Great coffee spot! I was looking forward to trying this place out because they offer mugs for coffee and it didn't disappoint (I avoid spots that don't have mugs). I also like that they're open late, until 7pm every day. I always found it odd that almost every coffee spot in Brooklyn closes at 5 so it was nice to find this spot. Ok folks this is Nostrand avenue and this little stretch of Little Haiti has not changed much. So as far as atmosphere in area it is pretty busy and not kept up like nicer areas in Brooklyn. As far as the food, the Peppas brand is know for great Jamaican food and this location does not disappoint. The service is great and very inclusive to all people. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. I have been here several times since the new year and will continue to support!

We were served by a charming man, he was friendly and very helpful. Honestly, just thinking about the food from here is enough to make me want to go back already. So my mother told me they had a duck curry special. The way it was worded made it seem like you were getting two meals. They had written on Uber Eats "curry duck meals for two." I guess I misunderstood. The guy was helpful in getting the order. They didn't have a lot remaining, so he made it available on Uber Eats so I could order. You could smell how sour it was as soon it was opened. My favorite spot for oxtail (fishers cove) closed down all its locations and I was in need of some good oxtails. Should've discovered this place long ago cause when I say they have the best. Do Not Order From Them. The food is absolutely horrible. I have never taste food so bad from a restaurant. Do not order from them. I should have read the reviews before I ordered. the food and the lemonades were disgusting. The only edible thing in my order was the syrup. I visited your establishment on Sunday morning and purchased an Ackee and Saltfish dish with fried dumplings. I found the dumplings to be excessively oily, and the proportion of saltfish significantly outweighed the ackee. This experience was unsatisfactory, and I believe there is a need for improvement in your food preparation standards.

Ordered from Grubhub with specific instructions. They followed none of it. Chicken was old, oily, and cold. I don’t live far from this location either. Like some pieces of chicken was from the day before. Veggies too oily and overcooked, sappy sappy. And the sauce needs some scotchy.. just tastes sweet. They have potential to be better and I enjoy supporting my ppl. But until they improve, I’ll seldom order.
