I love eating hot dogs 🌭, but I usually hold back for weight control reasons. However, coming to this iconic place, I finally gave in. The all-beef wiener was a big plus for me. It was easy to see why this establishment is so popular. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.... eating, taking pictures, and soaking in the beach breeze and sunny weather. The world in general is a rough place, and Brooklyn is just as rough. But it’s made all the better by the likes of Gargiulo’s. I had their Caesar salad and risotto. And to put it simply, it was all authentic in an age of authenticity. And our server was also a really cool cat. I don’t know if I’ll ever end up in Coney Island again, but if I do, I wouldn’t mind making another trip to Gargiulo’s for some authentic Italian food and friendly service.

Ordered Uber Eats from Footprints Cafe on a cold rainy day when I didn’t feel like cooking. The Caribbean salad was honestly the best part. It was fresh, & the avocado, pineapple, and mango made it really tasty. I did order Italian dressing, but they gave me French instead. The food is good but I would be careful eating from here. I just saw workers coughing into their hands and scratching their head. All behind the counter, next to the food. Btw, those are the same people who will fix your plate. They also change the prices on a whim and are rude when you ask about it. They had a small lunch special plate for around 6/7 dollars. Now, it’s $11.70. For rice and beans? Yeah, ok. 🤦🏾‍♀️

Best pizza in Coney Island no questions asked ! My childhood pizza spot and remains to be. I always order to go and never had an issue. The grandma slice, actually all the square slices are special ! Buffalo chicken and pepperoni roll are also my favorites. Only thing to be aware is : There is no bathroom here Not that many tables No music playing 9/10❤️

I found mold on my wontons inside soup and when confronted they said it was scallion but the mold was turquoise spots & I put scallion to the side so they can see it was not. Atmosphere? Well you have smokers in and out so dine in isn’t recommended.

The employees here have to deal with a lot. Let the fact that DD and T-Mobile are the only stores open this side of the street tell you something. The Popeye's next door is closed, the halal food spot is closed and even the large drug store is closed. I'm happy DD is still holding it down but for how much longer? I only get the iced coffee here and it's always on point but my order is simple. Some of these orders customers have are ridiculous.

Order was delivered to my door compared to other times which it was a surprise and I LOVED that! , there was an issue with my order today and I called the store and it was fixed thank you so much, everything I order was delicious. Give this location a chance is not easy to find good employees.

First of all the food taste awful. I got the burned rice and the taste was horrible. I had to throw out most of it. Chicken fry was moderate. Not that much good. Behavior of the staff was nice. There is no dine in there. You have to take out the food. The shop itself is very small. Trying the other options would be recommended.

The fried chicken is good, the fries are good, but holy moly the mashed potatoes were abysmal. Dry, horrendous texture like clay, it tasted like nothing, and the gravy also tasted like nothing. No family member got past a bite. Garbage.

I absolutely adore this place. I’ll go on record to say it’s the staple that holds Coney Island together. They have an amazing team that is always ready to accommodate you and treat you with hospitality. I have NEVER received bad service here. I’ve spent some of my BEST spring/summer nights stopping in here. What I love most about Pete’s is the ambiance. The simplicity amazes me year after year. There’s “no self-serve kiosks” or menus on a TV screen, everything is real, personable and authentic.

DISGUSTING!!! This is what you're being served as a customer. Moldy cheese… mind you this is mozzarella cheese (which isn't supposed to be any color but white). I drive back to this establishment and the boss/cook decides to defend the moldy cheese on the sandwich instead of taking accountability that he served someone spoiled food. This is also located right next to a hospital (you would think they would take extra precaution when preparing food). UNACCEPTABLE, NEVER AGAIN!!!

Great service, the bagels 🥯 are fresh. Hidden bagel store in Coney Island. I’ve heard about this bagel store about half a year ago from locals finally got a chance to try it. Bagels have different flavors jalapeños cheese, Parmesan mozzarella bagel. Those special flavors bagels caught my attention. I bought their daily commuter special a coffee and plain bagel with butter for $3.50 and 7 bagels to go, got to try their special flavors. The atmosphere decor is not the ordinary bagel deli store.

I was in the neighborhood and decided to grab some Chinese food from Famous Rotisserie and Grill. I ordered General Tso’s chicken, hot and sour soup, and chicken mei fun. Unfortunately, the General Tso’s chicken was overcooked and had a strange taste (besides just being burnt), and the rice that came with it was pretty dry. I don't understand some of the negative reviews this place has gotten. This restaurant is pretty decent to get a quick bite to eat, even though their menu is a bit limited. I ordered the tavern burger, and it tasted good. The only critique would be that the fries were cooked a little too well done for my taste. Really good pizza! Thin and crispy with good crust. Multiple bag of flour and mixer in sight as all doe is made fresh daily.

Oriental Palace Kitchen is hands down the cleanest Chinese restaurant in the area! Out of all the nearby spots, this is the only place where I feel completely comfortable dining. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, and well-prepared. It’s a relief to find a place where quality and cleanliness go hand in hand. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food and a clean atmosphere!

The location is perfect. Service was OK. The tables were filthy so I had to go up to the register and ask the man to wet a cloth to give me and I had to wash down my own table. They have two bathrooms. One is a family size and the other one is a standard size. The food was great! I ordered the bang bang shrimp and my best friend ordered the steak tacos. The food chicken was mad small, I went to alot of popeyes places and this store I saw the smallest fried chickens. The sauces also cost more money and their services and food amount or very poor. There is no refill and YOU CANT EVEN USE THE BATHROOM. Do not ever come here if ur looking for a good place to dine in or EVEN order here.
