Ba Xuyên isn’t my #1 banh mi (probably top 5) but I think it has my favorite bread—crispy without destroying your mouth and soft inside. I ordered the #1 combination for $8. I came here because of the queen Ayana. The place is quite crowded with around 4-5 little tables. The food is really fresh, they have good mangos. The service was okay, not the best for being such a small place. The store was pretty clean.

Best hot pot ever! The broth is not overly seasoned like every other hot pot place. They still have a sauce station if you want to add more seasoning. The coconut chicken broth was tasty, with a balance of sweet and salty notes. The amount of chicken that comes with the broth is a generous amount, and I enjoyed the mixed vegetables, especially the pumpkin squash. The grass fish fillets were also delicious, marinated with some lemon flavor.

Jet lagged from an international trip i came to eat here at around 1am. They close super late which is a plus, especially during the winter and you're craving some nice warm pho. The late night server was awesome, super friendly and even gave me drinks on the house. This is my go to spot for those late night eats. As of 6/2025 they close around 2-3am.

This is one of my favorite lunch spots, great pho and bahn mi and portions are large. I’d say this is the best in the Tribeca/ city hall area. It’s a bit pricey as I end up paying about $17-18 for a pho but kinda typical for the area (unfortunately).They’re also very quick and do pickup if you need. There’s seating but you face a wall, but it works for a busy lunch spot.

I had the Sukuti Thali at Laliguras Restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were authentic and reminded me of traditional Nepali home-cooked food. This place is beautiful awesome playlist. I went on a Sunday and there was plenty of parking but I am sure it would be more difficult on a weekday until after 6pm when street parking becomes available. The burger and fries very solid, the el mensajero drink was excellent, I had some toast with ricotta, honey and almonds that was really good as well. Quick service and can see that the food looks fresh. I have been here many times before and the food is filling where you can customize your bowl. Not to be dramatic but Banh is so so so good. Genuinely everything I’ve tried on the menu has been really incredible and the flavors are executed so well and with so much depth. In particular I really really recommend the Com Tam (Special Combination broken rice) as well as the BBQ Pork Banh Mi (it is genuinely delightfully smoky).
