I live in the Bronx and I rate this location 999 stars and the customer service is excellent. I did not try the food but it looks really good and it smells good. It’s clean in here. It’s not a dirty environment so whoever’s cleaning excellent work. And hopefully tomorrow when I come back, I will definitely be buying a breakfast in here, and the staff is very polite and respectful to me and all of their customers.

Ordered a breakfast, ackee and saltfish. That is exactly what i got. No imagination, no spice, no salt (ironic). Just ackee and salfish cook up with a tiny blessing of black pepper and old onion. Love the fact that they used real cod fish with the bones and not the boneless pre package something, but thats where the praise ends. I stop by this place frequently and always have s great experience. I can’t speak to how crowded it gets at peak times, but whenever I was there the vibe was excellent—good music, great service, and really solid cocktails. Special shoutout to Tabetha behind the bar, who makes some of the best cocktails I’ve had in a while. Definitely worth stopping in if you appreciate a well-made drink.

Great experience at this upscale lounge. Live singing music accompanied the DJ while we enjoyed drinks and good hookah. One of the best dive bars in Brooklyn. Prices are great, the energy is good, tons of sports on tv, pool table, big outdoor area, and nice clean bathrooms. Plus they have a touch tune machine so you can play your own music And they’re very flexible with it too, not like other establishments where they shut off the music after a while or lower it cause they don’t like something that you played. Kathy’s Dumpling came through for Knicks fans during Knicks’ historic 2026 NBA Championship. They stayed open late during the Finals run, welcoming fans who packed the place to cheer on Bay Ridge. Took 55 min to be delivered and they are only 15 min away. Food was bland and boring. Asked for extra white sauce and didn’t get it. White sauce that I did get not authentic. I asked for mixed salad and got all rice with cucumbers. No lettuce. Overwhelming amount cucumbers. Put platter in a 3 compartment container Nothing had good flavor. Highly disappointing for all of us. Never ordering Shahs again. Not authentic at all. I can’t even finish it, it’s garbage.

I been going to this spot for 2 years. It’s been closed for a few months for reservations and just re-opened. This food is no longer worth it. The food does NOT taste the same. They keep lying saying the old chef is coming back but I can tell her not. Also the fried rice use to be like $15 it’s almost $30 now and however the flavor and taste is NO. Go somewhere else until they bring back the old chef she is the best.

Good quality and tasty food. Delivery is always quick. I have noticed that there is less and less rice on rolls. Probably a recession indicator. This last delivery it was one grain thick. I guess everyone has to be creative these days to make ends meet but it does affect the integrity of the roll so now the pieces fall apart easily.

I went to this Japanese milk tea place today and honestly the combo was pretty good. The onigiri was really good, definitely better than the one I had from another shop before. But there were a few things that disappointed me. When you order a combo, the drink options are really limited. You can only choose soda, classic milk tea, or passionfruit green tea. I visited Bombay Kakab yesterday and It was my first time trying indian food and it was honestly super good and flavorful. Every bite just felt like I was tasting something new. My friends and I got the chicken tikka masala and chicken biryani and the chicken was so flavorful! We also order the naan and we weren’t disappointed it was so good and buttery!! I can’t wait to revisit so I can try the other items on the menu. ❤️❤️

Neighborhood Coffee Shop /Neiberhud/ in SoHo feels like a little slice of Europe tucked into New York. They use Devoción coffee from Brooklyn, and you can really taste the quality in the cup. My flat white was perfectly done, smooth and silky with that nice balance of espresso and milk, no bitterness at all. I have ordered from Joe at bagel villa for years. He's my go to for catering orders for work and personal events. All orders always arrive on time and the food is always very fresh. We tried NTK today for the first time, for lunch. We ordered the pesto panini with the side of shoe string fries. The size of the meal is perfect for lunch, the pesto is absolutely delicious!!!! A little heavy on the garlic but that's not a negative, just an observation. Pomegranate Plunge Protein Smoothie is out of this world. The staff is always on point and the always fresh and iced cold. I advise to download the app so you can obtain rewards like! TSC is what you’re looking for to fill your stomach but not leave you with that drowsy feeling after eating Yaknow. Especially if you’re working and need something that will give you energy for the day. TSC is where it’s at.

This vegan spot is a great place to stop by and get a quick bite. I ordered the BLT, CBL, Ruben loaded fried, and their cauliflower salad and liked all of the items I tried. I’m not vegan, but my friend is. As the meat eater that I am, I would still recommend this place to non-vegans/vegetarians. Hopefully they will be able to expand in the future since there isn’t much seating/space.

Neighborhood gem over here!! Besides the food being so fresh (they get freshly milled flour for their daily baked bread), it’s delicious and the flavors are bright and well-balanced. Just as importantly, the owner Chris is gooooood people. He really made our day and whole experience, and you can feel the love and energy he has for Brooklyn and community through this place. Brought my son to have some burgers and fries at this spot because we’ve tried most places that serve burgers in the area. I figured why not try this spot as well, kinda hidden away from all the busier areas of the neighborhood. We were blown away from the burgers. They’re REAL burgers with nice thick patties. Not them trendy smash burgers that are all greasy, soft and small and overpriced. We both ordered the double bacon cheese burgers. Real nice thick slices of bacon. Where you felt satisfied

Looking for a place to use the restroom, I discovered this cafe one Saturday evening. Thank god I did! The raspberry and passion fruit tarts were really delicious. I deducted 1 star because of the vegan blueberry muffin (not pictured here). It was atrociously sweet. But otherwise the tarts, the ambience, the cute cafe charm and of course the sweetest employees will probably draw me again to this place.

Great neighborhood gay bar/club if you enjoy music with lyrics, ha. Crowd is younger and the neon sign above the bathroom “[do not feed drugs to the twinks]” indicates well the majority of this queer establishment’s patrons. It’s a lot of fun, and all genders are welcome. Bathroom lines can be long, similar to most smaller queer night clubs in the area. I had a great meal at Champs Gourmet Deli on 30 Broad St, NY. I ordered the meal of the day, which included beans, rice, pork sausages with onions, and boiled vegetables. The sausage was the highlight—probably the best I've ever had. The chicken soup was also flavorful, and it’s hard to find a meal like this for under $20 in the financial district. While the atmosphere could have been slightly better, everything else was spot on. I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m in the area.
