Had a really fantastic meal here in March. The table settings were really unique and stylish, but it was the food that really blew me away. As I was trying to finish the rice (first time ordering from here) , I noticed something shaped like a mouse poop. At first I thought it was a burned rice. I tried breaking it in half. If it was rice it would have broken easily even though its burned. But it was very hard to break. If you notice on the other 2 photos how this yellow liquid came out of it. Came here last night for a birthday and had a really good time. Excellent service, the staff were so cool, they even apologized for making us wait for drinks because it was busy but there was nothing to apologize for. Small little place with a big personality and great food! They have a great fryer! The rice balls, fried ravioli and truffle fries were on point, soft in the center and crispy on the outside. What a cool find! Small, family-run cafe with a lot of soul. The owner knows a TON about coffee - we talked about how he sources beans, roasts them (yes, they roast their own beans!) and picks blends for the perfect cup. I had the stew chicken with rice and peas and cabbage from Patty Plus and everything was absolutely delicious. Straight up just incredibly fantastic coffee and coffee drinks. We got the pistachio latte, dirty tonic, and an espresso. Sizes (for the drinks) are large compared to most other place we’re used to, which is absolutely fantastic! We just came back from our honeymoon yesterday, are transiting NYC on our way back to SF, and this place makes it feel like we’re still on vacation. Wish this place existed in SF. Seriously.

The coffee here is excellent and the staff is both friendly and professional. It’s located in a great area, making it a perfect local spot when it’s actually open. However, the main issue is the lack of consistency with their operating hours. The place is often closed, and the hours listed on Google are frequently incorrect. It would be a much better experience if they could provide a reliable schedule for their customers.

Sincerely some of the best pizza in all 5 boroughs, and I never go to pizza places for the service but the gentleman who runs the place treats it like a Michelin star restaurant in the best way possible. Super cool place with unbelievably fast service, good food, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. My wife and I both got pizzas. They're a good size for one person without leaving you stuffed or taking any away. I had the special that night that had capocolla, asparagus, white sauce and truffle oil. It was pretty great. We came in here not knowing what to expect.. we got a couple of the pho bowls.. I got the chicken with shredded meat as well as the Bahn Mi sandwich... I was completely blown away with those as well as the spring rolls...Just completely so delicious and tasty... Very tasty seasonal tea options. The cafe had a large amount of seating perfect for studying or catching up with friends. The drink in the far back of the photo was my friends, so I didn’t get a close up. Her’s had a very refreshing strawberry flavor, and mine was cool and floral. Would definitely visit again :)

I went to this place with my family for my birthday. It is a very cute little place and I loved the food here. It is very close to Brooklyn Tabernacle so we walked from the church after secure for a late lunch. Everyone was hungry and the food was delicious.
