The staff here are very friendly and helpful. There isn’t much seating but there are some counters. I tried the lemon matcha spring menu item with almond milk instead of oat milk, which I would not recommend because it was overpowering the matcha and too sweet but their lattes and mochas are generally solid at Blank Street. Keep in mind the matcha fruit drinks are all very sweet and can’t really be made much less sweet. I went Sunday afternoon so I didn’t need to wait.

I remember when this location had a different set up then it is now around like 2016/2018. How it is now I am disgusted and appalled. I know times have changed. I recently visited Teriyaki One Japanese Grill and had a really great experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and nicely prepared. Stopped into Carlow East around 3 PM and had a great experience. The bartender was fantastic friendly, attentive, and had a great personality that made the visit enjoyable. Service was prompt, and they made sure everything was taken care of without being overbearing. The beer was cold, poured perfectly, and exactly what you want when stopping in for a drink. The Customer Service was excellent, friendly clean. But the food was not the best. I got 2 roast bake, 1 with saltfish and pumpkin and the other with Smoked Herring. The roast bake was dry like they made it with WholeWheat flour and it was tasteless. Thesalt fish and pumpkin had no taste. The Herring had flavor only because it was smoked herring but it was dry like it was over cooked. Not the best experience. I plan to go back and try the roti just to give them a chance

Fantastic rooftop spot! Stumbled into Margaritaville’s 5 o’clock Somewhere bar and loved it. The views from the rooftop are great, the cocktails are delicious and well-made, and the staff went completely out of their way to be friendly and welcoming. I didn't get any food this time around, but the drinks and hospitality alone make this a major recommendation. Will definitely be back!
