Decades ago I used to eat at the original hole in the wall location under the manhattan bridge in Chinatown. It’s not as good as I remembered, especially the bun on the lamb burger. It was also a lot spicier than I recall, but I am glad to see that there are options for spice, including no spice. The noodles are still hand pulled and just as delicious. Excellent service. No tables, just bar stools along a counter along the wall.

So I will honestly say that the place, atmosphere and food was very good. Our server was amazing, was very attentive and very friendly. The food was great, as soon as we ordered 10 minutes later we got our meals. Past 7PM they had a live DJ and he was playing some good music. Every single person in our table was dancing and enjoying themselves. We were a group of 12. We order sangria passion fruit worth every penny.

We’ve ordered a few times at work—delivery always quick and friendly! Yesterday I finally went into the shop and it’s just such a classic pizzeria vibe with amazing service. The best Northern Thai food in Brooklyn. Everything is so tasty and the ambiance is quite nice. Especially the outdoor seating in the summer. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. They have a bunch of amazing gluten free options including Pad Thai, Fried Rice, steak, seafood, all the curries (some of the best massaman curry in the world!), and even coconut custard for dessert. Discovered the original location during a trip to NYC. It’s been my favourite place to come eat for breakfast and has opened the world of bagels to me. Every option I’ve tried so far has been delicious. The staff are really friendly, attentive and every bagel is loaded with ingredients. The chicken parmi and turkey are top picks. This is also the only place I’ve found which can make a decent matcha latte, yet another reason to come here if you’re in NYC and have breakfast cravings.

Went for an early dinner on a Thursday and ordered the 3 dish set. The oyster and salmon was very fresh. The sauce on the salmon dish was watery but it tasted better than it looked. The wagyu for the 2nd dish was average. The Wagyu Sotbap was good and worth the extra $10. Although it was heavy because the oil from cooking the wagyu with a blow torch was absorbed by the rice. The first time I ordered through phone it took them 2 hours to bring the food to my house. Mind you I’m 3 blocks aways not far but not close,honestly it’s like a 10 minute walk. Second time I went in person I ask for a yaroa mixta, meaning it supposed to have fires with chicken,meat and cheese when I get home, the yaroa was only chicken, not only did it not bring meat it was dry with barely any sauce and the cheese was barely melted. Every single time I buy food from here it’s never right and it doesn’t taste good at all. I was exploring Murray Hill neighbourhood in New York and I walked into Freehand Hotel to look in the lobby and saw a sign that said Rooftop Patio, the front desk staff said the entrance is outside at the side of the building, it was a cool setup to go up in an old elevator.
