Every time we visit NY, we have to try NY pizza, we're wandering around NY, we got hungry and stumbled into this Napoli pizza place on a busy street. We ordered some slices with different toppings to try and sit at the bar looking at people walking, quite NY like LOL. We like the thin NY crust, the dough, the cheese, the pepperoni, mushroom together so tasty delicious. I came here on a weekday. The ambience is low lit, nice AC, super chill and they were playing Willy Wonka on the tv. Good service. This is definitely the best bar with actual good food in the area. Amazing place for afternoon tea, brunch or lunch! There are a ton of tea options from different oolong teas to milk teas and they offer non-dairy milk alternatives. They had many vegetarian food options in the regular menu and veggie alternatives for the afternoon tea specials. The servers were all very kind and gave helpful recommendations. Between the good food, good tea, and beautiful venue it's one of my favorite places to visit.

I recently dined at Portale and overall had a solid experience. The ambiance is elevated yet comfortable, a nice spot for a relaxed upscale dinner. Service was a bit uneven. While polite, it felt somewhat slow and distant at times, which took away from the overall flow of the evening. Food-wise, there were some highs and a few misses. Yum!!! Spicy strawberry salad is a great way to awaken the senses and get your appetite going. I also loved the wings appetizer. The red curry with duck is delicious, the duck is cooked to absolute perfection Cashew chicken is so addictive! Not too sweet, perfectly tender with a bit of crisp. So good. The 'fries' with salted duck egg yolk powder blew me away. I never had something quite like that. Absolutely phenomenal.

I walked past this place yesterday and came back to try it today and it’s some of the best pasta I’ve had in the city. The staff was so friendly and the atmosphere feels like a chill cafe in Europe. I got the Napoli with grilled chicken and a Cesar salad, I highly recommend it and will be back to try the rest of the menu.

Shoutout to the amazing server who helped us out! My friends were visiting from Japan, and we stopped by right as they were closing because we were hoping to get one of the FIFA Five Borough World Cups cups. Even though they were closing, they still let us come in and grab them. It was such a kind gesture and really made my friends' trip a little more special. They gave absolutely no meat, everything was bone and fat. Extremely disappointed. Spices were great but this was disrespectful. You know how frustrating that is to see when you get home hungry thinking you’re about to tear it up? Tear what up? Spent 43$ on the thought of dinner. The other plate was 98% rice. Not having enough option for true Spanish tapas in the city, we were stoked to give El Born a try... we ordered quite a few selections and sadly, most fell bit short on the flavor scale. Most dishes were lacking just abit of salt, the bread with tomato was on the soggy side and was missing garlic. Came here for a team dinner. The staff was very attentive and we ended up doing our dinner family style. The steak dish was my favorite of the batch, but everything was very delicious and cooked to perfection. We were seated at large tables in the upstairs area which was semi-private for our group. I love to try new cafe / coffee shops anywhere we travel too. Never been to one of these locations before but this one was near our hotel we stayed at, so I stopped in to grab coffees. Wasn’t such a fan of my ice beverage but still enjoyed trying something new, it wasn’t bad ; it just wasn’t what I’m use to tasting in my coffee. It has the look of a beautiful beach front house. They have a full bar and indoor and outdoor seating. You have to make reservations because it’s a busy place. If you want to sit outside, you have to let them know that as well when you’re making the reservation. They offer live music and the service was great. if you go outside in the back over the sand dune, you get a beautiful view of the city skyline.

Had a really excellent dinner at Santa Panza this weekend! We shared 3 appetizers (the spring snap peas, meatball, and whipped ricotta) and were really happy with each. The space has a nice aesthetic, but the experience fell short. The Prosecco was served in a coupe glass and tasted flat, we only had a few sips before switching to Sancerre. No one asked about it or acknowledged that the drinks were left untouched, and they were still included on the bill. It’s a small detail, but it reflects on both service and attention to quality.
