I just had the most epic lunch at this spot. Super chill quick service space inside of the Hugh. Epically friendly service from Tiffany who made great recommendations all while bagging up what looked to be a massive catering order. I had the Italian Cheesesteak on fresh ciabatta bread with a side of rosemary olive oil chips and not one but two chocolate chip cookies. Portions were generous and the taste of the truffle on that cheesesteak will live in my dreams forever. I will def be back!

The pastries were absolutely amazing. They were so rich in flavor and the flavors burst in my mouth. If you are looking for great drinks, and food at a great price on the Island, THIS IS IT!!! The bartender is freaking AMAZING!!! We went to celebrate my friends birthday, she was skeptical at first, but the bartender turned it up. $13.50 for all of this. In this economy?! Don’t come here for frills, just the food. The chef is Dominican so it’s Dominican food and pizza. Never had their pizza. Always get this or something like their fried pork chops. There’s some off days but there’s a few things that they get right every time. Well seasoned and the beans are always good! They could definitely renovate and clean a bit better but it’s nyc.

Certain meats are "Halal". Just ask in the counter. The owner is very nice and smart. Instead of turning everything into politics, he decided to accommodate certain dietary conditions for the business. Really admire his business move. Will go back anytime of the day.

The bartender was miserable and rude. Made the our drinks incorrectly and then was incredibly confrontational and defensive when this was pointed out to her. Allowed strangers to dictate alcohol that was put in our drinks. i would absolutely be overly cautious with your beverage and watch her extra carefully. she is extremely sketchy.

I loooove this place. I’ve been coming regularly for like three years now. Their sandwiches and bowls are delicious, but the desserts are what I’m actually obsessed with—specifically the chocolate almond macrons and the banana pudding. I think it’s better than Magnolia’s banana pudding.

Pretty good local spot for tacos. I grabbed some the other day for lunch, and they hit the spot. I had a steak, chicken, and pork al pastor. The al pastor had the best taste, but it was smaller than the rest. The chicken and steak were good, but I got a few chunks of fat in each, which was a bit of a turn-off. For the price, however, it was a good lunch.

In case you’re wondering what $44.69 gets you at this place, you’re looking at it! A couple rotten grapes, 2oz of nutrigrain bites, some dried out carrot and celery sticks, and a couple of mini turkey sliders with cheese so dried out it’s inedible. Don’t forget, the AC doesn’t work, either while you eat and wait for your delayed flight.

I find the selection here limited but the price point is lower, comparable to the mom and pop bakeries. Limited seating inside, and gets very busy in the mornings when the tour buses leave from there. Service at this location was slightly better than other Fay Da bakeries.

The most genuine people and such a great bar. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, truly goes above and beyond. Honestly, this is one of the best Dominican restaurants in the city, but what really won me over was the beans. They're so good and I never really go for beans at most restaurants. Only thing that holds them back is the lack of chicken on occasion.

I’m really disappointed because I genuinely like the food here and come often. However, I don’t appreciate the attitude or backtalk when I’m simply trying to order food my kids will actually eat. If I’m paying for the meal, I should be able to choose what I do and don’t want without any issue. This experience honestly makes me reconsider coming back.

Really well structured restaurant, ordered over the phone and it was really cheaper than any other restaurant, The chicken with broccoli was delicious and has the right amount of flavor, less salt and it's healthier. Came upon this cool, quaint, excellent coffee shop on Bleecker Street. Very grateful that I did. All meat is halal. We had the beef tripe and chicken gizzard which were just a little spicy not too much not too little just right, that is great because some places go crazy with the spice. We also had the century egg chicken roll dish, which tasted good the meat around the egg was a little smokey so it added flavor complexity. Definitely full of delicacies you can't get elsewhere, especially halal restaurants. Excited to go back to try different dishes, including some vegetarian items.

I went in this Starbucks near my school a couple of times during winter time and recently. Service doesnt disappoint and guess what... NO LINES! Just like how it should be... quick service and basically less than a minute to wait. My order is never messed up and never was. Ordered a hot chocolate and usually the cups are larger than Dunkin. A big pro i like about this. More hot chocolate the better, eh. Enjoyable. Recommend for multiple visits if on a empty stomach.

While waiting for a flight at Laguardia I decided to make the decision to enjoy a Chicken 🍗 Caesar salad 🥗 and a Mimosa 🍾with Grapefruit. Everything went well just a little red on the lettuce that could have been left out. Other than that the salad was good I would swap out the chicken next time for the shrimp 🍤 to see which is better. Service was fast. Mimosa was filled and the staff is attentive.

I ordered a lot of things from this place. Every single thing was bad - bland, unsalted, had no flavor whatsoever. I ordered the oxtail, stewed chicken, goat roti, and two patties. Every single item with a disappointment. Save your money and go elsewhere.

They never have cheese but they have the sign outage outside saying the cheese special. I have been here at least 3 times since. October 2025 I posted this review and 0 out of 3 times have they had cheese pizza available. Feb 2026 Now it’s June 2026.
