Went here on a Friday night for some margaritas and tacos, and they were both pretty solid! Not sure if it’s every Friday but they also had karaoke that night which was pretty cool. The staff was very nice and helpful!

Small spot with a single diner table! I hit the roast pork chow fun for $7.50. It tasted alright/average, but def have gotten bigger portions for the price elsewhere. I’ll be sure to try their lunch special in the future.

Tavern On Reade is a wonderful spot that combines great food, warm service, and a relaxed neighborhood vibe. The menu offers delicious options made with care, and every dish feels fresh and flavorful. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual meal, drinks with friends, or a cozy evening out, the atmosphere is inviting and comfortable. I had really great experience at Boca Chicken. The customer service was excellent from the moment I walked in — everyone was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The restaurant was very clean, the food was fresh and flavorful, and the prices were affordable for the quality and portions you get. Definitely a great option for good eats in this area of the Bronx. I’ll definitely be coming back! The avocado chicken wrap is my new obsession.

Long overdue review. We have been here a handful of times this year and absolutely love it. The owner is always warm and friendly. The food is always amazing. My favorites are the soup, salad, steak, ribs, lamb, sushi. Just try everything. The servers are very knowledgeable, attentive, friendly. Love this place and love that it is Kosher.

This is a great spot for a date night or a meal with family. The complimentary appetizers are amazing. The fruit salad is sweet and juicy. The toasted butter bread is crispy, crunchy and full of buttery flavor. The drinks are sweet and fun and even come with a tiny ice animal on top. The ribeye steak was so juicy, tender and full of flavor for a $30 price point. To add on the fine dining service, the waiter brings steak is brought out in display full of steam that my party go WOW every time we

Claudio was an amazing server! So friendly, kind, and knew all about the history of the restaurant, which was fun as we were from out of town and were interested in knowing! The food was absolutely amazing, and the restaurant was cozy and comforting. Highly recommend this place!!

Chill, brick-lined venue for breakfast sandwiches, burritos & tacos, plus coffee & specialty drinks.
Honestly this place is really a hit or miss, it kinda depends on the day. Today I sent a friend there to get two large lattes. They didn’t know any better but I had to write this review because they were charged full price and not given the correct size. This has happened to me before and I always tell them to switch it to the correct size. Make sure you ask to see the cup before you buy! It’s unfair when the coffee is already like 8 bucks.

Bar serving cocktails, local beers & elevated bar bites in an industrial-chic setting.
Awesome bar! I stopped by on a Tuesday night for the first time. It was a random find for me. I loved the punk-heavy music, cool bartender, and just the overall vibe! I tried 3 cocktails and they were all yummy! Something for everyone on the cocktail menu.

Snug hangout with a hip vibe featuring housemade kava drinks, plus coffee, kombucha & tea.
Brooklyn Kava is hands down the worst kava experience I have ever had, and coming from someone who has frequented numerous kava bars across Florida, that is saying a lot. When I was previously there with John and got bartending by him I didn't experience any problems, but this recent visit was a complete disaster. The drinks prepared by the bartender, Keon, were completely ineffective, meaning I felt absolutely none of the relaxation or traditional effects that high-quality kava is supposed to p

We recently visited the new coffee shop Rule 257 and overall had a really nice experience. The ambience is amazing — the space is full of small, cute details that make it feel very thoughtful and cozy. The interior design is well done, and the downstairs area adds a really cool extra dimension to the place. They also have nice merch available and host different master classes and occasional wine tastings, which makes the concept feel more community-oriented and interesting. The barista was very

This place seriously has some of the best bagels I’ve ever had. They’re perfectly crispy on the outside soft and chewy inside and always super fresh. You can tell they really care about what they’re making. And the paninis, So good. Packed with flavor, generously filled, and pressed just right. It’s the kind of spot you go to once and immediately want to come back. If you love great bagels and killer paninis, you have to check this place out!

What an establishment. This woman is slinging some greattt treats completely on her own. The line moves slow, and she won’t let you make any customizations. The mochi waffle is HUGE (I’d recommend sharing) and veryyy full with toppings. I loved the peanut butter pandan one. They take cash and card. Cash preferred. Menu rotates weekly.

Counter-service chain offering scoops of ice cream & sorbet plus sundaes, shakes & smoothies.
Definitely very expensive, but the ice cream is good, and they have a nice little selection. The person serving me was obviously training, and the manager was watching her to make sure she did good- which was nice to see! I originally got a tiny scoop... which- I think is normal, but they ended up giving me more. It was like $8 for that tiny scoop though, so I for sure can't afford to make this a normal visit.

Low-ceilinged gay bar with a subterranean feel, diverse beer menu & jukebox.
Love the name. My friend read it as 'Now here", either way it's a step down, below ground NYC hide away gay bar and I get the feeling they want to keep it that way. Very low ceilings and a little too dark. Your eyes may need time to adjust. Friendly enough people once you can see who's in there. It's a bit like the old New York speakeasy gay bars.

We found this excellent spot in NYC for an amazing meal. Inside it has a warm atmosphere that is sophisticated but charming. The food choices are very interesting. We finally decided on a delicious Caesar salad and the zucchini pizza. Both were excellent! The zucchini tasted like it was fresh from Nonna’s garden. They have a great happy hour too. We are going back to enjoy again.

This area is nice and Koronet Pizza they have some good options. I had a Margherita pizza, and it was delicious and hit the spot.Especially right after work. I was gonna try the pepperoni.Maybe I'll have that next time.Looks really good.🍕🍕🍕😋

I was really looking forward to trying the pistachio croissant from this bakery, but unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. The filling tasted sour and off, especially in the center, which made it really unpleasant to eat. I hope this was just a one-time issue, but it definitely made me question the freshness and quality control.

This tiny wine bar offers a variety of vino & bites, plus outdoor seating in warm weather.
Found this little gem randomly while searching wine bars on the upper west side. Cozy place with lots of regulars and although outside seating is limited even at the bar you can still people watch. They have a wide variety of wines to choose from along with some small bites to munch on, I recommend the 3 and 3 charcuterie board. Was there from just after 5 to just after 7 and never an empty seat for long. The staff is good as well

Very atmospheric place! Everything was great — both the food and the service. The dishes were fresh and delicious, with beautiful presentation. The staff was attentive and friendly, and everything was served quickly. These were the best varenyky (dumplings) and borscht we’ve tried anywhere in the U.S. We had a wonderful experience!!!
