I was in town for the weekend and stopped by The Sugar Bar to hear one of my favorite artists—and the moment I walked in, the atmosphere pulled me in. Having spent time in Kenya in the past, I couldn’t help but appreciate the space even more. The walls are layered with African-inspired décor and musical instruments, a straw canopy stretches over the full-length bar, and colorful masks frame the entryways. Warm orange light filters through sculpted red piping, giving the room a glow that feels

Sunday lunch walk-in and we were seated right away. Place wasn't busy at 1 pm and plenty of tables were open. We got a perfect outdoor seat and placed our order for some delicious salads. They had a brunch menu and the regular menu, which is where we ordered from. Order included Meddo Salad ($13.75), Yesil Salad ($13.75) with Salmon ($10), and Shepherd Salad ($14.75) - which was absolutely delicious. Food took a while to arrive - over 25 mins, but the outdoor seating a nice breeze going on! S

Small neighborhood salumi shop & restaurant, with Tuscan small plates, wine & cured meats.
One of the best meals I've ever had. I love broccoli rabe and this place served it up in a way that far exceeded anything I've ever had. Same goes for the caponata. The Orichiette and Salisicchia was plainly outstanding. It was so unbelievably good. Service staff was very friendly and inviting. The place was packed, but they squeezed us (2) for dinner at 6pm nonetheless. I would recommend reservations. Sooooo good. 10/10 would return.

New to the area and so glad I discovered this place! The food is delicious, the inside of the restaurant is really cute, the staff is nice, and the outdoor seating is great. Had the chicken and cauliflower, both were amazing, and the coffee here is really good too. Coffee is very important! Definitely coming back.

This is the best pastry shop in this part of the Upper West Side. A huge variety and everything has been delicious. I also like to come here for coffee and sandwiches. I like the croissant donuts, but it's not nearly as good as the original "Cronut' at Dominique Ansel in SOHO. I also like the strawberry croissant, filled with custard cream, and the chocolate supreme croissant. Yum!

Very busy on a Sunday morning. It was pretty loud and not much standing room to wait. It was also a little chaotic to order and pay. My bagel was ready very quickly, maybe a 5-10 minute wait. It was perfectly hot and very delicious. Would definitely go here again next time i’m in the city!

Unfortunately, I have to leave this review every time I come to this location everybody looks miserable sad like they don’t wanna be there and when making the food they don’t put no love into it. They just slap it together. I asked for light sour cream and she just slaps it on there. I got two veggie tacos and they still charge me three dollars for guacamole on the side which that’s not the policy but I’m not gonna argue over three dollars but it’s just the principal cause I get the same thing e

I try to contact them and rectify it but with no sucsess they just not care so this is my review. Ordered the Nova Scotia Salmon Sandwich - $14.25 (not including tax delivery fee and all the extras) for delivery and got THIS disgusting mess instead (see photo). Absolutely no accountability from anyone on the team. This is unacceptable and honestly embarrassing for a business to serve. What a joke!! Shame on you!!

I adore e’s!!! My go-to for about 3 years now. I had a snafu with a third party reservation and they swooped in to save the day immediately. E’s is the real deal for great drinks, awesome food (the burger and the RANCH), and the best staff in the city. Will recommend forever!

Absolutely loved my experience at this restaurant! The grilled octopus was a standout dish—10/10 for sure! The flavors were incredible, and it was cooked to perfection. The fried cauliflower was equally impressive, also a 10/10; they had the perfect crunch and flavor. The romesco salmon was spot on, beautifully balanced and delicious. Although I only stopped in because of my stay with the hotel, I really would have expected more. The interiors are a basic IKEA catalog photo, however the views of the city are pretty decent. Pricing was mild compared to other places I have been to in large cities, but the food did not apparently come with salt. Do you need to pay extra for that? Asking for a friend. Very solid sushi spot on the UWS. Nice variety of kitchen appetizers and well rounded rolls and à la carte sushi. Dark horse favorite dish was the often humble tomago (Japanese omelet sushi). They have dinner combos which come with your choice of a rice and Tostones or Maduros.Their green sauce is a must have (upon request.) I had a lovely dinner with my parents here. The atmosphere was pretty unique with a maze like restaurant, alcoves and cozy intimate seating. The menu was great and food delicious!
