Drinks were great and had the coolest shaped ice cubes! The oysters were also phenomenal, as was the truffle dog. Great spot!
