Classic & specialty pies from a coal-fired oven in a modern space by pizza legend Patsy Grimaldi.
We have been eating at Juliana in Brooklyn for over a decade and it is still the best pizza in our view. They still have the original hand crafted brick oven for their pizza. Their pizzas come out piping hot with creamy cheese and crispy thin crust. The meatballs are tender and flavorful. The cream soda was smooth and refreshing. They also offer good selection of wines to pair it with pizza. Their service is fast and friendly

Shake Shack Dumbo is a must-visit spot in Brooklyn, offering elevated American classics with a view. The ShackBurger is a highlight, with juicy, slightly spicy meat and a perfect smoky taste. The classic hotdog is also a standout, soft and tasty. The staff is consistently kind, friendly, and attentive, even during busy hours. The location is unbeatable, with an open view of the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan skyline. It's a great spot to grab a bite and take in the sights. However, some reviewer

Came here with my partner for a meal, and we were so impressed from start to finish. The vibe is lovely, but the food and hospitality are what really set this place apart. Our server, Suzie, was absolutely fantastic—so incredibly welcoming, attentive, and friendly. She made us feel right at home the second we sat down. As for the food, everything was stunningly flavorful and beautifully presented. The Khao Soi is incredibly rich and creamy, with the perfect balance of savory depth and texture

So delicious! The taboon was amazing. So fresh! Ordered the pistachio cheese flatbread and ouzi lamb. Both were excellent. The Ouzi rice was well seasoned and super flavorful and lamb was falling is the bone tender. Finished with the tahini booza and Arabian coffee. Very satisfying!

Small-batch ice cream made in-house & scooped in an ex-fireboat house with Manhattan skyline views.
This spot usually has lines wrapping around with customers eager to grab their ice cream and go, so I already had high expectations. Over the weekend, my mom and I—slightly buzzed and definitely overstuffed from pizza at Time Out Market—decided the only logical next step was ice cream. That’s when we spotted BK Ice Cream Factory. We ordered two scoops: cherry chocolate chip and classic chocolate. Out of the two, the clear winner for us was the chocolate—rich, creamy, and exactly what we were c

Horrible experience at 11:00pm. I had to wait 36 minutes for my food. Apart from the long wait, the fries were stale and overcooked, to the point where they were rock hard. The nuggets were from hours ago based on the texture. I asked for no Mayo on my McChicken and they did my order wrong. Food was cold

Greek & American comfort food in a casual, neighborhood diner setting that buzzes at breakfast.
One of the best places around for a casual, inexpensive (for NYC) breakfast or lunch. They have a large selection to cater to everyone’s taste. Don’t be scared to wait for a table. I have been there a couple of times and enjoyed it both times. I recommend it.

Humble cafe offering a diverse coffee bean menu, plus croissants and homemade snacks.
We’ve visited % Arabica Dumbo several times, and it’s consistently a lovely place to enjoy coffee. The café is bright, spacious, and beautifully designed. The Kyoto Latte is excellent—smooth, well-balanced, and always a highlight. The Americano is also quite good. As a Japanese brand, the attention to detail and coffee quality really shows. Thin-crust, brick-oven pizza with a gluten-free option, plus tap beers in an airy, minimalist space.
This is our very favorite local pizza place! This thin-crust pizza is always made fresh, slightly charred on the edges in the wood-fired oven, and the toppings are generous and delicious. Our favorite meal starts with their avocado salad (with oranges, red onion, spinach, cherry tomatoes in a luscious lemon vinaigrette) and the salsiccia (sausage & mushroom) pizza. We usually get wine (they have a number of wines available by the glass) but they have added some specialty cocktails, including a

Eric was the best server! He listened to our questions, was patient, kind and efficient. I asked him for the cod dumplings and then he asked if I wanted it steamed or pan fried. I asked him what he recommended and he highly recommended pan fried. Every single it’s we tried was amazing, we had the cucumber salad and it was savory, came out in like 2 minutes. These pastries were incredibly good. We didn’t have too much of a long line but we waited around 10 minutes. Thai fare & popular lunch specials in a brick-lined space warmly lit with hanging lanterns.
To my surprise, I have never encountered subpar Thai cuisine until my recent visit. Despite having dined at over a dozen Thai restaurants, this particular establishment fell short of my expectations. The coconut shrimp was notably unappetizing, the vegetable rolls lacked flavor, and my entree was mediocre. Regrettably, my husband’s curry was devoid of any discernible taste.

We walked into Heights Falafel hungry and cold on a winter night, and it was exactly what we needed. It’s a small, intimate spot with very kind people working there. The food was delicious and served quickly while still tasting fresh. Such a cozy, satisfying meal and a spot I’d happily go back to.

Had such an incredible meal here a couple weeks ago and still thinking about it. Service was fantastic and the atmosphere was lovely, the right ambiance for any kind of dinner. Food was outstanding. The standout for me was the miso baba ghanoush, I haven't gotten over it yet. Outrageous and hit so many taste buds in perfect harmony. Pitas are to die for, so soft and tender and yummy. Other dishes worth noting: short rib hummus, falafel gougeres, duck fat potatoes, lamb shank shawarma. We ordered

I was underwhelmed by my dish as it was very oily and I could only eat half. The garlic sauce was also very sweet. My husband liked his dish but agreed the lo mein was oily. Laid-back eatery serving classic French bistro fare & creative cocktails in snug, brick-walled digs.
They roped me in when I saw foie gras on the menu. It was so good that I had to go back a second night for another portion. Had the snails, short ribs, duck, and salmon. All were perfectly cooked. Don’t forget the dessert. For me crème brûlée or, if you are into chocolate, the mousse. Certainly leave room for dessert Wish they had a better, more extensive wine list but they did have some good French champagne at a reasonable price. Definitely worth the price of admission. Make a reservation.

Wash down comforting pub grub like pot pies & burgers with micro brews in a casual setting.
Hands down one of the most satisfying fried chicken sandwiches you can find in Brooklyn. The chicken is perfectly crisp with a light, crunchy coating that never feels heavy. What really stands out is the consistency. I have been ordering from here for years and the quality has never dropped, even after I moved farther away. It is the kind of place you keep coming back to because you know exactly how good it will be every single time.

2/14/2026 – Would we come back? Absolutely. Food • Lentil Soup – 7.5/10: Smooth and fresh, could use a bit more flavor. • Mozzarella Sticks – 9/10: Perfectly crispy. • Pita Bread – 10/10: Great alone or with dips; loved the crunch. • Chicken Shawarma – 10/10: Seasoned beautifully. Even the salad that had tomatoes (which I normally avoid) were delicious. The rice gave halal-cart vibes in the best way. • Lamb Chops – 8.5/10: Initially undercooked, but George fixed it immediately. Came back flavor

I loved Honeygrow so much I went three times during a 5 day stay in Brooklyn Heights! The sesame noodle shrimp salad was SO good, fresh, large portion with plenty of shrimp, and affordable! First time trying this place and my expectations were greatly exceeded. The garlic naan was fluffy and actually had a garlic taste unlike many other places. The butter chicken was nice and creamy. I took a walk by the promenade and wanted a quick bite afterwards and I was surprised at how delicious everything was. Their biscuit was so buttery and crumbly. I was most happy with the fried chicken sandwich. Few places use a breast correctly and this was perfectly cooked and seasoned. And thank goodness because nothing is worse than unseasoned fried chicken. It came with fries, and I was looking at it disapprovingly because of how thick it was, but again, perfectly seasoned. We randomly stopped in during a trip to Brooklyn. Did not read any reviews prior. I thought it was tasty. I probably woul give it more of a 4.5. We had quick service and our server was nice. I had a tasty burger (forgot to take a pic before I started eating) and the fries were good. My sister ordered the French toast and she said that was really good. Stumbled upon this cozy and delightful resto. Got one of the lunch specials - a Banh Mi roasted pork sandwich and mint tea. Perfect on a blustery fall day. Every yummy sandwich starts with good bread and theirs is freshly baked and slightly crusty and holds up to the meat and veggies in between. They don’t hold back either. Montero sits near Pier 6, slightly removed from the busier parts of the neighborhood, and feels very much like a classic neighborhood watering hole. It has the feel of a place that has been around for a long time, likely family-run, and built on regulars and familiarity. I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon.
