Randomly stumbled upon this cute donut shop. I bought a pack of 12 mini donuts for my kids and they loved them! The baker was super helpful and gave me some recommendations. I plan to go back and try some other donut combinations.

It’s my first time here... I loved walking in and smelling that delicious aroma of fresh bread. Seeing the variety they have—wow, I was impressed. And now that I’m actually eating it, I can say I’ve finally found my favorite spot for Mexican bread; we don’t need to go to Brooklyn anymore. Delicious.

Enter a very small, cramped gas station convenience store, turn left, and find an even smaller, more cramped Dunkin. Workers were very nice. But there is no room to breathe. Plus I am a bit finicky about buying freshly baked goods in a gas station. But the coffee was delicious.

This Dunkin' location (22-78 31st Street) as well as the one on Ditmars Boulevard (31-14 Ditmars Boulevard) are both managed by a lovely and hardworking woman who is a master of customer service. The employees here are hardworking and always very nice. They even politely greet you, which has become a rare event, here in Astoria. This is a business I'm happy to frequent!

I come here a couple of times a month to treat myself but everytime I come the portion is smaller and smaller. The container used to have a hard time closing and now its less a than half the container for the same price. The outer cream used to be at least half an inch thick and now it’s literally see through. Idk if someone new is making the cakes but they’re not consistent. I bought a Dominican cake for my dad’s birthday and I gave them a picture for the inspiration it was an easy design and they gave me something that looks nothing like what I ordered. And they left paper on the cake because “it would have stained the white frosting” like what? Don’t order cakes from there other than what they already have done. People said the cake tastes good so at least that was worth the money but design wise they are bad.

11/20/25 Amazing Zabihah options on the Island that are generally very hard to find. Impressed with the selection and custom availability to change things for your order. Very friendly staff and helpful staff. Clean and nice area to sit. Rye bread option for the philly cheese stake with cheddar cheese was clutch! Looking forward to try more items on the menu. I hope they incorporate more reduced sugar free and reduced sugar options along with wheat-less breads w/o gluten.

Got a bucket of cinnamon sugar pretzel bites. Service was quick but some of the monitors were broken so it was hard to see what was available on the menu. 🥨 The pretzel bites were pretty soft but a bit too doughy I feel. Maybe a lighter bread texture would be better? Still good to have but wish it was warmer!

I ordered a toxic espresso which comes with a chocolate foam. He put white foam so basically I got coffee and cream which is what I didn't order. Then he said he would scrape off the foam But the "espresso" was already milky. Here's the pic of my espresso iced espresso.

Writing this review on behalf of my sis who likes to buy from this bakery and has been a customer for years. I tried the frozen steamed pork bun for the first time and very disappointed. There was not any meat inside although I was not a fan of having lots of meat inside a bun but the pork buns from this bakery lacked of meat (tasted only the sauce). The quality of the pork bun is getting worse with no meat. My sis and I didn't try the other stuff and are afraid to be more disappointed.

Easy access on corner with plenty of parking. This bakery has a large assortment of pastries & desserts. The owner is friendly and quite welcoming. Empanadas & other snacks are available.

This is my go to spot for Cocnut buns. It’s always made fresh and sold at a reasonable price. Their ice coffee is delicious and does not taste too sugary or milky. I recommend going when the store just opens as many of the baked good are warm and still have steam coming out of them!

This is the worst place when it comes to chocolate milkshakes and drinks! It’s always thin and full of milk the shakes are very poor! I ordered the same thing at the Crossbay blvd location and it was exactly what I wanted! To the manager of the 116 location please look into the poor quality drinks your team is serving the public! I will give you one star for the time you wasted!

Hire new staff, your staff are extremely rude and extremely slow. They don’t make drinks correctly or at a reasonable pace. Why am I waiting 30 minutes for a mobile order. It’s not that it’s busy they just aren’t paying attention the way they should. If I owned this location I’d clean house and hire new staff asap. They are going to be the downfall of this location.

BEWARE ! I paid by card, and their machine "broke" , then wasted 10-15 mins saying it didn't charge my card and then paid again with cash but forgot to ask for a receipt. Absolutely satisfied with my daughter’s 1st birthday smash cakes. I showed my baby’s birthday theme which was pink and purple. I asked for a purple and pink mini heart cake one with pineapple filling and one with strawberry filing. Pineapple filling was phenomenal!! The cakes looked amazing! Nice & freshly done. A very disappointing experience. I bought a sandwich today and was shocked to find several strands of hair inside. It was absolutely disgusting and completely ruined my trust in the store’s hygiene standards. I have no intention of returning after this. I truly hope the store takes this issue seriously and addresses the basic hygiene protocols. Food safety is not a minor issue — it’s unacceptable for something like this to happen.

Summary: the worst. Cakes are not made on premises, over priced, lack of customer service and slow customer service. Stale donuts and crappy coffee. They have been a disappointment for years but continue to get worse and find new ways to disappoint customers and Canarsie. Fire the whole staff and bring in new management ASAP.

Some freshly cooked Latin food. Very tasty, well cooked. Small restaurant, but they have some high chair and a high table for the customers. Very good for a short bite.
