We’ve lived in South Harlem for a year and a half, and have thus far been a little disappointed with the local food and restaurant options. There have been a few notable exceptions, however… and today, we found a BIG ONE in Jumbo Hamburgers. It’s small, and divey, but adorable in its own way… with the countertop and stools evocative of the old “soda shop” days. The server who put our order together was amazing. She did not write a single thing down, and despite our order being pretty sizable, t

We were just standing outside when a staff member approached us and pushed us to come inside and eat, promising we wouldn’t be disappointed. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the opposite. The place had a strong smell (like beer), which made the environment uncomfortable from the start. While the staff did come by multiple times to check on us, they didn’t take our order properly, which made the whole experience frustrating. On top of that, there was a basic issue with the order — I asked for

Incredible flavors and fresh chicken. Got the Mr Dak combo with the tteobukki and added glass noodles. Also ordered the truffle fries which were absolutely peak, definitely a must add-on! We tried the flavors pictured at the top of the menu and they were all so good! Was a bit hesitant about the yogurt based one but it turned out to be so delicious. The tteobukki had a strong kick but it was bearable and I’m not a big spice eater. The family and I tried the lychee drinks as well as the sky blue

Relaxed Indian restaurant featuring traditional dishes such as biryani & tandoori, plus a patio.
A Taste of India in Harlem You Won’t Forget! Indian Summer is easily my favorite Indian restaurant in Harlem. It’s honestly hard to try anywhere else because they never disappoint. The staff is always respectful and quick to help whenever you need anything, and I’ve never had a bad experience here. If you’ve never had Indian food before, this is the place I’d recommend starting with. It’s also a great spot for celebrating special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries. This was the best meal we had during our New York trip!!! We visited several recommended restaurants, and Atlantis Prime was by far our favorite. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were incredibly kind, and the service was excellent! Everyone truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a great dining experience. The location was also perfect for seeing a musical afterward. The Soup of the Day, the Petit Filet Mignon, dessert, and even the coffee were all wonderful. We’ll definitely

Another excellent showing for $Delvin. This guy needs a raise. This was me and my partners second time eating here and I didn’t think it could better. But $Delvin did it again. His cheeky wit and great interpersonal skills have improved my already great view of this establishment.

This cozy bar offers flat screen TVs for sports fans, plus classic & creative American menu options.
This review is for the wings, not the beer. Best thing about them was that there was so much food! The fries were great and the wings were perfectly cooked. Might have to go for the wet sauce next time! The garlic Parmesan and dry rub were alright. Not too oily but not super flavorful. The beer wall is really cool!

Narrow, offbeat cafe with a vintage ambiance providing latte art, house-roasted coffee & light fare.
To quote one of my favorite movies Jackie Brown, “man what happened to you…. You used to be beautiful”. This place is a shell of its former self. It was nice to look at, interesting drinks and amazing vibe. It has none of that anymore. The latte I ordered turned out to be ok but if you’ve been to the old, cool version of this spot, either don’t come or set your bar way low.

Compact Taiwanese eatery focusing on beef noodle soups & locally sourced ingredients.
This really surprised me - I liked it a lot. I thought it would be pretty mid/normal Taiwanese breakfast but it was great. The yo tiao in the fan Tuan was super crispy and delicious. The radish cake was a favourite. The savory soy milk and sweet were great. The breakfast roll was good. The breakfast for 2 was super big, and was enough for 3 of us. We got there at 11am on a Sunday and waited around 35 mins. There’s a waitlist so you can walk around while you wait and they’ll text you.

Really glad Bae found this spot for our pizza fix after our nearby botanical garden visit. Can’t believe I haven’t come here before. It is off the beaten path on a side street so there was no chance of randomly passing by and spotting while in the area. Luckily they have their own parking lot which is surprising and much appreciated so parking was a breeze. The shop is family run and I love that for them. The slices are really, really good. You have to try the home made hot oil/ sauce. The slice

Relaxed restaurant serving American cuisine with French touches in modern surroundings.
Been here many times and love the food, staff, and atmosphere. A gem in the Turtle Bay neighborhood. Their pre fix menu is a great option to try. I personally prefer the dinner menu over brunch. Recommend the crab cake, beef raghu, branzino, and chicken Milanese. Lots of veggies and sauce is perfect. They pour a good amount when you order a glass of wine. Oh and don’t forget to order dessert! The brownie Sunday is out of this world. Enjoy!

One of the most satisfying Korean meals I’ve had recently. The budae jjigae had a rich and flavorful broth with the perfect level of spice — comforting and hearty. The stone pot bibimbap was fresh and well-balanced, especially with the crispy rice at the bottom. The seafood pancake was crispy on the outside while still soft inside, and the pork cutlet was surprisingly tender and not greasy at all. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere feels cozy and authentic. Defin

What a great restaurant we really enjoyed dinner here. The service and food were amazing. They don’t take reservations and are cash only which is kind of a pain especially at this price point. There’s an ATM 1/2 a block away which you can get charged $3 to do a withdrawal.

A memorable Mother's Day dinner! Let me start by saying YES, THE WAIT WAS LONG! I made a 5:30 reservation and ate dinner by 7:30, however the woman host gave us an honest heads up when we were seated, and shared that since the owner went viral literally 3 days ago, she's been overwhelmed with crowds of people overnight that she's working to accommodate! Online reservations didn't send notifications to their team due to high volume, and staff were absent due to the holiday leaving her shorthanded

The drinks are top-notch—expertly crafted and consistently delicious. Whether you’re into classic cocktails, craft beers, or something new, there’s something for everyone. But what really sets this place apart is the service and atmosphere. Kevin was our bartender/server and was super sweet and provided great customer service! It’s warm, inviting, and full of energy without being overwhelming. Perfect spot for lunch or a drink on the go a night out with friends or a casual evening to unwind.

Classic Thai dishes & Isan cuisine served up in a contemporary storefront setting.
Nothing beats Issan style Thai food. This place is fantastic, not only is all the food flavorful and Rich with authenticity it's definitely the better restaurant on the Block as far as Thai food is concerned. Recommend eating here at the generic place next door. Everything we had was dripping with flavor. We have three apps and I entrees 4 drinks and it came out to $100 with tip the prices are very very reasonable 10/10. Would highly recommend coming here

Sports bar with brick walls, red banquettes & sidewalk seating, serving burgers, wings & brunch.
Great Bar. It's a big bar with lots of tvs to watch sports. The aesthetics are pleasing with a pub like feel. The service is good. The prices are very good. They have a good menu with plenty of options. They also have lots of draft beers 🍻. I would definitely come back
