Small Japanese noodle shop dishing out bowls of ramen and other basic fare at a long counter.
Ambiance (5/5): (I think some of the vibe pictures are outdated as there is no longer a bar seating that overlooks the kitchen) It is a cozy atmosphere with the wooden wall panels and brick. The space was fairly open. Service (5/5): It was not very busy during the lunch hours so we were serviced quickly and often. Food: There was a couple of seasonal specials posted on the wall. Chicken Bun (5/5): The chicken came out piping hot with a classic chicken katsu breading that was flakey and seasoned

Brunches, a children's menu & a doggy drinking fountain bring the crowds to this American eatery.
The Barking Dog on the Upper East Side was a great spot for a Friday evening meal. There was plenty of seating available both inside and outside, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. The music wasn't too loud, making it easy to enjoy a conversation. We ordered a hamburger and a grilled chicken sandwich, both served with delicious, crispy French fries. The food was fresh, tasty, and exactly what you'd want from a classic American menu. Our server, Luis, was friendly, attentive, and pr

Relaxed eatery with outdoor tables, serving mezze, kebabs, baklava & other Mediterranean classics.
I visited Sea Salt NYC during Eid and tried their prix fixe menu along with the lamb chops. Overall, the food was tasty and well-prepared, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. However, I was disappointed because I visited specifically after seeing their online menu and was excited to try the mixed grill and lamb shank. When we arrived, one server told us that those dishes had not been available since 2019. This was confusing because we had seen recent reviews from customers mentioning those item

Great food, Very friendly servers, pricey but they give big portions . The Apple Martini was great. They also surpised us with a dish of pineapple to share for dessert. The location is convienent .

Authentic Lebanese food, desserts, and people. Dined at Chamoun with a couple of friends and was beyond satisfied with the quick service and serving sizes. The place really fills a niche for light traditional Lebanese food in the heart of the city. The atmosphere was incredibly cosey, and it felt like a classic hangout spot back in Beirut with the way the staff interacted with us. We also had Kunafah for dessert, and it was freshly made on the premises! Definitely pop by and give them a try. Up

Corner diner serving sandwiches, omelets & Greek dishes for breakfast, lunch & dinner.
I went to the resturant right after a long day at the Met. The prices tend to be on the higher end but honestly I was expecting it since it was a sit down resturant and was near such a popular museum. The food comes out quick! Maybe it was because I ordered a sandwhich. The portions of the sandwhich was huge!! It had many layers of either chicken breast or turkey slices ( we ordered two). My mothers salmon spinach patty was delicious but it came a lot later. It had a crispy side of fries. The se

Bustling hub for bagels, various spreads & lox plus other baked goods presented in compact quarters.
Classic NYC bagel, exactly what we wanted. It was delicious. So many cream cheese options to choose from. The staff are kind and incredibly efficient. Very limited outdoor seating, so it’s more of a grab-and-go situation. Solid option when you want a reliable, satisfying breakfast.

Both famous & lesser-known comedians perform stand-up acts at this long-running comedy club.
Comedians where amazing and the waitresses was cheerful. The prices did increase by 5 dollars from the normal menu during the show. It also took a long time for the food to come out, and when it did the pizza was still cold. The cheesecake was amazing though! Next time I would make sure to eat before coming, and keep orders to just drinks or cheesecake. Pictures are of the menu with prices for events. If you are there outside of a comedy night it is 5 bucks cheeper.

Super happy with this place! 10/10 would recommend for some authentic New York style pizza. They have pay by the slice and whole pie options. What I loved most though is after warming up your pizza in the oven, they dress it with fresh olive oil, basil, etc. Friendly staff. I'd come back here in a heartbeat. Not a ton of reviews right now so I assume it's newer but man, it was good!

Mexican eatery with modern takes on the cuisine & an extensive tequila list in a colorful room.
We stopped by this place for dinner after attending a church service at St. Ignatius on the Upper East Side. As walk-ins, we were warmly welcomed and accommodated at the bar seating, which we appreciated given that the space is relatively compact. The staff were friendly and attentive, setting a positive tone for the evening. We ordered the beef and shrimp tacos, and they were excellent — very tasty and nicely presented. For dessert, we had the churros, which were good but felt more like a comm

An array of Pan-Asian eats (plus gluten-free options) served in a bi-level setting.
Overall: the food, environment and service was good. We had the gluten-free sesame chicken, General Tso’s chicken, and steamed pork dumplings. Both chicken dishes were fine but if you are looking for an appetizer I would recommend avoiding the GF steamed pork dumplings - they tasted very doughy (wish I went with the fried ones instead).

Taiwanese-style cooking with a pig-centric menu, plus kitschy pink decor to match the theme.
Haven’t come here in a while. I ordered fried meat dumplings and soup dumplings to start my dinner. The dried dumplings came suspiciously fast, and I was right. They were precooked and kept heated. The dumpling itself was nice. The flavor was nice. It was the texture that was a bit off. The bottom was burnt but not crispy enough. A few of them were broken and the filling was visible. The soup dumplings were okay. It was steaming hot. The wrapping was nicely done, but just a bit too thick to my

Charming local bakery offering gluten-free pastries, sandwiches & quiche in a chic, bi-level locale.
As someone who has been gluten free for their entire whole life, I can surly say that NoGlu is not good. Their atmosphere is gentle and nice, and the service good, but the prices are outrageous! $10 for a crossing the size of my palm?! My cinnamon roll (I asked for it to be heated up) was flaky dry, almost no frosting, and practically cold. My brother and I shared the lemon meringue tart which was okay, but I’ve definitely had better. I also got a chia tea latte, and it was somewhat cold and pas

Basic pizza joint serving traditional & gluten-free pies, plus pasta, subs & other classic fare.
This was my first time trying actual NY pizza in NY, I was not let down, when first walking in i was hit with the most amazing smell ever, all of the pizzas on display looked amazing and i genuinely wanted to get a slice of each. They have both rectangular slices and normal pizza slices but they all looked equally as delicious. When I got my pizza and tried it, it was amazing, when I visit NYC again I will definitely come back here!!

This place instantly brought me right back to Italy in the best way!! From the moment we walked in, everything felt warm, lively, and welcoming. What made the experience even more special was the incredible hospitality from everyone!! The owner and the staff were so kind, attentive, and genuinely sweet!!! We were lucky enough to have the owner sitting right behind us, and he made the night even better by recommending amazing dishes and surprising us with a sweet dessert at the end!! The food w

Craft beer, seasonal ales & wine with upmarket comfort food & weekend brunch in warm, rustic digs.
I popped in on a very hot Friday for a quick snack and beverage. It was nice and cool and the service was quick. I sat at the bar and ordered a vodka with the truffle fries. They were hot, crispy and overly delicious. I still keep thinking abt those fries!

Dependable Italian spot for pizza & pasta with outdoor seating for Second Avenue people-watching.
A Flavorful Escape on East 66th If you find yourself wandering through the Upper East Side in search of a reliable Italian meal, Mediterrano on East 66th Street offers a welcoming retreat. The restaurant strikes a fine balance with a large, diverse menu and an inviting atmosphere that feels both upscale and approachable. The standout of the meal was undoubtedly the Chicken Parmesan. The chicken was prepared perfectly—tender on the inside with a crisp, golden-brown breading, smothered in a vibran

I just happened to pass by this place and it was delicious. You can buy by the piece, and they provide disposable paper and plates, making it very convenient for eating on the go. The classic version is sweet and crispy, with a uniquely flavorful cheese topping.
