I purchased food and dessert for my family, including a cake. While my daughter was eating it, she noticed mold on the cake. This was extremely upsetting and unacceptable, especially since it was meant to be enjoyed together as a family. Food should never be sold in this condition. I expected much better quality control.

Came here unexpectedly and it ended up being a blessing. These were the best empanadas I’ve tasted by far — full of tender meat, and the outer crust was packed with flavor. The sauce compliments the empanada perfectly. The grilled chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Same can be said for the beans which had tons of flavor, the plantains which were sweet and charred perfectly, and finally the rice and tostones.

I had my best Goat in Bronx. Meat is tender and juicy, full with flavor. Can’t get enough from the menu and the price is best for everyday meals. Friendly service like home. Highly recommend!

Had a great Sunday afternoon luncheon here with family! All the food was home-cooked and super-fresh. Pupusas have delicious melted cheese. Beef Tacos were the best I've ever had! Flavorful seasoned beef with fresh salad & avocado toppings, and tasty crisp tortilla shells were so good! Also, the ambiance of the restaurant is very colorful and cheerful. Highly recommend!

Extremely snotty and unprofessional . I ordered tostones and chicharron de pollo along with a steak sandwich. The tostones were supper soggy the chicharron was not seasoned correct tasted like raw meat . I didn't go for the food, I can't speak to the food. I went and sat at the bar and had a few mocktails. The bar tender was excellent, he was engaging and knowledgeable, giving great rundowns of the mocktails, their profiles and giving great suggestions. The atmosphere is good as well, it's kind of small but I enjoyed my time.

I have passed by and saw a crowded food place. Got in. The food smelled delicious and I got their menu to read while on the bus. Next day I ordered by phone the fried pork chops. Delicious! Ordered on a Saturday around 9. Delivery was quick. The Pollo Guisado was great the Pernil was a bit dry. Best pupusas in New York! I used to live in Central America and I love pupusas, but I hadn’t found any in NY that tasted exactly the same until I came to El Continental. All the other food is also excellent and the waitresses are really nice. In the summer they open all the windows and it’s like seating outdoors. The breaded chicken breast was so tender and well seasoned. Honestly, the best I’ve had from a casual restaurant, which is crazy I wasn’t expecting that. It was really tasty. A little pricier but the portion size was good for the price, and they do cover most Latin foods. Overall, very clean, and a nice place to take a group of people.
