Colombian cafe. Empanadas are $4.25, 3 flavors (Chicken, Beef, Hawaiian). They are baked, not fried and they are flaky! 1 is a good snack, 2 could be a very filling snack. They are big. Suggest you call ahead if they have empanadas available. Arrived late morning on a weekday and they were none remaining in the front but they were kind enough to heat more with a 25ish minute wait. Freshii offers healthy & nutritious snacks, smoothies & fruit bowl & is located in LaGuardia Airport Terminal in a neat & clean atmosphere. The environment is great to attract healthy customers. However, the way the food is served, it should be eaten sooner than later as the base of the bowl is smoothie & fruits, nuts & cereal is added on top. Delaying eating would make the toppings float on smoothie. Overall, healthy food for people on the go that should be eaten the earlier the better.

The restaurant is located in the Dyker Heights section of Brooklyn. They prepare Japanese cuisine. I ordered the sushi bento box. It includes choice of soup or salad, three shumai, rice, and eight pieces of sushi. The sashimi bento box is the same with nine pieces of sashimi. We came for Trivia night on Tuesday and absolutely LOVED IT😍 They have amazing deal on Tuesdays - 2 snacks for $15 (I wouldn’t call it a snack, more like a full meal) and Happy Hour drinks for $8 Food was delicious (we ordered chicken tenders , curry fries, nachos and quesadillas) and drinks were great too! Stopped at the Hugh again to have a coffee and read the paper. At lunch we went to MOKBAR for Korean food. We got one bulgogi bowl and one cutlet curry bowl. Also got a side of kimchi. All very tasty over special rice. Rather small cutlet but enough for lunch. Prices are reasonable.

We stopped at this Starbucks on York at 71st after a doctor appointment at HSS around the corner. It is very spacious and still cozy. Lots of comfortable seating but we still had to wait as it was busy. Got a cappuccino and a double chocolate brownie. Both were really good. Nice big windows on the streets so very bright. A great place to hang out for a while. We will definitely go again when at the hospital.

Unfortunately, the General Tso’s chicken was overcooked and had a strange taste (besides just being burnt), and the rice that came with it was pretty dry. I had the foolish idea in my head to come to the location after 5:30 for a smoothie. I’m guessing this is not common, because I showed up at 5:50 and the door was locked. The person working there told me from behind the glass door that they start cleaning up at 5:30 and stop making smoothies. This location was completely closed at 5:50 so they could finish cleaning up and leave exactly at 6:00pm. Noted for any future visits. But I think I’ll try my luck at another location next time.

The only carvel in Queens that has a cookie monster option and it is the BEST. I am an ice cream feign. So i will drive for some ice cream and most definitely when my friends come into town I take them to this specific carvel (if they've never had carvel ice cream before) because I can ensure they will like it. Staff is super quick and very nice especially given the amount of people they sometimes have to serve. It quickly became a favorite of many of my friends and peers. The lighting is dim and the vibe is cool which is what we all want for a Lower East Side/ Chinatown bar. Also they have a great happy hour deal!

I saw a review stating that their beef and scallion is not made well however, I thought why not give the restaurant a second chance. That was the worse decision I ever made. There was 5% beef, 3% scallion, and 92% ONION?!!! I ordered BEEF AND SCALLION, not ONIONS with a dash of beef and scallion. It was extremely salty and basically inedible. Waste of time and money. 1st time ordering from there and it will be my last time ordering anything from them. I called in for delivery, order came to $43 for the Pasta Oxtail and a side of plantains. Now I tried to call and they kept hanging up my call! Which was unfair cause as you can see from the looks of the photos. The oxtials had literally all FAT and no meat of whatsoever...and I believe that is why they poured all that sauce to cover up this mess. They have a house made vanilla bean syrup that I truly love. Maybe because of the neighborhood/area it is in, it is less comfy than the other location.
