Ok folks this is Nostrand avenue and this little stretch of Little Haiti has not changed much. So as far as atmosphere in area it is pretty busy and not kept up like nicer areas in Brooklyn. As far as the food, the Peppas brand is know for great Jamaican food and this location does not disappoint. The service is great and very inclusive to all people. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. I have been here several times since the new year and will continue to support!

The best tasting thing I had bought was the can of soda. Food was just fuel but not enjoyable. Took one bite of the phuri and wrapped it back up (I put sour and it didnt made it any better), as a Guyanese I am ashamed. I feel like I just donated $22.50 to them.

7 curry craving satisfied. Ordered delivery was pleasantly surprised food was delicious. Food quality on Liberty has declined of late. Usually tasteless, greasy, stale just plain cooked with no love while the prices go up. This food tasted like your aunty cooked it and she sent it home with you.

So my girl ordered chicken and fried rice and it tasted amazing and guess who the next person to order was me only five minutes later and guess what mine tastes like rocks my rice taste like pebbles and rocks and they didn’t remember who I even was cause I took off my jacket. It was like Clark Kent. This neighborhood Jamaican Bakery is a take out spot for a quick grab and go. I’ve heard their chicken soup is delicious but haven’t tried it myself. Their spicy beef patties never disappoint. Always well seasoned, flaky crust and just the right amount of spice. Their meatloaf is 5 star and also sells out quick. Their Jamaican hard dough bread is baked fresh every day, hot out the oven and always sells out by early afternoon. It also comes in whole wheat which is very tasty. Their pastries are

We were served by a charming man, he was friendly and very helpful. Honestly, just thinking about the food from here is enough to make me want to go back already. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice. I had the fish sandwich while my husband ordered the pork and chicken, and every dish came out hot and freshly prepared. The passion juice and soup were also excellent and added even more flavor to the meal. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant itself was clean and comfortable

The food here tastes absolutely delicious! We ordered a few dishes, and everything was amazing. I had the duck curry along with a few other items , the duck was so tender and moist. Yes, the restaurant is definitely on the expensive side, but the food makes it completely worth it. As a Guyanese American, I can honestly say this food reminds me of home, it brings back memories of my mom’s cooking. I’ve been to this restaurant many times, and I always leave happy. I came here yesterday after seeing the restaurant’s instagram reels. I had to try it out and the food exceeded my already good expectations! I stopped by Tasty Caribbean Plus Buffet back in April last year, so I don’t remember every detail, but I do remember the plate being very filling. I loaded up on a mix of mac and cheese, fried chicken, stewed meat, shrimp, and vegetables. The mac and cheese was creamy, the chicken had a nice crispy bite, and the stewed meat was tender with good flavor. Overall it was a solid, hearty meal, but it didn’t quite hit my soul the way some Caribbean spots do. One thing to keep in mind is that you pay

This is a nice little spot on flatlands, the décor had a little upgrade since my last visit. The prices are on flat screens, the food is displayed nicely, huge coffee stations, wonderful selection of Irish sea moss, pastries and clean environment. they recently added ital stew to the menu My friend got the oxtail and said it was delicious but I also noticed the server using the same glove to collect cash as used to server customers food.

Best Golden Krust in Brooklyn! When I’m craving oxtail, I only want it from this location! I’m bratty about my food, especially authentic Caribbean food. This Golden Krust is hands down the best in the Brooklyn franchise. THE BEST FOOD EVER!!!!! They’ve renovated their space to a cleaner, warmer and more inviting ambiance; added some technological advancements in the ordering and checkout process; and lead with the best hospitality I’ve ever experienced at any Jamaican take-out spot. I’ve had consistently positive experiences at other Golden Krust locations, which is why this visit was particularly disappointing. While the gentleman assisting us was welcoming and accommodating, the overall experience at this specific location was negatively impacted by poor customer service from other staff members. The interaction surrounding something as simple as pepper sauce and basic dining utensils set the tone. Initially, we were told pepper sauce was unavailable, only for it to late

Absolutely phenomenal Mother’s Day brunch experience at Greyz Bistro! My family and I came all the way from Boston to celebrate Mother’s Day, and a friend of ours highly recommended Greyz Bistro for brunch. We made reservations ahead of time and were promptly seated as soon as we arrived, which immediately started the experience off on a great note. This is a bad review but only posting so the owners can do some form of tweaking when preparing food. Jamaican food is the best but food bought from this location 4/2026 was not up to par. My family has purchased from this location multiple times because it's right down the block and the food was always bland but April was the worst so I have to comment. Typical Caribbean pub, but the food is AMAZING!!! THEY DON'T MISS! Every time I go there, I'm never disappointed. The food is consistently amazing. And affordable. The rice is amazing, the whole fried chicken (with some sort of sauce) is amazing, the lo mein is amazing, the chicken chunks ( forgot what it's called/appetizer) with red sauce is amazing. Highly recommend, even if just to take out.

Exceptional flavorful food, with great portions, great price and great sides. The best oxtail I have had and some top notch jerk chicken with nicely spiced rice and beans and well cooked plantains. I stopped by this place on a Thursday evening around 6:30. I’m usually a bit hesitant when visiting Jamaican restaurants because the customer service can sometimes be lacking. Well, this was a great surprise. My wife who is from Jamaica was highly insulted and disgusted at the fact that they sent this. $13 for jerk chicken standard they sent jerk chicken back jerked with rice and barely any peas. I ordered delivery. This was the barbecue chicken with Rasta pasta. It cost $24.95. Upon reading the positive feedback made by previous customers, I thought that this was going to be worth purchasing and so I went with it. The barbecue chicken was decent. However, the Rasta pasta was a major disappointment. It was dry and wasn’t seasoned well. I had to add sauce over it to give it some kind of flavor. It was refreshing to go to a Caribbean restaurant with warm and friendly customer service. Shala was nice, SMILED, and made me feel comfortable about spending my money. The oxtail was a great size portion, and they weren’t cheap with the gravy! The steamed vegetables had kale, which was an added bonus. It felt like I was eating home cooked food. I visited this restaurant in person last year after hearing great recommendations. The service was quick, but the customer service was disappointing—unprofessional and borderline disrespectful. So my mother told me they had a duck curry special. The way it was worded made it seem like you were getting two meals. They had written on Uber Eats "curry duck meals for two." I guess I misunderstood. The guy was helpful in getting the order. They didn't have a lot remaining, so he made it available on Uber Eats so I could order.
