A pure vegetarian restaurant in New York and that too offering all you can it or what we call back in India...unlimited Gujrati Thali. Awesome Indian style sitting. Beautiful Decorations with Idol of Ganesh and beautiful paintings on walls. A fixed set menu but you can get all variety in it. Authentic Gujrati taste just like back home. Variety of Indian starters, main course with options of breads like chapati aur fulkas or rotlis. Indian style daal rice or pulav. And at the end Indian Desserts.

Their pastrami is still one of the best, almost on par with Katz. But the ambiance is way superior to Katz so the dining experience is better. The sandwiches we ordered were: pastrami, corned beef and lox. For the lox we were given tofu based cream cheese (Jewish dietary law forbids mixing meat and dairy for a meal) which was just as good as regular cream cheese. Next time the tongue sandwich.

This is one of the worst locations to be served at. The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. When I arrived at the store, one of the employees immediately assumed I wasn’t going to buy anything. On top of that, I had to wait 10 minutes just to get a bottle of water. What made the experience even worse was overhearing an employee tell a customer that the bathroom was closed only after they had already made a purchase.

The pita with chicken gyro was very flavourful, seasoned well and tasted fresh. The staff were nice and quite efficient. Appreciate that they have plenty of seating by the window. Would go back to try different items.

Heard about this place and decided to drop by for a coffee. However, after ordering, they suggested trying their turon, which was fantastic. I had the ube coconut latte—it was so good—one of the best when it comes to ube lattes. As for the turon, it was sweet and crispy, filled with tasty banana; another winner. They don’t open the store on time at all. It states on the door open at 10:45 am. I have been here multiple times at the time there suppose to open. The doors don’t open until 11am or after. For a person who has a lunch time at 10:30 am and have a 30 min break, it’s unacceptable!!!! Then to see the workers sitting down eating when the doors should be open is like a smack in the face! Chipotle you have to do better!!!!! If corporate came out and saw this happening it would be very disappointing!!

I was exploring Murray Hill neighbourhood in New York and I walked into Freehand Hotel to look in the lobby and saw a sign that said Rooftop Patio, the front desk staff said the entrance is outside at the side of the building, it was a cool setup to go up in an old elevator. Went for the first time the weekend after Paddy's day and the great band Watchfire was playing great Irish tunes. Cranberries, Galway Girl, Rattlin' Bog etc. Lots of fun favorites and high energy. There is nothing I can say that is bad about this place. The kindest staff you can ask for, very good pizza, quick service, not overpriced, extended seating for outside, and a large variety menu.
