I don’t know if it’s the trade war but I’m very disappointed in this place. I’ve been eating here over seven years. Food has always been top-tier. Not as for tonight it was Trash, the broccoli was no good. They done switch the rice besides that the pork fried rice taste spoiled, and the beef is like chewing gum. You can’t eat it. I will also be filing a health department complaint. And I pray y’all meat is real because I will be giving my doctor a sample to test. It don’t taste like beef. I post

I really genuinely hate to be that guy, but there was half a dead centipede in my soup. I only ordered in because I'm sick, and I was put off the rest of my meal ($30). The lady I spoke to was nice and offered either a $3 cash refund for one of the 2 soups, or to deliver another wonton soup (no thanks, I don't really want to think about where the other half of the bug is). I understand bugs exist and things happen, but I'm pretty bummed lol

Their lunch special is fairly priced. It comes with a soup or egg roll. I got the hot and sour soup which was excellent. I also got the spare ribs with pork fried rice. You can tell this is probably a more “gourmet” level of take out. It wasn’t red and saucy like your typical Chinese take out spot. Unfortunately I wanted the real hood version.

The hot and sour soup and the pan-fried pork dumplings were DELISH! We also had the Szechuan Fish Filet with pickled cabbage and it was to die for!! Service is hands off but attentive. This is a small bakery that sells meals!! Tried it for the first time & it was ok! Nothing to rave about! The Thai Ice Tea tasted nothing like Thai Ice Tea!! Curry beef was ok! Let's be totally for real. You don't go to a "cheap" Chinese take-out for atmosphere. You come to get more bang for your buck with a side order of MSG. And this place scratches the itch. Where to start with this legend of an establishment. This Chinese bakery has been a staple of the neighborhood for as long as I can remember. They’ve got the freshest bread around and amazing hot coffee. Their sausage egg and cheese is my regular it is absolutely a banger. Their sponge cakes are perfectly light and fluffy too. First Chinese restaurant that I actually found since moving to the neighborhood that tastes great and has awesome customer service. The woman who takes orders in the front is always so welcoming and sweet. Love their shrimp and broccoli combo with pork fried rice and an egg roll. I will say the prices here are on average 2-4 bucks more than other Chinese food take out restaurants throughout the city though and that part I wish were different. This spot is a staple of the area with some of the best dumplings I've ever had. I always get the fried or steamed pork dumplings, but a lot of their other dishes are fire as well. I will say, their menu is very large so not everything is a banger but when they make good food they make GOOD food. I've ordered through UberEats at least 30 times for over 1.5 years and today is the first time I've been asked unnecessary questions and asked to prove it's my food although I've been buying from them since January 2025. I’ve been at this Restaurant a few times since New Management and the service has been consistently good. The food is delicious and prices are reasonable. The veggie steamed dumplings are awesome; the shrimp fried rice is delicious. This is definitely my favorite for those days I want a great meal.
