Elaborately designed, Victorian-style bistro with a long marble bar for cocktails and American bites.
I recently visited Oscar Wilde’s Alice in Wonderland-themed for a birthday brunch on 6-13-26. Now I am a huge Alice and wonderland theme lover and the experience, and the atmosphere was absolutely beautiful. The decorations, whimsical details, and immersive theme made it feel like stepping right into Wonderland. Every corner was thoughtfully designed, making it a fun and memorable experience. The food was alright—nothing particularly outstanding, but it was decent and nicely presented. The rea

Cozy, easygoing wood-and-brick eatery with hefty specialty burgers and craft beers on tap.
After reading several reviews, we decided to give this place a chance. And didn't disappoint, The burgers were delicious!!! During our visit to the city, we returned for a second time, (My wife asked to come back and eat here again—and that says a lot! 😁) as it was one of the best meals we had in NY. The "Masterpiece" burger was a omg moment, and "The Black Iron" had a very original flavor and was also delicious. The place was packed both times we visited, so we had to wait about 15 minutes. I

We got the smash burger and fries to go and ate everything at Bryant Park, which made the experience even nicer. The service was also super friendly and added to the overall positive experience. The fries were absolutely excellent - super flavorful and honestly one of the best parts of the meal. The smash burger was good, especially for the price, but it was missing a little something to make it really memorable. Overall, very tasty and a great quick meal option near Bryant Park. I visited this location during my first trip to New York, hoping to use up some loose change and have a simple order. A small tea with hot water and a tea bag. I placed my order at the kiosk, intending to pay in cash, but I wasn’t familiar with how to use the cash machine. So I went to the counter to ask for help and pay directly. I waited at the front for about 10 minutes, trying not to be a bother, as the cashier seemed busy and not very approachable. When I finally asked for assistance, I was

Trendy types gather for American eats & specialty drinks at this upbeat hangout & brunch favorite.
The Smith is one of those New York restaurants that does everything well and never gets enough credit for it. The menu is American brasserie with enough range to satisfy anyone at the table. The mac and cheese is rich and perfectly baked with a crispy top. The burger is thick juicy and served on a brioche bun that holds up. The brunch is one of the best in Midtown with a Bloody Mary bar that lets you build exactly what you want and French toast that is thick custardy and dusted with powdered sug

My mom and I pre-celebrated Mother’s Day at The Smith and had an amazing experience from start to finish! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Roll-N-Roaster is a true New York classic! If you're looking for an authentic local spot with delicious food and a fun, nostalgic atmosphere, this is the place to go. The roast beef sandwich was outstanding—tender, juicy, piled high with meat, and served on a fresh, soft roll. Adding their famous Cheez made it even better and took the sandwich to another level. This is an awesome local gem in Hell's Kitchen. Cozy and warm, with lots of wood and charm. Great atmosphere. The menu is extensive, reasonable and covers lots of tastes. We came for lunch and enjoyed great cocktails like the Bee Sting (bourbon with ginger, honey & lemon - delicious!) and Hudson Margarita (frothy and tasty!) I had a fantastic time at Gramercy Tavern. We booked a reservation relatively last minute so we had outdoor seating. I'm not a fan of sitting outside. However, the inside was beautiful. Bread service was warm focaccia. Smoked oysters were delicious. We ordered ribs (super tender) and meatballs. I'll skip the meatballs next time - it had the same texture as meatloaf (not a fan). Ended dinner service with peach cake and beignets.

Soft Bar is a fantastic spot to hang out for a bit, especially for non-drinkers. The interior design is excellent it’s a smaller space, but the layout is utilized great. The front features a coffee bar with creative drink options, while the back offers a mix of bar seating, booths, and a lounge area with couches. The hype about the Pulled Pork Benedict is justified! Wow! There's a dish that worked perfectly! I had the Avo Toast and it was just as good. We had made an early reservation for 9am, just when they opened, which was probably a good idea as the restaurant filled up quickly so there was a few people waiting by time we left. I can see why! It's a nice establishment. I've been eyeing this place for sometime, I was initially going to wait at least until I found a date or a companion, but no such luck and didn't feel like waiting so I just went for it solo. I definitely could've chose a better day because inside the place wasn't much a relief from the blazing sun. Doesn't matter for now. The restaurant was fairly large and didn't seem overly crowded.
