What a FANTASTIC cup of joe! Little would I have known that this is a gem in New York City located in Washington heights. What a fantastic cup of coffee i had. Fantastic service and an overall world class overall. It has been a while since I had a good cup of coffee and this location is now my new favorite. I recommend to everyone in all of New York City and out of New York City to try this amazing spot.

Connecticut Muffin is a good spot whenever I’m in the neighborhood. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming — perfect for a solo coffee break or catching up with a friend. Their muffins are truly the star of the show (the banana chocolate chip is a personal favorite), but everything I’ve tried has been fresh and tasty.

Excellent and milk teas on offer and customization options. I love the option to have no sugar and hot bubble tea. Docked one star because there are always about four or five tapioca pearls that are still raw in the middle.

I’m not entirely sure what I expected walking into this place, but they surpassed any expectation. Latte was delicious at a reasonable price, their clothes are obviously high quality with great design, and the atmosphere was everything. After spending the past two years without access to my motorcycle, it was a breath of fresh air to sit on that couch nestled between two amazing bikes. This is every biker’s happy space.

This Blue Bottle Coffee location is small and intimate but has a great vibe. The drinks were excellent (we had the cappuccino, the chai latte, and the matcha latte). The almond croissant was large and rich but wasn't the best we've had. Nonetheless, great experience!

Had a lovely morning tea at Paquita! The space is quaint and fields a little bit like a Victorian time capsule. The tea is priced extremely fairly and it seems like so much pair has been put into every utensil and cup. I had a pot of the mint chai, with a side of milk and honey, and it was delicious! I decided to try a new coffee spot today and walked into Tenpa’s. I ordered a 16oz iced latte with almond milk and raspberry flavoring. Blank Street Coffee – 4 Stars Stopped by Blank Street Coffee and ordered a cortado. It was solid—smooth, balanced, and nicely made. The coffee had good flavor and wasn’t overly bitter. Service was quick and the process was easy. Overall a good spot for a quick coffee stop.

Just went to Mirror in the Woods for the second time since moving to the neighborhood, and it didn’t disappoint. The space is intimate and cozy, perfect for cold weather, with an excellent selection of fresh teas. The matcha white hot chocolate was outstanding, and we loved the tofu and mushroom entrée along with the avocado mochi bites. Beautiful presentation all around — truly 10/10. I ordered the fresh strawberry milk with tapioca in regular size, which came out to about $9 USD. This is definitely on the pricier side, however, the flavour of the drink was pretty decent; it met my expectations. The tapioca was also soft and chewy, so I have no complaints. The seating area is nice to hang around, have a coffee chat with friends, or just relax.

The staff are never at the counter. I always order ahead almost 10 mins before reaching there and they never have my order ready. They never have the donuts I order and don't bother to update it in the app. The people there have no decorum and my matcha once came in completely unmixed and with lumps. Such a delicious cake. We got the classic trisome as a birthday cake and could not have loved it more. The cake is like the perfect ice cream cake texture. Velvety from the white cashew cream layer, tart from the berries, and sweet from the dates. The handwriting on the cake was the cherry on top as it was so pretty! I'm surprised by the low reviews for Tiger Sugar because I had no issues with the amount of ice, the portion of toppings, or the quality of the drink. The coffee is my favorite—strong and flavorful.
