My friend and I came after 10 on a Saturday. It said here that it closes at 11 so we thought we'd be good. But when we got there chairs were up and etc. They still accommodated with rice and chicken even tho he wanted something more exotic. The boys working there were kind of annoyed but they provided and we ate quick and left. I have to try to be there earlier next time

Upon my first visit, (which was unplanned but well-worth it); I noticed that the staff here are very kind and friendly. They work fluidly together and always make patrons feel respected. The wait time is perfect. They have a ramp and they don't rush anyone away with "let me wipe this up" tactics. People-friendly. The food was very good, especially affordable. The worst experience I have with my food 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ No chicken al pastor,no pico de gallo,sour cream frozen,no cheese ,no lettuce 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️and the dining area was nasty. It's has an A rating, so I decided to try it. The pizza was not that great. It had more sauce than cheese. Some people may like it that way but I don't. The sauce tasted like a cheap supermarket sauce. The man didn't let the slice get hot, so I had to re-heat it at home. This area doesn't have the greatest tasting pizza. Compared to other fried chicken joints this one is pretty good. The chicken was fried to perfection with the right amount of crispiness. It also warms up well. At first I didn't like the biscuits but they also warmed up well and tasted much better ths next day. They were moist and buttery. The corn in the cob was juicy. The beef patties were not good. The food is very good, but the times I've been there the staff hasn't been friendly at all. They're grumpy, and no matter how nicely you speak to them, they seem bored. It doesn't feel right to be treated like a customer who's just there to buy a service or product, and then be made to feel like you're bothering them or asking for something.

The strawberries were very fresh, the chocolate wasn’t too sweet and felt velvety smooth, the pistachio cream balanced out the taste, and the shredded phyllo dough gave an excellent crunch. I love this place. My little sister frequents this place after school dismissal. Its within walking distance from 161st street and The Yankee Stadium. The Gateway Mall is just a block after the Yankee Stadium as Well. Fresh food and great employees.

If you're looking for some of the best Dominican food in the US, it's here - down a few steps, in this pool hall. Everything was delicious, and I absolutely loved the habichuelas (beans). The gallina was tender to the point it was falling off the bone, and the rice was fluffy and full of flavor. This is truly a place where you can taste the love.
