The restaurant has a clean and cozy environment, and the staff are very friendly and attentive. The food tastes great, portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. Overall, a very satisfying experience — I’ll definitely come back again!

Simple counter-service venue offering Chinese standards such as egg rolls, lo mein & sesame chicken.
This is a cash-only, take-out and ever since they ended dine-in service, the former dining room is dim-lit and empty, giving entrance the charm of a warehouse loading dock. However, there is a good reason why this rather plain looking take-out restaurant is still here after so many years. The service is friendly, the food is well prepared, the crispy items are crispy, and the food portions are excellent. We're never disappointed.

Amazing handmade dumplings. The two old grandma's behind the counter are very nice, but like most flushing establishments there is no service and frankly there does not need to be. You are here to eat good food and that is it. I got the fried dumplings and holy crap were they good.

Do NOT purchase food from this Chinese place! Found a hair in my food and called to get a refund and they asked for the food to be returned after letting the manager know, I won’t be in the area by the time the delivery driver gets back. He let me know. The only way I could was to come by the store physically and receive a refund The whole reason I ordered for delivery was because I have a broken foot and I am not able to climb up and down the stairs as easily, and I explained this to him over t

I am usually nearby so when I'm not in the mood to walk down to the heart of 8th Avenue for more popular spots/options then I have ordered from Taste Good a few times. Each time in person or on the phone the older female manager/owner is harsh and gives attitude when taking a order. Worse when in person picking up my orders. One time I walked in and she is at the rear table sitting then she just looks at me so I say that I'm picking up a phone order. I see a bag on the rear table, the woma

Unassuming, quick-serve eatery with a menu of Chinese staples such as lo mein & sesame chicken.
I was staying around the corner and tried this place out. I ate there again. It’s classic American Chinese food, everything tasted excellent and could taste some fresh ingredients. And the beef w mushrooms was a good portion of beef w fresh veggies and mushrooms. Great soups too.

New Peking Restaurant located at 1137 Washington Avenue in East Flatbush area of Brooklyn is truly one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in New York City. Every visit reminds me why I keep coming back to NY. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. Each dish arrives hot, beautifully presented, and packed with rich, authentic taste that keeps you wanting another bite. The flavors are clean, crisp, and perfectly balanced. From the savory entrées to the delicious sides,

⭐ Review: Worst experience I’ve had in a while. The pork fried rice was undercooked and hard, the chicken wings tasted old, and the chicken lo mein was completely bland and overcooked. I called to report it, and the manager did absolutely nothing. I didn’t ask for a refund because that should be basic customer service. The lack of accountability is unacceptable. I won’t be ordering again!

I just went there. They are really sheisty. I just went there they tried to charge me tax on my food which was already over priced. I have never ever been charged tax in a Chinese takeout in Brooklyn. The lady before left angry because to get a free CAN of soda you have to spend 25$ now instead of 20$. The food is decent but the service is horrible

Ordered a shrimp Chow Mein but the dish only had vegetables and shrimp. No noodles what so ever. When we called to ask they said this is how it is made. Waste of money and liars. How can a noodle dish NOT have any noodles. My guess is that they are too lazy to redo it because of their mistake. Stay away from this place!!!

Over the years, this place was never my first choice for Chinese food. That title went to Wing Wah, my go-to Chinese spot until a few months ago when it suddenly closed down. I only went to this spot a few times over the past few years, usually whenever Wing Wah was closed for whatever reason. Most recently, I came here as this was the closest Chinese food available and man I haven't been here in years. For starters, the place was a lot dirtier/messier looking than I remembered, easily being the

The restaurant is small, with about ten tables. You order and pay at the counter, and the food is brought to your table. Service is minimal since it operates more like a takeout spot where you can also dine in. We tried the Curry Combo, Baked Pork Chop with Curry over Rice, Baked Fish & Sweet Corn with White Sauce over Rice, and Beef Brisket Noodle Soup. The Curry Combo was tasty though a bit light on ingredients; the Pork Chop with Curry had a rich, flavorful sauce and was very tender; the Bake

I ate my chicken and just the top of my lo mein, there was no beef in the top parts from where I ate not one little strip. So I said it all in the bottom. So the next afternoon I went to eat the rest of the lo mein and found there was no beef there either I was like what the hell so I called the restaurant because I didn't want to leave a bad review. The staff and delivery driver and very nasty and racist towards black people. Their delivery driver arrived to deliver my food and upon me going to meet him to pay for my order, he sped off without saying a word the moment he saw me. Their reasoning seems to be that their delivery driver goes around delivering food while fearing for his safety so apparently a black man wearing a hood in the rain and cash in his hand is enough for him to be scared and the for the restaurant to deny me their servi

King Wok 2/26/26 Absolutely disgusting experience. I ordered E3 Beef Fried Rice, Beef & Broccoli, Chicken Wings, Spare Rib Tips (which NEVER came), Egg Drop Soup, and it was supposed to include 2 egg rolls. $36.00 completely wasted. The food tasted OLD. Stale. Like it had been reheated over and over again. Ordered a teriyaki beef stick and and egg roll from here one time, and there was so much grease it caused the bag to break apart. However, one dish I honestly did like was the 'noodles with meat sauce' -- more traditionally known as Zha Jiang Mian, or Home Style Meat Sauce Noodle. It's my personal favorite and the first thing I look for on every Chinese menu -- this particular version was passable, but as it's the only Chinese restaurant offering it in this area, "beggars can't be choosers." Honestly the food was good but they had NOTHING from the stuffs I was trying to order. Also they so call "lunch specials" are a rip off because they didn't come with a drink or an egg roll. Food prices didnt really match up the grand total which was 48 dollars. I'm very disappointed in this place. Prices here in the south bronx are outrageous but the portions have been reduced. Not going there again. But the food I have no complains other than the beef broccoli only had a few pieces of beef.

Food is good. They use real chicken. I saw them myself, cutting and slicing the chicken right in eye shot. I added photos. The boneless spare ribs are delicious, and dry but if you like them drenched in barbecue sauce they do provide at no extra cost. The prices are decent. The prices have tax included. The noodles are so good. I keep coming back for more. The servers speak very limited English so there's a clear communication barrier, which can be overcome by paying attention and pointing at the signs. The prices are great. The place could use a fresh coat of paint, but they have an A and their track record with the department of sanitation seems good.

Not feeling the way this restaurant put a small portion of chicken into the container and filled it up with uncooked broccoli and lemon slices. I just don't get why I paid almost 30 dollars for 2 pieces of chicken cut in half? Last time I'm spending money with this restaurant I really used to enjoy this place too bad no more overpriced overrated food.

The restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They prepare Chinese cuisine and is a takeout with several tables for dining in. I ordered the shrimp and lobster sauce. The shrimp were a nice size. The sauce was very plain and had no meat with several mushrooms. The chicken chow fun had little flavor or taste. The roast pork fried rice was yellow rice with a few specks of roast pork. The wonton soup had little flavor with no meat or vegetables. The dim sum were small. T

This is the best around the Norwood area. The egg rolls aren't super greasy and meat and veggies are fresh. Changing the oil in the fryer, something so simple can really change how food tastes. They are doing well and it's the only place I order from 😋

I stayed at the Hampton Inn JFK, where I found this restaurant’s brochure. I called to place a delivery order. The phone attendant’s had a difficult time speaking and understanding English, but seemed to understand my order once I named the dishes. Delivery was quick, and at first the food tasted fine. However, less than 8 hours later I became violently ill. I experienced severe vomiting (to the point of seeing blood), intense diarrhea, abdominal pain, chills, muscle aches, and nausea. My frien

The Fish Maw Egg Custard, Crispy Chicken, and Pan-Fried Noodles (Liang Mian Huang) were quite good. The Broccoli with Shrimp Balls was okay, though the broccoli lacked flavor. The vegetables felt a bit tough. As for service, it was standard but prone to errors; they missed an item on our order and forgot to hand over our takeout bag. The price-to-portion ratio is reasonable, making it an acceptable value overall.

*Rated on Take-Out* Get your Chinese food elsewhere folks really. Needed comfort foot because I am feeling under the weather. Ordered the large Wonton Egg Drop Soup, Chicken Wings & Fried Wontons. ALL had no flavor, but let’s start with the fried wontons. They were still a fairly light color, soggy, but I could tell even though they were in a container with no poked holes, they weren’t fried very long. I had to put them in the air fryer for 10 minutes to get them crispy and somewhat browned. I
