Great place that I definitely can recommend! I got their palomita (cortado with slightly more milk, but less to be a flat white?) which was perfect. Great barista skills. For pastries I got their matcha danish which was SO GOOD! I brought it with me to Denmark and even after my flight it was crispy, soft center and flavor was exceptional. Will be getting it again! You can also taste they use a good amount of- and good quality matcha. (: Unfortunately the downside of their pastries were the black

My fiancé and I visited that restaurant, and I can't wait to go back there to try their other dishes. We ordered mushroom & onion omlette, eggs royale, pancakes with blueberries (that were served wth fresh fruits), hot chocolate, and the KOVA coffee. Everything was delicious! Also, the staff was very nice and the atmosphere was very cozy.

It is one of the best Gregory locations to sit down with a laptop and a unique coffee! I love how the tables are spaced out with several power outlets, which is my top priority. ☕️ Fall Oat Boy - $7.13 🍵 Strawberry Matcha - $7.57 I personally loved the Oat Boy as someone who usually gets vanilla latte and prefers something sweet with a lavender taste. The matcha was also good, and just make sure you stir in the foam with matcha! Just one thing, although I was happy to see the loyalty program

Outpost of a local mini-chain serving house-roasted coffee & espresso drinks, plus pastries.
This is a lovely quiet cafe. The atmosphere is calm and seconds away from the WTC observatory. We had a coffee here one day and loved it so much we went back out of our way to get more before we left NYC. The staff remembered us too and they were so lovely and chatty. Best drink for me was Yuzu and Elderflower. If you like strong coffee, add this to the drink. My friends LOVED it. Unfortunately not much space to sit down and no toilets y less you go to Pret next door.

A hidden gem I discovered by chance after moving into the neighborhood — and now I’m hooked. Crumbly has one of the best pistachio lattes I’ve ever had. As a New Yorker originally from Paris, I genuinely find a taste of Europe here. The pastries are delicious, both sweet and savory — especially the cheese and spinach feta croissants, always fresh and flavorful. André and his wife are incredibly kind and generous, which makes the whole experience even better. Bonus: a small outdoor terrace, which

In a chaotic, fast-paced, and noisy city like New York, this place is honestly a calm and quiet coffee shop with a really nice vibe. I got a caramel latte, but I wouldn’t hype up their coffee too much it was average, maybe even slightly below average for me. However, it’s definitely a great spot for anyone who wants to bring their laptop and get some work done

The best coffee shop in all of NYC. No queues, no crowds, no arrogance. Just great brewed coffee. As good as coffee as Ive ever had in Italy and Australia. And great, friendly service!

Such a nice and cool hipster place, just like you'd expect in Brooklyn. Make sure to try the chocolate croissant, it's marvellous! All coffee drinks are great too. 👍 Loved the experience!

Loved this coffee shop! It’s a refuge in the busy bus station. I had a cortado which was delicious . The pastry counter looks very appetizing and I will try something next time . The owner is super nice! He has made many cute signs around the store , which gave me a laugh ! He said he made the signs with his daughter . We should all support this wonderful local business !

One of my favorite coffee shops in the city! Drinks are amazing! I've gotten a different drink each time and have enjoyed each one! The staff is great, very kind, and you can tell that they really care about their customers! Also a good atmosphere to study or do work! I highly recommend this place!

Coffee was amazing, I had the Iced Vienna latte and they gave me a big serving. Their desserts are all made in house, my favorite one was definitely Mohalabia. It had a hint of rose with kaitafi and walnut toppings. The smoked salmon sandwich filled me up as well. All the staff here were super respectful and nice to me. The ambience of the cafe is perfect. The bathroom was clean. Definitely coming here again!

This is my new favorite coffee spot! The staff is super friendly and helpful. They also make sure you’re aware of all of the ingredients they use in each item on the menu (incase of allergies or taste preferences). I loved the iced pistachio latte; it was perfectly creamy and not too sweet. I also had a berry smoothie and ham and cheese sandwich. They were both fresh and yummy. I highly recommend stopping over on your way to Roosevelt Island this summer.

Why the Greenpoint Starbucks on Nassau and Lorimer Falls Short I’ve visited the Starbucks location at Nassau and Lorimer in Greenpoint multiple times, and despite having documented transactions through the Starbucks app, my experiences there have consistently left me disappointed. What stands out most is not a single incident, but a pattern—one that suggests a lack of awareness, attentiveness, and basic customer acknowledgment. I work for the city and also do independent journalism in New York

I’ve been a Starbucks customer for over 20 years, and because my job takes me to different areas, I’ve visited many of their stores throughout New York. In all that time, I’ve consistently experienced decent to great customer service. Recently, I started working in Alphabet City, so I began going to the St. Marks and Avenue A location. That’s where I met Ayana. I was really impressed by her energy and kindness, which is what led me to write this review. I can honestly say that I haven’t met ma

This Danish coffee spot is honestly really pretty. The whole space feels super calm — kind of Scandinavian but also a bit Japanese? Hard to explain but it looks really nice. Even the cups and plates are super detailed. We got an Americano, a cardamom latte, and their famous cardamom bun. The Americano was pretty acidic… not really my thing. The cardamom latte is made with syrup, so it’s more sweet than anything, doesn’t really have that strong spice flavor. The bun was fine, but it honestly jus

With so many Starbucks around town, this one really stands out. The staff are fantastic, friendly, welcoming, and on top of everything. The absolute cutest bookstore/coffee tea shop! I went for an author book signing and it was adorable. It is very small but definitely mighty. There are so many great books in this little shop. I’m glad Kim Guerra had her book event there because now I have discovered another great little shop to visit.

Rosalia’s cafe is clean and well kept; and their artwork is minimal and beautiful. This cafe needs to work on adding moisture and seasoning to bring out the flavor within their food. My party ordered the broccoli omelette platter, pancakes, and an egg and cheese sandwich. The broccoli omelette was a bit firm and needed more moisture, salt, and herbs to bring out the flavor. The cheese on the sandwich could have been melted and needs some sauce to bring it together. The pancakes could be slightly

I had a nice experience at Cuppa Tea 廣芳園. The drinks have a good Hong Kong-style flavor, and the taste feels authentic and not overly sweet. The staff were friendly and patient, and the shop has a casual, comfortable vibe. I especially like that they offer both drinks and snacks, so it’s a good spot to stop by for a quick treat. I make my lattes at home so I am considerate of where I purchase lattes while traveling. I saw Blank Street and worried it would taste like normal chain coffee. I didn’t know what to get so I asked the barista and she recommended the cookie butter latte. It did not taste like artificial syrups and was pretty good. I’m glad I stopped here.
