I used to love their food, but this chicken was tough as hell and had no flavor. I had no idea they cut their chicken up this small. They need to make the chicken how they used to years ago. Total waste of money. The best thing was the salad.

Great lunch spot. No bs. No frills. Great value. They give you food over flowing the container. I paid $12 for what I ordered. Great value.

Ordered fried minced pork with sour beans and fried pork. But instead of fried pork, I got the one in picture, which I believe is Cantonese dish. Both of them taste terrible and is the worst I have had so far. Very disappointed.

I wish I could say I loved it, but I can't. Cute concept - great topping flavors, combining the ideas of boba and ice cream...but a few things keep Strawberry Home from being on my future rotation. First, the quality of the ice cream is just subpar for my taste. It's too icy and gives cheap. Second, there is only one flavor of ice cream: vanilla. The options come in the toppings (which were very good by the way). Third, the place is way too small. Luckily, no one was in there so I could si

Mela’s Cafe was really good. I got the rice with chicken chunks and it was packed with flavor. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, and the rice was cooked perfectly. The portion size was solid and definitely filling. Everything tasted fresh and came out hot. The staff were friendly and the vibe of the place was chill. I’d definitely order it again.

Intimate express branch of sushi restaurant serving fresh rolls & rice bowls to eat in or take out.
The venue has some tall bar tables and 1 2-person dining table. We dined in during lunch and tried their fixed lunch menu for $25. Included in the meal is a miso soup, salad, avocado or cucumber roll, and a tuna or salmon rice bowl. The salmon was fresh and the bowl had a nice sweet warm rice topped with some dried seaweed, which was delicious. Unfortunately, I did not think the price was worth the food since the rolls did not include any fish and did not have anything to it! We were the only p

Right next to the bus stop and a stones throw from the gym, this location is a perfect place for a smoothie or quick bite. Would highly recommend stopping by especially if Mathew is working. He will treat you like the big brother you didn’t know you needed. -John R.

I’ve been coming to this spot on and off for the past 4 years, their roast pork is hit or miss. Their flavor is the best around 8th Ave, but they really need to keep it tasting amazing consistently… Also, they like to block the scale they use to weigh the meat so you can’t see the weight and price, what’s up with that? It’s been like this for as long as I can remember…

Finally got our New York bagel on our weekend trip. The shop was just down the street from our hotel. It was a Sunday morning, moderately busy, and my wife had a salt bagel with bacon cheddar cheese and I had a sesame bagel with onion scallion cream cheese. The bagels are large and very fresh. Definitely recommend this bagel shop.

When this place first opened, the food was a 10/10 — fresh, flavorful, and well worth the price. Unfortunately, since the change in management, the quality has gone downhill. The food is now overly salty, and the portions are noticeably smaller. I ordered again last night hoping it was just an off day before, but it was even worse. One of my meals looked like it had been eaten from, and I was also missing a coleslaw from my order. Very disappointing experience overall. I really hope they take th

Their sandwiches were excellent! The taste is incredible and portions are hearty. Their bread is so good, crispy on the outside, soft as you bite into it. We also got the flip for 50% off on our order which was fun! 🤩

We decided we would try the Market 57 foodhall at Pier 57 as we were visiting the Rooftop Park at Pier 57 before exploring Little Island next door and walking the High Line nearby. There are many different cuisine options in the large, airy & spacious food hall and after a good look around all of the different stalls my wife decided she would have a traditional NY hot dog from the 'New York's Best Damn Hotdog', which was tasty but served in a bun that was too soft and crumbled in her hands as sh

What an amazing place! It was beyond my expectations. We had a Kaiseki dinner and some à la cart dishes. We sat at the counter in front of the chef and looked at the preparation which made me very excited. Every single dish had such beautiful presentation and tasted so perfect. Also don’t forget to check out their sake list. Will definitely go back soon.

Quick little joint with lots of cool drinks options. Employees were super friendly and explained the ordering process and app for me. You order electronically from the kiosk or the app, this is not a sit down place that takes cash. The coffee is strong and not very sweet, but they have lots of customizable options.

Seafood restaurants on the UES have disappeared over the last few years — Crave Fishbar was not only a welcomed addition, but maybe one of the best additions on Second Ave. I’ve been eating here since they opened in 2024. The fresh seafood dishes are exceptional, only surpassed by the service… the crew behind the bar, the waiters, even the cooks in the kitchen who wave ‘hello’. The menu changes seasonally, here are a few of my favorite dishes. Enjoy!!!

Decent milk tea and plain bubbles. Used the kiosk to order, it is convenient, but the drinks take a long time to make. If they have a lot of online orders, the wait becomes even longer, so be prepared for delays. My favorite drinks are the creme brulee milk tea and milk tea with cheese foam. I also tried the mango yogurt drink, which tastes like the classic Chinese yogurt drink (酸奶), and it came with crystal boba. For hot drinks, I had to order through the cashier since the kiosk doesn’t show th

Good spot to get unique food, but I’d say it’s kinda a hit or miss. We got the 3 Muay Thai Fried Chicken Fingers with a Coconut Scallion Mommy Cake Combo (with Thai Ice Tea, Tofu Satay Bites, and Passionfruit Sweet & Sour Sauce), as well as the Taro Tapioca Donuts with Pandan Sangkaya Custard Thai Tea Condensed Milk Soft Serve Twist. My favorite dishes were the tofu satay bites, taro tapioca donuts, and fried chicken fingers. The tofu satay bites were so well fried and yummy, and the taro donut

Unfussy eatery with functional decor & a menu of Chinese & Tex-Mex comfort classics.
I had an disappointing experience at this Chinese restaurant. The staff, including the owner, were quite rude and unprofessional. I was taken aback when I noticed the owner sweeping around my feet while I was there. Additionally, during the payment process, she displayed a confrontational attitude and abruptly slapped my card back onto the counter instead of handing it to me directly. I'm unsure if they treat their own staff or customers with such disregard, but this behavior was quite unsettlin

Authentic Taiwanese comfort food in Queens! The braised dishes were flavorful and tasted just like street food in Taiwan. Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and generously portioned. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick even during busy hours. If you’re craving Taiwanese classics, this is definitely a spot worth visiting. I’ll be coming back to try more items from the menu!

A small, friendly gay lounge with a neighborhood vibe & weekly events like drag-queen karaoke.
My friends and I chose Suite to celebrate our upcoming graduation, and unfortunately it ended up being a disappointing experience. We had barely sat down when the bartender with the loose waves came over to “remind” us about the two‑drink minimum. A drink policy isn’t the issue — this is New York, we all know how that works. The issue was the unnecessarily rude and policing tone he used, which immediately made us feel unwelcome. When we went to order our first round, I asked if we could add our

I recently discovered FEAST ON US RESTAURANT, and it has quickly become one of my favorite spots. This small yet inviting place offers a diverse selection of dishes daily, each one packed with flavor and freshness. Whether you’re looking for a healthy and satisfying lunch or a flavorful meal, this is the perfect go-to spot. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates quality food in a welcoming atmosphere

Halal Chinese food, no pork which is amazing. Food is fresh, I love the fried rice with the egg (you have to ask for the egg to be added) 2$ .. I love the passionfruit green tea too. I wasn’t really a big fan of the wontons I felt like the dough was a little too thick but I would still come back for everything else. I love how they make their own lemonades too for 3$.. give it a try, I would recommend if you are looking for a clean spot to dine in and fresh halal Chinese food.

Came in around 7 on a Friday. Very chill, hardly anyone. Service was alright at best, same with the food. I came in and ordered a coke and henny, as I was waiting on 2 others to arrive and the waitress came to me with some BS excuse to get me to close my tab (not even 15 minutes). Besides that she was alright. Between me and the other guests, one ordered a steak, another Patacon Chimi and I got the burger (it is small, but double patty) with fries. All of our food came out lukewarm at best. The
