This small Red Hook eatery features Korean-accented eats & a cozy back garden.
A pretty cool little pub-restaurant-hang-out spot in Red Hook, not far from the Louis Valentino, Jr. Park. It’s a large place, with a bar, indoor dining room, back outdoor dining area, and side dining area with a stage for performances. I came out on a Sunday while visiting friends in Brooklyn. The bands The Thing and Figure of Fun played, and there was a children’s craft area, and families hanging out. Good times! Had some Miller High Life and a chicken Caesar salad that really hit the spot.

Rustic counter-service choice featuring slow smoked meats, craft beer & live music on weekends
WHAT DO THEY DO TO THIS NACHO CHEESE DIP TO MAKE IT SO PERFECT?! It’s perfect. I’d never order this of my own will but my friend ordered it and what a great decision that was. The cornbread is great. All the meat is great. A 1/2 lb of meat per person is definitely enough, especially if you get 1-2 sides. This isn’t the cheapest spot. 2 sides and 2 1/2 lbs of meat was $75 (fed 2 people and was a lot of food). I LOVE that they have Stiegl! And they have special really great mugs for the radlers

Nautical-themed joint serving lobster rolls & other New England-style seafood plus cocktails.
I've had this place saved on my Google maps for a few years now, and finally went last weekend on Sunday. This place is a definite GEM! The service was immaculate, and attentive. The food was FANTASTIC, and the atmosphere was comfortable and warm. The lobster rolls are definitely worth the price! And their surf and turf is phenomenal as well. If you do mini golf at Shipwrecked, which isn't far from there, you can get a free clam chowder depending on your score I believe! Is definitely on the prc

Sandwich shop slinging huge heros stuffed with fried eggplant or chicken parmesan since the 1920s.
Nice day in Brooklyn. Went to Japan Village to walk around. Wasn't in the mood for Japanese food. IKEA was a planned destination but I didn't feel like swedish meatballs. Defontes!!!! I hadn't been there in a while. It was near lunch time so I want sure about the crowds. Usually it's packed on a Saturday lunch hour. Not today! Maybe people were out and about. Looked the wall of sandwich choices. Then it slapped me in the face. Chenzo 13 special. Prosciutto, sopressata, provolone, hot salad, broc

Classic American plates inspired by iconic NYC haunts are served in a warm, wood-accented space.
We came on the 4th of July and waited in line for about 20 minutes to put our name down. We were able to get a reservation at the bar for two about an hour after putting our names down. The drinks were great, I especially loved the Caffe Amaro, a very similar taste to an Espresso Martini. While everyone comes for the burger, I was truly blown away by everything else. The croquettes were phenomenal, the Dijonnaise it comes with is the perfect dipping sauce. The bacon slab on top of the wedge sa

Knickknack-adorned Red Hook saloon that's been around in one guise or another since the 1890s.
If I could give only one place 6 stars this would be the one I’d give it to. I absolutely love the atmosphere and “vibe” if you will. Every trip to Brooklyn we stop at Sunny’s. My favorite of course is the Bluegrass jam sessions that happen in the back….tough to hear if it’s packed but you can’t beat this place on a Saturday night or Sunday afternoon. Thanks Sunny’s!

Shipwreck Boozy Arcade was SUCH a vibe! The drinks were amazing, the indoor mini golf was so much fun, and the arcade games kept us entertained all night. We also did the escape room and it honestly made the experience even better super interactive and exciting. Perfect spot for date night, birthdays, or a fun night out with friends. Definitely a place worth checking

Airy eatery with a modern vibe & a rooftop terrace, serving brunch classics, pizza, pasta & fish.
Came here for Mother’s Day brunch and overall had a good experience. The rooftop atmosphere was really nice and the presentation of the food/drinks was beautiful. We ordered a variety of dishes and most of the food was good. The gnocchi had great flavor, although the pasta itself was a little chewy. The pizzas were probably our favorite part of the meal. Portions were a bit smaller than expected for the price though. Desserts unfortunately weren’t our favorite... we tried the lava cake and chee

5 stars to food, service and atmosphere!!!! Cozy and “moody.” They’ve got oldies playing with vibey lighting. I was really drawn by light fixtures at the bar and the overall design of the bar. Portions were perfectly sized, flavors were SPOT ON. Pictures really don’t do it justice but the brussel sprouts with arugula were really nice and cronchy. Beets tasted like a balanced appetizer dessert, not too sweet, the honey nor the Gorgonzola overpowered and the walnuts were a nice addition for textu

Classic recipes from all 4 regions of Thailand in a snug eatery featuring a leafy backyard patio.
My best friend chose this place and it was a slam dunk :) Highly recommend the khao soi gai - the chicken was so tender. I loved the coconut milk / curry and egg noodles. It was filling and delicious. The tumeric branzini was also incredible! A whole fish that has a slight crisp / crunch. Yummm. Don’t eat the dried spicy pepper like I did (it’s verrryy spicy Thai chili and I had to chug tons of ice water after). Overall amazing restaurant, with more unique dishes than your standard mom + pop T

Ordered the Chicken Parm on a Plate. It was exactly the kind of comforting, classic Italian-American food I was craving. The chicken was crispy on the outside and stayed tender inside, with plenty of melted mozzarella and a nice tomato sauce that wasn’t overly sweet. The portion was generous and super filling, and everything held up really well even eating it out of the takeout tray. If you’re in the neighborhood and want something warm, hearty, and satisfying (not just pizza), I’d definitely

Overall rating: 4.9 OMG DELISH. Very local bar which was very fun in Red Hook. Tacos were so good and the vibe was very chill. I think I also got a margarita that’s not pictured. Def will be back, the next time I’m in the area. Highly recommend!

Snug counter-serve spot delivering Jamaican & Caribbean fusion, plus made-to-order fish dishes.
Jam’It Bistro is the kind of neighborhood Caribbean spot that quietly overdelivers. The jerk chicken came out glossy, smoky, and properly charred, with that sticky sweet heat that keeps building bite after bite. Juicy all the way through, especially the dark meat, with rice and peas underneath soaking up every drop of sauce. The curry goat was the comfort-food standout — deeply seasoned, rich, and slow-cooked until tender, with a thick curry gravy that tasted like it had been simmering for hour

Overall rating: 4.8 I know there are so many breweries in the area, but this is a hidden gem! OMG the macaroni balls. You HAVE TO GET. It’s so surprisingly good & the wings were delicious as well. The service was so nice. I can’t tell if it’s on the menu, but definitely ask because it was that good. Definitely coming back, the next time in the area.

I'm writing this honest review for Too Good To Go. I understand that the food offered through the app is often leftover or surplus food, and that isn't an issue for me. I'm also not expecting a huge amount of food for the price. What I do expect is to be able to eat what I receive. The ribs I got were actually really good and flavorful. Unfortunately, the moro rice was extremely hard and inedible. Since the rice made up a large portion of the meal, it was disappointing that I couldn't eat it. I

As an American guy who likes supporting local spots, I decided to give this place a try and I’m glad I did. The food was fresh, flavorful, and made just right—everything tasted like it was prepared with care. I went with a sandwich and some sides, and it definitely hit the spot. The staff were friendly and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience feel welcoming and comfortable. It has that classic neighborhood vibe where you can tell it’s been around for a reason. Overall, a solid place

Exposed-brick bar for carefully composed cocktails & frozen drinks.
Great vibes and great drinks! I ordered a ginger ale and was served a real ginger beverage with a solid kick! Everyone in our group was raving about their drinks all night. Lots of cute booths many with playing cards and the instrumental jazz playlist was the perfect garnish for this charming spot. Absolutely worth a visit.

Cocktails are complex and unique. We’ve come back a few times and tried other drinks on the menu and none have disappointed us so far. I really like the more dark atmosphere with the mysterious aesthetic. The whiskey flights are fun and well-priced, too. Gorgeous place.

Sam, the general manager, made this an unforgettable night for my mom and me. We agreed it was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. The bread and the halibut were delicious beyond words. The tuna with greens was surprisingly delightful (more my mom’s taste than mine, but I’m glad I tried). We could have done without the chilled shrimp crudo, missed the mark for us. The drink list was incredible, and our bottle (the Patapon white) was perfection. Well worth the trek to Red Hook! Thanks to Hele

Cheap, authentic NY pizza. An entire pizza pie costed me 13 dollars, which was about 16 inches. Their chicken is pretty pricy in my opinion. For drinks you can just go to the next door convenience store for cheap drinks like Arizona tea.

I purchased four closets from IKEA store in Brooklyn, and unfortunately one of the frames came damaged. I contacted customer service and was told that someone would call me. My husband and I had an incredible experience getting married at the Liberty Warehouse. Alyson and Jacob were super responsive and helpful throughout the planning process and the food tasting. On the day of, Jacob, Eva, Diego, Alex and the entire staff were so accommodating and present. They all made the day stress free and exactly how we envisioned it. Plus the venue is absolutely stunning! I cannot thank the Liberty Warehouse crew enough for making our wedding day perfect!

I celebrated my son’s bday dinner last night. I was running a little behind due to traffic. I called to let them know. A really nice lady answered and was so sweet. When we walked in, we got the warmest welcome from her. Her name is Debbie. I have a 10yrs old also and she immediately started having a conversation with her. When she sat us in the dinning room, she let us know there were 2 servers for the night with a 1 bus boy. She mentioned them by name and I loved that. We were attended to by
