My first experience trying an Afghan food and Wow was it good! I had the Bronzini which was cooked to perfection. At one with a group of girlfriends and every single person completely clear their plate. The service was amazing and the restaurant itself has a really relaxed ambience. If you've ever wanted to try food from Afghanistan and are in the Queens area I 100% recommend Kabuli Grill. Oh and don't forget to order Firnee for dessert! Taste better than Creme Brulee!

I honestly don’t know why this place was not packed. I’m in New York for three days and I’ve gone all 2/3 days. The food is plentiful, hot and taste great. 100/10, I would recommend. Sorrell is really good and not too heavy on the ginger.

I had an amazing experience at Darjeeling Kitchen and Cafe in Long Island! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere instantly transported me to Darjeeling—the décor, the vibe, and the cozy ambiance made it feel like a little getaway. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home and attentive to all our needs. This was our first time trying the restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised by the unique flavors. The food was deliciously different in the best way! We

I absolutely loved everything! I was visiting the area. Unfortunately, I was leaving the next day and was very tired BUT I regret not just sitting there longer to eat the rest of my food. LOL it was so good and I will make a trip back to NY from ATL just for this restaurant. I got the most popular items to try the “must have”. If you’re looking for traditional Korean cuisine, you must come here. I went alone, but it was definitely shareable.

Laid-back spot featuring a large diner-style menu with breakfast fare, burgers & home-style mains.
I've been eating at griddle for several years now and the food has always been delicious but the past 6 weeks have been horrible. 6 weeks ago I went with a friend that's Dominican, we ordered separately but got the same meal. His cost $10 and change, mine was $12.47 . He got coffee, I got nothing but pancakes and sausage. Last week during lunch I went in as was only one there at the moment. I ordered pancakes and sausage. It cost $9 and change.i also had to wait more than 30 minutes for my order

Had a wonderful experience at Dim Sum Palace. The dim sum was fresh, authentic, and beautifully prepared. The shrimp dumplings, siu mai, and barbecue pork buns were especially delicious. Service was prompt even during a busy time, and the staff made us feel very welcome. Prices were reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable and enjoyable dim sum restaurant.

One of my favorite neighborhood restaurants. Somehow felt the quality of noodle, in terms of flavor and chewyness, has declined recently. Hope it's just my one-time experience. Like their menu and speed of service.

I had a great time at the Record Room. It’s a speakeasy, which I thought was so cool. The music was different from what I’m used to, but I still enjoyed the vibes and the drinks. I do recommend making reservations, our table was reserved for limited time although it was perfect for us.

+ Get $25 off using the link on my profile! Honestly the cocktails were not good, too sweet for my tastes. The raspberry one (rosé) also tasted like cough syrup. But their redeeming factor is that until 8pm Mon-Fri they have happy hour where ALL the cocktails are half price. And at $8-$10 per drink, I’m just paying for the views at that point. The views are great too, and the spot is decorated nicely. What I’d suggest is coming here before 8pm, maybe getting a beer instead of cocktails, and jus

Fried chicken tenders, wings & burgers, plus Korean classics served in a stylish setting.
I recently checked out Kuku, a Korean restaurant in Long Island City, and it definitely hit the spot. I ordered the spicy chicken bibimbap, which came out as a very generous serving—the bowl was packed so full that I almost wasn’t able to finish the meal, but it was too good to leave behind. It comes served with a fantastic variety of side dishes that completely justify the price point. If you go, just don’t forget to thoroughly mix the rice with the sauce that comes with it to get the perfect b

Been wanting to try this place for awhile now. Got the caramel egg tart, matcha egg tart and tiramisu egg tart. The tiramisu was not bad but it wasn't as crispy. The matcha was yummy. The caramel one was good but I didn't taste any caramel in it. Overall the egg tarts were delicious and I would definitely go back for some more and try some of their drinks. Everything looks so good.....

Hot Peppers LIC is an absolute gem! A halal-friendly spot that delivers big flavor with every single order. Their burritos, bowls, tacos, and quesadillas are all made fresh and to your exact preference, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. The ingredients are always fresh, the portions are generous, and the service is fast and friendly. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or picking up dinner for the family, they never disappoint. Highly recommended for anyone looking for deli

Old-school booth-&-counter coffee shop serving typical American meals, including breakfast.

The place is clean, peaceful, and offers a great variety of delicious food. It’s a nice spot to sit down and enjoy your meal comfortably. Unfortunately, the customer service could be improved. The person who attended me was not attentive or friendly, which affected the overall experience a bit. Other than that, everything was very good. If they improve the service, this place would be excellent.

Their milk tea is my favorite—especially the classic silk stocking milk tea. It’s incredibly smooth and delicious whether you get it hot or iced. I also love the yuanyang, a perfect mix of milk tea and coffee that gives you a great afternoon boost. The pineapple bun with butter is a must-order—crispy on top, soft inside, and the butter makes it extra fragrant. I’m also a big fan of their egg waffles. The original flavor is my go-to, but the salted egg yolk with pork floss one I tried this time

We were on holiday in New York and flew in late, thankfully this place was open! The prices are good value, the portion sizes are big, and the food tastes good. It’s a proper old school family Chinese restaurant which I love! We actually got food from there two nights in a row because it was so convenient. You know a place is good when the locals go there.

A very casual place to dine in! We went at lunchtime on a weekend, and the restaurant was very busy since they only had one staff member taking care of the customers (but he did a very, very great job!). The whole experience was amazing for me, from the friendly service to the tasty food. My husband and I ordered 7 tacos and 1 al pastor platter. We thought we could finish everything, but we were soooo full that we couldn't finish the platter. I'll give my MVP to the beef tongue taco, which

My first time eating here and it easily became one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood! The Mekong Salad was so tasty with the crunchy fried tofu, pickled onions, and ginger dressing. Loved the crispy duck as well as the Lechon Kare Kare (seasonal I think?). The lechon was so satisfyingly crunchy and the peanut sauce was delicious over it. The staff was so incredibly sweet and the atmosphere is great as well. As a bonus, I loved the 90s-00s rnb/rap playlist they had playing.

Came here on New Years Eve after my flight to the city was delayed and we spent New Years on a plane. This bar made up for the terrible experience I had been having that night. Both Veronica, and her daughter were the most pleasant bar hosts and patrons. I felt at home, and the vibes were amazing. If I visit again, I'll definitely be spending my money here again.

Along with the usual espresso and beverage menu, this café surprisingly offers a lot of food options (pastries, sandwiches, acai bowls, and salads) which is more than I was expecting for an espresso bar. I got a large Matcha Latte ($5), Blueberry Scone ($?? ), Caramel Donut ($4), and a Banana Bread ($7). The Matcha Latte was creamy and nutty and delicious. It was also such a bargain at five bucks! The Blueberry Scone was tender and flaky. I actually don’t know how much I paid for this one a

We each got a bagel and cream cheese. The whole wheat bagel & tofu spread with veggies was good! The service was fast. It was around $6 for each. They didn’t have a whole wheat flagel, but we got there late morning 11am, so maybe they sold out…

Unfussy Chinese take-out joint with a few tables offering standards from egg rolls to chop suey.
Rating: 6/10 Date Last Visited: 10/12/2025 I ordered a beef dish and Chicken and Broccoli Combination ($12) with Pork Fried Rice and soup. The chicken and broccoli was pretty delicious - the chicken was not dry and there was a good amount of vegetables that tasted great. The fried rice itself was good too. The beef dish was a little underwhelming, as there were only a few pieces of beef, which made me feel like I was eating most veggies with a side of meat. This is a very classic Chinese takeou

This is definitely a tight spot that is usually super crowded but I stumbled past it on a rare rainy morning where it was only half full so I got to try it out. The host is also the server and I believe it's just one person for the four tables, they were very nice and pleasant, and most importantly efficient. I tried the mango coco crepe and the mango latte. Both were good! I kind of assumed the crepe would be filled with coconutty sticky rice ... It wasn't, but I think I just made that assumpti

I love this place. I’ve been here twice and it’s exactly what I’m looking for on a Sunday afternoon. Easy, fresh and quick service and they even give a free app. It’s so hard to find a good vegan / vegetarian Thai curry and theirs is so good. I got the green curry and the pumpkin curry and both were awesome.

We really enjoyed this place! My wife ordered a cheese omelet and I had a veggie omelet. We asked for 3 eggs each, but honestly that turned out to be a lot of food — especially since they also served it with delicious potatoes and two slices of warm bread with butter. Everything was very tasty, the portions were generous, and the people here are very friendly and welcoming. Prices are good too. Highly recommend this spot for breakfast!

Black Seed Bagels is such a great coffee and bagel spot in Long Island City. The entire space is minimal, modern, and incredibly aesthetic without feeling overdone. It's the kind of place that's perfect for grabbing breakfast, enjoying a coffee, or spending some time catching up on work. The bagels are fantastic; fresh, perfectly toasted, and generously filled without being overloaded. One thing I really appreciated was that the cream cheese was balanced instead of piled on so heavily that it o
