I would give 6 stars if I could. No need to fly to Italy, you got it right here in NY. Best tasting pizza and Caesar salad. Tiramisu was the best one I've ever tasted. The guys at the counter were so friendly and nice. Would definitely come back again .

I’ve been to damn near every pizza joint in NYC.. this one really took me by surprise. We were enamoured by the red outdoor seating, which led us to walk up and chat with the owner. We ended up getting the Hawaiian pizza.. and wow.. it really hits every single taste bud available within your mouth. The service, and speed of service was outstanding. I would have had a picture of the good, but we demolished it within seconds. Will be back next time I dj at summer club NYC.

Ordered delivery. Wish I could leave a higher review but I ordered 3 items and only one was excellent, the Philly Cheesesteak. Delicious. Not so great was the chicken shrimp and broccoli with garlic and oil dish. I selected rigatoni pasta as the side option. Ordered from Mela Pizza for the final NBA game last night – cheese and pepperoni pies plus garlic knots. Within minutes of placing the order, they called to let me know they had run out of pepperoni – at 5 PM on a major game night, which was surprising. I switched to buffalo chicken and moved on. When the delivery arrived, the garlic knots were missing – a disappointing surprise, though to their credit, a refund was issued without a fuss. I ordered from this pizzeria often. I'm highly upset about them sending me a burnt beef patty. He said maybe the delivery guy did it. Excuse me, did he burn it? He didn't apologize or anything even if you are busy and you burn something don't send that food to your customers. Remake it! Time to find a new spot.

Heard a Pizza Hut was opening close to my brothers place so I had to go get some, been a childhood memory (over 20 years since I last tried it. Personally was not a fan. Tasted like the pizza from the places where you can get a 2 slices of plain pizza for $1.50 but for $10. The crust was thin and burnt; it just tasted like cheese and tomato sauce on a cracker. The employees were nice but then seemed to be annoyed when I didn’t tip (I’m not tipping when I’m ordering take out and picking up the food myself). The one positive thing I will say is that they were fast.

Let me tell you something. When you want a classic NYC Slice, this is the place to go. Everyone wants a well done pie with no flop. This pizza is not that. It’s everything you dream of when you think of a slice. Sauce is kind of sweet and really generous on the cheese. Mozzarella sticks were fresh and the sauce was amazing as well. Not to mention when I picked up my order, the people there were so friendly and it seemed like a family run business which I will always support again and again.

It's has an A rating, so I decided to try it. The pizza was not that great. It had more sauce than cheese. Some people may like it that way but I don't. The sauce tasted like a cheap supermarket sauce. The man didn't let the slice get hot, so I had to re-heat it at home. This area doesn't have the greatest tasting pizza. But it's only 1 pizza shop on 167th. St. That I like better than the others. So I'll stick with that one, when I'm on 167th.

I have been going here for years. The pizza has lots of variety and tastes great. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, having done multiple favors for me before such as giving me a free slice when I accidentally dropped one before.

This place is nice. just like any other dominos pizza. when i went in to pickup my order i felt so bad when i only saw ONE PERSON in the place. it must be so hard being in charge of the entire restaurant on your own. other than that my food was great it took about 45 minutes for me to receive it.

I don’t know how it is in person to go pick up your pizza but oh my god do they know how to make the yummiest stuffed crunch crust pepperoni pizza. This is my second time ordering and yeah they didn’t give me my first order correct but the cheese pizza was good as hell! I used delivery both times and my food was still warm. They’re also not stingy with the toppings at all so there’s always flavor. Will definitely continue ordering from this place!

Penne pasta had a METAL SCREW in it, please see photo attached. I called to explain and was told I can only get a credit and they can make a new order. It was only until I stated I will report to Staten Island advance that I was granted a refund. The guy on the phone had assumed I was lying and told me “enjoy your free meal”. That’s not very great customer service. I would never get food from here again.

I ordered a pizza for pick-up, and it was ready within 15 minutes. I got a small pizza with original crust, topped with grilled chicken, mushrooms, black olives, and pineapple - it totally hit the spot. Honestly the most consistently good slice of pizza on the West side of Broadway and 181. They never fail me. I always come here when I want a regular, classic slice of NY pizza. It isn’t a place I’d go out the way to get or anything. But it’s a reliable and great slice place if you live nearby.

This place has authentic New York style pizza. If you’re in the neighborhood, do yourself a favor and stop by! The flavor is fantastic. I walked in and saw the guy making fresh dough from scratch after pulling a pie outta the oven. I recommend the Nonna slice, the sauce is rich yet perfectly balanced. We skipped all the touristy pizza shops and stopped at Little Italy a couple times during our trip. I fell in love with the crispy crust, melty cheese and variety of toppings. Easy to miss. I’ve walked by so many times trying to avoid the traffic in that area specifically. For the no frills prices it’s great. Quality as expected at the price point. Staff is friendly. Good stuff. If you factor in actual location atmosphere I would rate this at high 3 but price for being a pizza spot anyone can afford here deserves at least a 4. I visited five local restaurants and finally settled on La Citta to cater a retirement party for a teacher at our local middle school. The reason? Because Mark and Youssef were so professional, caring and kind.
