A nice cafe, that specializes in matcha. I already had their regular matcha in a different branch, and it was quite good, so this time I wanted to try something new and went for the daydream matcha, that had honey & cinnamon. As expected, it was obviously sweeter than just plain matcha, but it was delicious and refreshing, and a new take on matcha that I haven't tried before. Loved it, and would definitely come back here to try some more of their original matcha drinks.

24-hour outpost turning out Korean standards in a dark-wood space with a ceiling made of logs.
I bumped into this seemingly really authentic and traditional Korean restaurant while in Flushing. The vibe is very local - serving mostly residents living nearby, but also welcoming strangers lol. It’s very home-cooked, kinda like mom or grandma’s type of food. A solid choice if you want a simple, homey meal!

I am not a big foodie and cleanliness is more important to me - this place is kept pretty clean. The service is great. We were there with a BUNCH of kids and the servers were patient and really took good care of the children. Overall I highly recommend.

We had dinner her and the food was absolutely delicious. I had one of the best aperol spritz that I’ve had. The chicken Parmesan and the pappardelle short rib were also delicious. The pasta was cooked to Al dente and the portion of the chicken parm was enormous. We ended the meal with the caramel crunch cake which was the perfect blend of chocolatey and nutty.

I’m actually a long time customer of BUKA but I think I’ve had enough. It’s like I have amnesia and continue ordering from them just to be disappointed every time. The egusi is so hit or miss. Today was a miss. Was more red stew and oil than it was egusi. But what really annoyed me today was the chicken they gave me with my jollof chicken combo. Fully burnt chicken. I’ve sent them the photos and they claim that it’s exactly how they intended so I want to post it here so they can stand on what th

Straightforward, long-running bagel shop with a familiar menu of breakfast, sandwiches & salads.

NYC-based eatery serving seasonal, thoughtfully sourced bowls, plates, salads & more.
Dig Inn has a seasonal menu and as such it's hard to keep a standard to-go order. For this season, my to-go is: 3 sides - avocado, mac n cheese and brown rice. Entrée is the crispy chicken. Chose Garlic Aioli for sauce on the side. Total was $15.51 after tax. Just about right for bowls in Midtown.

Underground lounge where dark nooks & a waterfall lend a romantic, intimate vibe.
I had a lovely dinner with my parents here. The atmosphere was pretty unique with a maze like restaurant, alcoves and cozy intimate seating. The menu was great and food delicious! I think the tagine could have been slightly slower cooked, veggies felt ever so slightly overly firm, but the lamb was oh so perfect. All our other apps and were otherwise perfect! Great service, and again, perfect venue for an intimate dinner or date night!

Cavernous, futuristic nightspot with live DJs, VIP table service & private karaoke rooms.
I had an amazing experience at this nightclub! The atmosphere was electric, with great music that kept everyone on the dance floor all night. The DJ played a perfect mix of hits and party favorites. The lighting and sound system were top-notch, creating a vibrant vibe. The staff was friendly and attentive, and drinks were served quickly. Security was professional, which made the place feel safe and well-managed. Overall, it was a fantastic night out with friends. I’ll definitely be coming back

My brutha told me about this spot near 138th and the Bruckner Blvd that has good smoked foods. He's practically a meat connoisseur so I was curious to see what this place was about. The inside definitely gives me cozy, barbecue house vibes; the wooden furniture and bar was a nice touch. Kinda like how you would order at a fast food spot, you go up to the counter and order what you want and a waiter/waitress will bring you your order. Surprisingly good Midtown bagel spot. Coffee was solid, scallion cream cheese bagel was fresh and nicely toasted, and the pastrami sandwich with jalapeño jack was really satisfying for the price. Awesome small intimate venue with hilarious talent! I visited twice in a week, once on Super Bowl Sunday with very small crowd. Comedians and waitstaff still delivered to 12 people in the audience! Also two “drink” minimum includes food items and non alcoholic beverages, which was very helpful. I love comedy and the clubs affiliated with the Comedy Cellar in NYC are top notch.

It’s is incredibly tiny in here, and the wait is still very long. I’d order ahead because you’re going to be waiting a long time no matter what, and there’s nowhere to sit. I’d also not get the basic drinks like the jasmine milk tea because I think other stores do those better, but heytea does better unique drinks.

A great little karaoke bar with private rooms. I thought the staff was nice and the prices were reasonable ($7 a person per hour). They could have put us in a slightly larger room as we had to use stools, but I do understand wanting to have a larger room available for a bigger group. The drinks were fairly priced and the happy hour deals seem good. My husband surprised me with a meal at Ammos for our second anniversary. Surprisingly, I had only had Greek cuisine once before, even though we dine out often. The server was both knowledgeable about the food and helpful in guiding our selections. His recommendations did not disappoint. The photos speak for themselves. Small chain of family-owned bake shops creating cupcakes in both traditional & adventurous flavors.
I travel to Brooklyn from Manhattan :45 each way just to get these cupcakes. I dream about Brooklyn Cupcakes. They are ALWAYS fresh, soft, sweet, with just the right amount of frosting and the texture of the cake is like a cloud. I can't ever NOT go to Brooklyn Cupcake when I travel to NYC. Welcoming coffeehouse with handcrafted coffee, espresso & tea, plus breakfast, lunch & pastries.
I stopped by the Starbucks at 7419 3rd Ave in Bay Ridge and it quickly became one of my favorite locations in Brooklyn. The spot itself is very well located — easy to get to and convenient whether you're grabbing a quick coffee on the go or settling in for a bit. I would definitely recommend this place.

If you’re a fan of authentic Shanghainese flavors, Xie Bao Crabhouse in the Flushing food court is an absolute must-try. And for those who have yet to try shanghainese food before this is where to start! Their crab roe with noodles is the star of the show. This is one of many locations for this rapidly growing Guatemalan chicken chain, now based in Texas. My last time stopping at one of their locations was in Chinatown, where I tried a Spicy Chicken Sandwich, which was good, especially with a side of roasted plantains/maduros. It was comparable to other fast-food chicken places, such as Popeyes, in terms of combo meals, though I preferred the kick at Popeyes and the side at Pollo, so presumably, I would prefer this place overall if I went with a n

We’ve lived in South Harlem for a year and a half, and have thus far been a little disappointed with the local food and restaurant options. There have been a few notable exceptions, however… and today, we found a BIG ONE in Jumbo Hamburgers. It’s usually very crowded, which is understandable given the location. The food quality is consistent with what you expect from McDonald’s. One positive aspect is that the menu uses clear item numbers, which is very helpful for people who are not fluent in English. The staff can be a bit rough in their customer service, and a more friendly approach would improve the experience. However, the constant crowds likely make it difficult to maintain a high service standard. Also worth noting: they do a
