During our one week stay we had breakfast there every morning. The quality of the food is amazing and also the coffee tasted great. Everything is freshly made directly in the bakery. You had a clear view through the window where the bakers did their wonderful work. The service staff was very friendly and the ordering process was easy. Toast is a fantastic New York restaurant. It’s stood for many years because the food is always delicious. They don’t need bells and whistles like a lot of other NY restaurants because the quality speaks for itself. I think we may have arrived slightly earlier than they were actually open but they sat us quickly. I had the Cuban sandwich and it was possibly THE best Cuban sandwich I’ve ever had. Pretty sure it’s the GOAT when it comes to the Cuban sandwich. So good.

Ciro the Pizza Man made us an absolutely delicious personal pie with arugula, mushroom, and feta — it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly done!
