I purchased food and dessert for my family, including a cake. While my daughter was eating it, she noticed mold on the cake. This was extremely upsetting and unacceptable, especially since it was meant to be enjoyed together as a family. Food should never be sold in this condition. I expected much better quality control.

Kind of disappointing, the place is gorgeous and have s good atmosphere. It server was super nice and we ordered a coconut shrimp that's delicious. Cocktail was bahhh, not very good to be honest. We have the "doble p". Very simple, not sugar. Then our server have to go, they forgot we were there. We order wings, and they took more than 20 minutes to bring a simple overcooked/burned wings. No one came to check on us, I asked the guy to bring the food for a beer, and 20 minutes later I have to

Came here unexpectedly and it ended up being a blessing. These were the best empanadas I’ve tasted by far — full of tender meat, and the outer crust was packed with flavor. The sauce compliments the empanada perfectly. The grilled chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Same can be said for the beans which had tons of flavor, the plantains which were sweet and charred perfectly, and finally the rice and tostones.

Had a great Sunday afternoon luncheon here with family! All the food was home-cooked and super-fresh. Pupusas have delicious melted cheese. Beef Tacos were the best I've ever had! Flavorful seasoned beef with fresh salad & avocado toppings, and tasty crisp tortilla shells were so good! Also, the ambiance of the restaurant is very colorful and cheerful. Highly recommend!

La Isla is simply the best food ever. The beautiful women help customers with their great attitude. The cooks do a superb job of making sure the flavor is on point. The food was absolutely delicious and came out fresh and well-prepared, which made the whole visit even better. Great service paired with great food made this a wonderful dining experience. Extremely snotty and unprofessional . I ordered tostones and chicharron de pollo along with a steak sandwich. The tostones were supper soggy the chicharron was not seasoned correct tasted like raw meat . I had to turn back to return my steak sandwich it was made sloppy dry and the chunks of onions were totally unappetizing. Everything was raw and the presentation I give it a 0 . I will never buy from this place again even the Maddy behind the counter was rude and snotty , From when I arrived to

I didn't go for the food, I can't speak to the food. I went and sat at the bar and had a few mocktails. The bar tender was excellent, he was engaging and knowledgeable, giving great rundowns of the mocktails, their profiles and giving great suggestions. The atmosphere is good as well, it's kind of small but I enjoyed my time.

I have passed by and saw a crowded food place. Got in. The food smelled delicious and I got their menu to read while on the bus. Next day I ordered by phone the fried pork chops. Delicious! Their arroz moro. Delicious. Now I will keep tasting every single article in their menu. Home style food at reasonable pricing.

Ordered on a Saturday around 9. Delivery was quick. The Pollo Guisado was great the Pernil was a bit dry. As well as the arroz con gandules, still both good flavor (this could be due to me ordering late as it looks like their food sits out all day; it’s probably better during lunch but no excuse nonetheless) they were out of oxtails by this time else I would’ve ordered that as well. The plantains were good. Overall a reliable spot for Dominican food.

Horrible service. I went there about 3-4 times. Fish is cold, food is ok at best. I've been trying to give this place a shot on Multiple occasions. Eveytime it just keeps getting worse. The people there don't know what to charge. The final straw was that I had to wait for someone that came from outside after about a good 7minutes to give me the price. Ridiculous don't know how there still in business. I'm sorry to say but if this place gets good reviews it gotta be people who didn't grow up in

My friend and I stumbled upon this restaurant for dinner, and I’m so glad we did! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the backyard seating area is beautiful. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and happy to answer all of our questions about the menu. For drinks, we ordered the Lime Mojito and the Moscow Mule, both were refreshing and delicious. am extremely disappointed with both the food and the customer service I received today. I have been a regular customer for a long time. When I called to place my order, I was driving in heavy traffic. The employee who answered the phone, Soledad, told me that I had to pay before they would start preparing the food. As a result, I had to pull over to provide my credit card information. My order totaled approximately $70. When I got home, I was very upset to see that the "Galea Familiar" portion

Mexican street food served in a laid-back eatery with decor inspired by the 1986 FIFA World Cup.
Walked in for lunch and were seated in a comfortable spot. The only discomfort came from the constant opening of their door on a freezing Sat afternoon and non-existent heating at this place. Got the Guacamole & Chips ($16), Puebla ($11.95) for 2, and Mushroom Tacos ($11.85) which were the best on our table. I wish they'd let you mix and match but the condition is to get two of each kind! Noise levels were on the lower end, and service was kick. Food arrived within 15-mins of ordering. Highly

I didn't realize they had separate brunch and dinner menus, and most of the items I originally wanted were from the dinner menu. However, after trying their brunch, I am 100% coming back for dinner! Everything we ordered was incredibly good and well seasoned. Steak & Eggs (5/5): Cooked to a perfect medium-rare, super juicy, and well-seasoned. The sauce pairing was spot on. Croque Madame (5/5): A unique take on a classic! They served it wrapped in a crepe, and all the elements paired together

This was an amazing place!! I came here with my family and everyone was delighted. The woman who attended to us was a sweetheart and very patient as we had placed a big order. The jugo de maracuya en leche tasted so close to the one I had in Medellin. The chuzo was perfect, the arepa I wasn’t a big fan of but that’s more of how I have a personal preference for a crisper arepa. There’s options for pork or chicken chuzos, I tried both and the pork definitely won. I will say we got very lucky beca

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ When they say “Brooklyn Meets Mexico” they’re not kidding. THE VIBE: Full-length windows, banners cascading from the ceiling, and a stamped metal chandelier that looks like it belongs in an Oaxacan courtyard. Out back, a patio overflowing with cacti and succulents that somehow makes you forget you're in the city. Funky, warm, and completely its own thing. Secondly the bbq meat was very hard and dry. I could tell by the first bite that the meat wasn’t fresh due to its texture being very hard to chew not juicy not tender at all and the color looked off. The yuca lacked any flavor whatsoever so I added my own salt from home to give it some taste. The only thing t

Never in my life have I given such patronage to another restaurant. This place is amazing. Who knew nachos could transcend chip and topping???? Honestly, it feels like Michaelangelo resurrected and his creation of Adam was the nachos at cascalote? Deep fry a tortilla, add on some aguacate, pollo, y salsa and call it a dinner well spent. Maduros for dessert and margaritas/mojitos until you can’t see straight. I love this restaurant and the community behind it. 10/10 cannot recommend enough.

The space is smaller than it appears in photos, creating a cozy environment, though it can feel a bit tight during busier hours. Best pupusas in New York! I used to live in Central America and I love pupusas, but I hadn’t found any in NY that tasted exactly the same until I came to El Continental. I thought all restaurants offered complimentary water while you wait. So, when they asked if I wanted a drink, I said, “Just water,” but they brought me a bottled water. When I asked if I would be charged for it, they said I had to specify whether I wanted bottled water or fountain water. I returned the bottled water. The rice with beef and chicken was flavorful. The breaded chicken breast was so tender and well seasoned. Honestly, the best I’ve had from a casual restaurant, which is crazy I wasn’t expecting that. It was really tasty.
