Came here Saturday afternoon on my way to visit my mother who was sick and got the large sancocho soup with rice on side for $20 to go. My mom enjoyed said they put smoked meat and flavor was good. Made her feel better. Wait time was short. Happy customer would buy again from here.

International dishes offered in a roomy, lively destination offering outdoor seating.
I had been wanting to come to this restaurant for so long and the opportunity arose to see one of my favorite comedians there so I took it. So excited to then be so disappointed. My mother purchased tickets for the event but I noticed that there was no seating information so I called the event coordinator early that morning, I live upstate NY so I have to plan my day accordingly, only to be told to contact him after 10am to make sure the event was happening, no problem, did that and no response

Casual American cafe with an Island vibe, outdoor seats & 75,000 sq. ft. of scenic waterfront.
Went here for the first time , for The Dominican Que lo Que party! The vibes were out of this world, good service. Only suggestion is to add a ATM MACHINE or have a CREDIT CARD machine to charge customes . Had to walk 3 blocks down just to get cash, that was the only downfall

The food was absolutely fantastic. ( chicken burrito my favorite) Every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. The staff ( Maria , Luis , Joan and margarita) were very attentive without being overwhelming. The restaurant’s cozy ambiance made the experience even better. I’ll definitely continue coming to this place.

Horrible horrible food. The food has no flavor and who does chicken and waffle with chicken tenders ? Rather than fried chicken. The Dj was ehhh until later on. Highly overpriced for poor food and service! They charge for everything even to breathe. They do a mandatory coat check at the door which shouldn’t be like that. They charge $10 for coat check and if you want to keep your coat/jacket on they charge you $20! Why am I paying to take my own jacket/coat. I told the waitress that I suffer fro

Cool vibe of a place. A couple friends and I went for a late brunch and it was good at first with mimosas and good music. Once our orders were placed they told us we may have to move because of a preexisting reservation however past 430 the place becomes more of a lounge. They told us we could find a seat at the bar but by the time we were finished eating but they were trying to get us to leave the table ASAP even though nobody had arrived Make sure to make reservations in advance

Reserved for my bday celebration with my girls. They require a payment to hold the reservation which I did. We got there and were seated right away. It was not busy. Only 5 tables including us. The waiter came over right away. The drinks were good. The appetizers were also good. We ordered the Branzino. Very good. The Filet and Porter house was not good at all. The porterhouse came out well and we ordered it medium. We sent it back. It came back and seems like it was old steak. I go to many stea

The conch ceviche (ceviche de concha) is amazing. The soup looks black but it tastes so good as a cold soup. People are super warm hearted. They keep on explaining “ crudo crudo” …

809 truly went above and beyond to make my mom’s 70th birthday unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the energy, warmth, and attention to detail were incredible. Jose and his staff treated my mom like the queen she is. They are so attentive, kind, and genuinely invested in making her feel special. Every detail was handled with care, from the setup to the service, and you could tell they took pride in creating a meaningful experience for our family. They didn’t just host a celebration, they

I been here couple of times and every time I have a good experience. The place is nice and clean, the food is good and the employees are nice and friendly. The only thing I will say is that looking for parking around here is a hassle. But luckily the restaurant is located right by the À train 207 stop👍 I recommend the restaurant 8/10

I love Dyckman Bar and Kitchen❤️ We are at their new location and it’s bigger and better than it was prior! Crystal was our server and she was amazing! Food was good and fresh! We love her so much and we would like to shout out the manager Electro who made sure we had everything we needed! Dj was litt and you will have an amazing time here! 10/10

Veteran Dominican restaurant doling out fried & rotisserie chicken in an unassuming space.
**Super crispy chicken and great Dominican vibes!** John’s Fried Chicken never misses. The chicken is always fresh, crispy, and full of flavor — you can tell it’s made to order every time. The place has that real Dominican feel, with great music, friendly people, and food that reminds you of home. Only downside is the small seating area — it can fill up quick. But honestly, the food makes up for it. Definitely one of those neighborhood spots you just keep coming back to!

This is a hidden gem. What they do, they do really good! The chicken is flavorful and crispy. The rice is done to perfection and you can’t beat the price point!!! If you are in the area this is a must try!! And I would make a drive to go here. Heart this if they have the best legs and thighs uptown!

This is THE BEST TAQUERIA in the East Village!! The tacos are FIRST CLASS AUTHENTIC all of the staff is SUPER NICE the and they are a great addition to Avenue B. Great neighbors to have and with Mexico winning the 1st game of the World Cup, the party is ON!!!

The food was great and the branch location is absolutely beautiful—very clean, modern, and inviting. Service was quick and efficient, which I really appreciated. The only downside was the portion size for the price. The $12 option was quite small compared to another Crepe House branch that offers more food for the same price. I think management should revisit the portion sizing to keep things consistent across locations. Other than that, everything was very good and I’d still recommend stoppin

Had a great time at Mama Taco! Went on a Friday night and it was so much fun! The music was fire and the food was even better! We had a couple of drinks and also tried the empanadas and tostaditas with chicken. The pickled onions definitely took it to the next level on these. We also had the shrimp tacos and the chimichanga and it was 10/10! This is definitely a spot you want to come for a chill night with friends, good drinks ans good music!

I had so much fun at La Catrina. Everyone on staff was so friendly, nice, and tentative. Not to mention hot!! Like everyone was attractive!! Any way! The food was delicious and made with quality ingredients I’m pretty sure I ate myself sick! The restaurant was gorgeous perfect for a brunch vibe when you wanna get lit and also when you want to party vibe with some good food. There was no waiting, and the food/drinks came out quick. The bartender was super friendly as well. I’d absolutely be back!

This right here is some of the best Mexican food you will get in the area, guaranteed. Currently eating a shrimp burrito as I type this and I just felt that I had to let anyone reading this know that it’s almost TOO good. Don’t let the grocery store exterior fool you, this place is top notch.
