Best drinks especially in a heat wave and they always make everything fresh. I don’t understand the low reviews at all ?? The menu prices are in front of you and they are easy to understand. I went with my brother and the cashiers were so kind and sweet!! My mom even comes here after work and they always make the drinks perfect. I really recommend coming just be sure to be a lil patient since they make everything fresh 🤍 also way less of a crowd then the other boba shops so that’s amazing!

New location in Dumbo is fantastic. So much fun to explore every nook and cranny of this store. Hard to choose between the fun dish cloths, city skyline patterns on the plates and hilarious sayings on the mugs. Easily spend all week staying here. Treated my group to iced coffees which were delectable at their espresso bar. Staff was friendly and available for all our questions. We will most definitely be back!

Grab and go kind of boba place staffed by an apathetic worker. There is no seating for dine in. There are two chairs below their sign. 80% was quite sweet for me. This place is on the sweeter side. I couldn't taste much of the tea flavor. I would get 30% sugar next time. I might come here again since not many choices in the area. Accepts credit card.

Such a gem! Turned out so good. I tried one of their Indonesian specialties, the Es Campur with the cocopandan slushy and it absolutely hit the spot. If you want a change from standard boba options, definitely check out their Indonesian delights menu. Highly recommend!

Cute spot to have in the neighborhood! Love the black tea and their fruit tea flavors. I like that they have cheese foam, wish they had pudding/custard too (my favorite topping). Cake slices are surprisingly tasty. Price is inexpensive. The pearls are pretty good, better than the average spot I would say.

Just visited the new Gong Cha at 1414 Sheepshead Bay Road and it’s already my new go-to spot! The store is clean, modern, and welcoming. I ordered the Strawberry Matcha with almond milk and pearls (pictured) — and it was absolutely delicious. The layers of fresh strawberry, creamy almond milk, chewy pearls, and smooth matcha on top blended perfectly. The staff were friendly, quick, and made sure everything came out just right. You can really taste the freshness and quality in their drinks. It’s

Fiftylan is one of my favorite boba chains in NYC, and this time I visited this new Nolita location. The storefront is tiny without any seating. I usually get their bubble milk tea or peach green tea macchiato. *Golden Bubble Milk Tea My go-to drink at Fiftylan. The tea base is fragrant and rich, and the golden bubbles have the perfect chew, not too hard and not soggy. *Dark Lava Milk Tea This was actually my first time trying a cracking drink, and it was so fun! The cracking effect wasn’t sup

Second time getting from here. This time through delivery, I was sent a pair of reusable straws, which was a great complementary touch. The first time I went. The two baristas showed me and my girlfriend a white raspberry mocha for Valentine’s Day, and it was delicious. I also got a thing of avocado toast that day and mini pancakes. Everything was absolutely extraordinary. Both of the baristas were extremely nice and friendly. I would definitely come here again. Found a new coffee spot finally.

Bubble tea was ok. The girl selling bubble tea is a scammer. She overcharged me for the item that was ordered from the menu. After I told her that the price in the menu is less than what she charged me, the girl told me that the price in the menu was wrong. She took my $20 cash bill refused to provide proper change for the bubble tea on which she clearly overcharged me. I have soooooo many questions about Dr. Tea. I live a building over, and I follow its comings and goings like I would a true crime docuseries. When it first opened (in the spring) I thought, okay, not where I would put a boba tea spot, but sure! Who doesn’t love a boba tea? It’s then open for… a month? Then a sign appears in the door: “Temporarily closed. Sorry for the inconvenients.” Hm. Interesting. So soon? Maybe a small thing… But it’s closed the ENTIRE summer—at least three months. Come th

The service was subpar and the bartenders were rude. They added auto grat on our bill which only consisted of drinks (and it is not mentioned on the menu that they will take auto grat on drinks, only on food). Got an attitude when we asked them to remove it (since it was not supposed to be added to our bill and we wanted to leave our own tip) and verbally showed annoyance, which I felt was poor hospitality. We only went because we got vouchers to use at the bar, but I would not spend my own mone

MUJI Market is one of my favorite stores at Chelsea Market! This shop truly has a little bit of everything! It has food, home supplies, clothes, and even aromatherapy and stationary. I have visited at various times during the day. My most recent visit was on a Saturday morning. It wasn’t crowded and was easy to walk through and shop. Previously, I visited in the afternoon. It was extremely crowded and a bit difficult to walk through due to the amount of people so I highly recommend going in the

The history of film, television & digital media told via interactive displays, plus screenings.
The Museum of the Moving Image was a pretty fun weekend date spot to go with my wife. There are a lot of exhibits that are really interactive, and there's tons of interesting information about various films and TV shows. I loved seeing things like the movie cameras that have been used over the years. Very fascinating. The one downside is that it can be really crowded sometimes. This is especially an issue with the interactive stuff. There were huge lines to see some of the interactive things. M

The 'Red, Black & Green' exhibition by Shani Crowe is worth the visit! It was well curated, and spaced. The café area of the museum is often active. Instantly fell in love with this cafe/vintage furniture store. The owner Chyelle gave me a great deal on a mirror and some knick-knacks. I even spent an afternoon working at one of the big tables in the back of the store and was really comfortable and contented. I don’t really drink caffeine and ended up having a chamomile lemonade that truly ripped. Ended up having a fun chat with the owner about antiquing and thrift. In the end she offered me a small piece of watermelon which was so sweet an

I am beyond frustrated with Thuma’s customer service and communication, which were absolutely abysmal. When I placed an order for a full living room set in October—spending nearly $10,000—I was explicitly told that delivery would not occur until mid-January. I made it very clear that I was hosting both Thanksgiving and Christmas and asked whether anything could be done to accommodate that timeline. I was flatly told no. I have since learned that the furniture was ready for delivery nearly two

We had a great stay! Every single employee we encountered was friendly and went out of their way to assist us - doorman, bellhop, front desk, etc. The room was spacious, much bigger than rooms at the Hyatt Grand Central nearby where I've stayed before. Location was great. You can see Grand Central from the hotel entrance. Renovations are very nice as well. $55/24 hr negotiated parking rate was reasonable.

I came in as a walk-in and had the pleasure of meeting Leu. My hair was moderately damaged, and she was incredibly kind and accommodating in fitting me in for a haircut, wash, and blow dry. From the start, she was very gentle and attentive, making sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire appointment. I ended up really loving both the service and the final result. She charged by hair length, which I appreciated for the transparency.
