At first it looks ok. But once you get to the bar that’s when the story changes, the drinks are not the best but I have to say, this is the first time I see the owner take the drinks away from the bartender and basically say that’s not how you do it. Later on I found out the bartender was an experienced one not a novice. I guess the owner didn’t want enough alcohol in the drinks even though is a bar. The price is standard for the location. Not really a good place to socialize just another bar

Bar tinder didn’t know what was Tito’s vodka, and never mentioned it was a cash only bar. Until after the drink was made.then got upset when I only have cards. Didn’t like the vibe at all. I’d look elsewhere.

Relaxed Colombian joint serving traditional fare such as seafood & empanadas, plus beer & coffee.
First time there, went w party of six, able to reserve a table w short notice. The staff are very friendly and happy to explain the menu. Very attentive and food was plentiful. We had a combo app platter of guacamole, chicharron, tostones and fried calamari. Nice for sharing. The skirt steaks were excellent and highly recommended. Grilled shrimps w yellow rice and fries were huge portions and could feed two. Thw beers of course were served icy cold w frozen mugs, so refreshingn the atmosphere i

Restaurant chain known for its buckets of fried chicken, plus combo meals & sides.
The typical KFC restaurant - chicken is good and the folks working there are nice. The only thing they should improve is the cleanliness - I know it’s self service and some people leave a mess but a lot of the tables and the floor were dirty. We had to wipe down our table with wet napkins because it was still very oily.

Filipino eatery serving BBQ chicken & pork, plus seafood & fruit shakes in a simple setting.
Went to Ihawan for lunch with my family and had a really great experience. The restaurant has plenty of seating, and we were seated in less than 3 minutes. They have a good variety of Filipino dishes, including platter options, but we went with à la carte and everything we ordered was delicious. The food came out pretty fast too, in under 10 minutes. The one that really stood out to all of us was the lumpiang sariwa… OMG, it’s definitely a musttttt try! The chicharon bulaklak was also so good. S

The place is clean. The service and prices are good. I've gotten the Rotisserie Chicken 🐔 and it is moist and flavorful. They have dine in and it's a comfortable space.

Vibrant, compact restaurant with classic Japanese deep-fried & grilled dishes, plus noodles & bento.
Izakaya Fuku in New York was such a great experience from start to finish. The restaurant itself is stunning, with a beautiful Japanese-inspired interior that feels warm, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The lighting, wood accents, and overall atmosphere make it feel both stylish and inviting. The food was just as impressive. The salmon onigiri was simple but really satisfying, with soft, well-seasoned rice and flavorful salmon. The seared salmon salad was fresh and delicious, and the salmon ha

Relaxed, brick-lined spot, one of a local chain, offering Ecuadorian fare, such as ceviche & stews.
I have been ordering fish ceviches from this restauran. And a few times I would order. It’s would be the same ceviches with either Corina fish or mahi mahi fish. Which is the gold standard for an authentic Ecuadorian and a Peruvian ceviche. After my order I right away noticed this wasn’t any of the quality fish that is intended for a proper ceviche. The fish has such tough chunks. And the fish definitely didn’t taste fresh. I called the restaurant twice to ask what fish they were using for the c

Here as a pit stop while in Woodside looking for an authentic Tibetan experience. It did not disappoint. None of the other tables spoke English (servers did). For food we got the chicken lollipops which were seasoned fine but lacked a level of crisp and char I'd expect on the dish. The momos (pork) were in a pickled soup sauce that was sour and peppery. The flavors were fine but the momo skins were thicker than I would prefer. Overall the meal was everything I expected but personally would not

Homestyle Filipino specialties served up in a 2-story space with a weekend buffet.
Renee’s is my #1 go-to Filipino restaurant in Little Manila, Queens! I have brought so many of my friends here. My absolute favorite dish is the Tocilog. There is something special about a great Filipino breakfast, and Renee’s does it right. I usually pair it with an order of Lumpia Shanghai, which is a Filipino staple! Other favorites of mine include the Bisteksilog, Beef Kaldereta, BBQ Pork Meal, and Lechon Kawali. The service can vary from excellent to average, but the staff is generally fr

A very good fast food place. The workers here are friendly and helpful. The air smells like fresh, delicious food. The main part, the food, is excellent. Very good flavor and taste especially the chicken wings and Philly cheesesteaks. The area is small go the better option is to-go. But other than that, the best fast food place in town!!!

Gulshan Terrace in Astoria is an exceptional venue that successfully blends vibrant atmosphere with reliable execution, making it a standout choice for medium to large gatherings. Having recently attended a cousin’s wedding reception here, I can confidently say it delivers a fantastic experience, albeit with a few minor considerations. First and foremost, the space is perfect for events in the 150-200 person range (not official it's my thought) . The layout is spacious and flexible, allowing fo

Hands down one of my favorite cafes that I’ve been to! I feel like the matcha color bode super well, and the matcha bread was so so tasty! If this place were in LIC/Manhattan, there would be a line out the door. I would come back in a heartbeat - definitely want to try more of their baked goods assortment! Good place to just relax over a nice beverage or get some work done.

This is my go to Indian/Bangladesh food. Food are really good, taste of real home made. Update: used to be clean and good service but now it's nasty with don't really care whose waiting. I saw bugs on the meat and they don't really care. If you don't want to get sick await this place.

Casa de Julia absolutely blew me away. Chef Jeff prepared the most amazing camarones a la diabla—hands down one of the best plates I’ve ever had in NYC. Perfectly cooked shrimp, bold heat, incredible flavor, and beautifully presented. You can truly taste the passion and skill in every bite. If you’re looking for unforgettable food and top-tier cooking, Casa de Julia is a must. I’ll be thinking about that dish for a long time and will definitely be back! 🔥🍤

This is my preferred taco spot in the area since my favorite closed. The service is very straightforward and efficient. Their priority is getting you your food promptly. I’ve never had a service issue, and any impression of rudeness seems unintentional—just a byproduct of their speed and focus, so I would let it slide.
