This restaurant is be very unassuming an on the less busy part of 18th Ave. they specialize in beef offal so we got the beef offal with lai fun noodles and another with beef balls added. Also got a few of the skewers (beef intestine, beef brisket and beef spleen). Noodles portions are huge for the price at $10 and $15 to add 3 beef meatballs. The beef offal was good and they give you a good portion with nice variety. The beef meatball was OK but a bit pricy at almost $2 for one. The soup is flav

Have gotten delivery because it is super fast, inexpensive, and decent. Some dishes are great--I really like the Szechuan bean curd (pictured below), the pan-fried dumplings, and the eggplant in garlic sauce. The egg foo young and broccoli in garlic sauce are fine; both the sesame tofu and the sesame chicken are a soggy mess. I've gotten the Kung Pao Chicken twice. The first time it was super fresh tasting and great; the second time it tasted like rancid oil. Still, because of the price and the

Been ordering here since 2012. Order of Chicken Wing w French fries used to come with 4 wings. Now? 3! And they cut it up to make it seem like you’re getting more. Beef and broccoli extremely overcooked and dry; plus an excessive amount of white rice (bad ratio). Other than that, service good. Never come back again though due to increase in price, and decrease in quality.

Overall, it was pretty good. They have a tablet you can use to order, which is super convenient. The menu is available in multiple languages as well, although the translations may be innaccurate. The menu had quite a nice variety of items. Unfortunately, many of the menu images look nothing like the food themselves, which can feel disappointing and misleading. The chicken katsu curry came with an egg that was not pictured, which I did not want, and the dish looked quite different from the photo.

Food is consistently good, but now even better. Wondering if they got a new chef? Finally, a place that serves Chinese food that is not too oily, not too drowned in sauce. And, they have better rice quality - so important. They are very friendly and delivery is relatively quick. If you're looking for Chinese-American food, Tasty House is a good choice.

The Lo Mai Gai (糯米雞) “sticky rice” 10/10! Aromatic, slightly sweet, savory and the aroma alone, $4. You can’t beat that I went back to get a 2nd one. Freshly baked sweets I recommend. The steamed pork bun unfortunately wasn’t my favorite, the dough was too sweet and the meat on the inside was even sweeter. But nonetheless great menu item. Cash only business, I believe family owned. Been here a few times and my experience is always pleasant. Home cooked meals for cheap and the customer service is

I don’t usually make review for a Chinese takeout spot, but this place right here is absolutely great. I tried it once and I have been eating there whenever I’m in the area now. The food is fresh and delicious with a lot of flavor, great portion too. I would highly suggest this place for sure!!

Delicious food, pristine environment, attentive service - this place deserves all the stars! My husband and I drove to Brooklyn for my son's concert, but it was canceled because of rain. My son suggested that we meet up at this eatery, as he'd been here before and knew it was authentic and good. Oh boy was he right! What a nice way to ease off the disappointment and the fatigue from sitting in traffic, and to celebrate mother's day! The friendly waitress suggested that I should have their vegan

Check your food before you leave. I went to location and ordered and waited for BBQ spare ribs. When I got home I found over half the ribs burnt to a crisp. No napkins, no utensils. My favorite place to go for food and bubble tea. Very affordable 8 dollars for a large bubble tea that is a bucket. The sushi is very good with an 18 dollar combo of 3 rolls and medium drink. They have the best boba bubbles in flushing. You will not be disappointed. I have included pictures of the medium and large drinks, along with the sushi .

I was working in the area and decided to order lunch from here and I must say it was the most nastiest Chinese food I ever had. I ordered beef broccoli with white rice and it had no taste whatsoever, the beef had this weird texture and taste I was two minded to eat it or not however I did had like 2 spoons full right before spotting a hair in the rice. I almost throw up 🤮 I ended up trowing the food out. Do Not Order From Here!!!!

Me and my wife just got to Brooklyn for a short time and this Chinese food place is amazing. I personally always get the bonus spare ribs with either shrimp fried rice or pork fried rice my wife for the first time from this place got beef fried rice with half a chicken and when I tell you that half a chicken, it was so crispy top-tier must try.

My first time I decided to try 5 fried ‘shrimp rolls’, not knowing that each roll is kinda big, so if you are hungry and also looking for a snack or appetizer with a balance of vegetables and meat, for sure this is roll. The shrimps and the cabbage are tender and tasty. The roll was perfectly fried and not at all soaked in oil like in other places. I recommend this roll for sure. My second time (the next day), being a person that likes vegetable stir fry, I wanted to risk more so I picked from

STOP! It’s really not that bad, this place does not underpromise as some other reviews stated. The food was delicious and my wings were fried crispy and juicy to perfection. The lady in the front was really friendly and even with her limited English i felt her warmth from her voice and service. The beef and broccoli was nice. I had a pretty disappointing experience here. I ordered a combo that was listed as $18, but I was charged $20. When I asked about it, they said it was because of tax, which didn’t really make sense to me. The combo was supposed to come with dumplings and noodles, but they gave me wontons instead — which I did not order. I took it without realizing at first, but when I brought it up, the staff actually asked me to return the wontons so they could swap it for noodles. That was shocking. Even tho

Picked up the food at an unassuming take-out location (there is no eating area here), and the food did not disappoint. Bought dinner the next day, and again, the mei fun, garden vegetables, and chicken w/ broccoli were cooked fresh and weren't oily at all. Great flavor, great customer service. Highly recommend.

Literally ever since the pandemic, they’ve been skimming down food, they’re not reliable for the orders. Honestly, you’re better off ordering Uber eats or trying to get food on your way home. These are not the people to get food from. If you don’t believe me, wait till you order within the next six months and you see that they’re not giving you full proportion of food. Their price is already written in the menu and they use the pandemic as an excuse why they can’t give you enough food. These a

My order was taken out and there were 3 orders placed. My order was chicken wings and pork fried rice. Immediately upon opening, I noticed my chicken look really weird and I separated them from my rice (as I normally do). As I'm separating them, I observe it more closely and felt compelled to smell it because they looked really weird. One of my bro's started complaining about how his chicken looked and had a strange smell to it. My other bro started saying that he didn't like the way his chic

I’ve never had a problem with them, if you’re a nice person and not stuck up they treat you like family after they get to know you. Been getting this since i was a kid, my entire family loves this spot, even the ones that moved out of town say they really haven’t found anything else like it. The negative comments have me confused. This is a fast food place not a spiritual retreat. A big shoutout to Islander Taste Chinese—we’re really grateful to have such a consistently great Chinese spot so close to home. From the moment you place your order to when your food arrives, the team is always friendly and welcoming. The food is fresh, hot, and reliably delicious every single time. I’m usually not even an egg roll person, but theirs are genuinely excellent. Some of our go-to favorites are the sesame chicken, boneless rib tips, Chow Fun, and Lo Mein—everything is packed with

We were looking for a change in Chinese food and tried this one. Their food quality seems a little bit better than the other restaurants in the neighborhood. Hence the price is also a bit more. Their service is generally good (takeout). They have a small space inside to eat or to wait for the food. Overall it's okay & we might be ordering food from them.

This place is tucked under a Mala Place and specializes in dumplings and noodles. They offer very affordable combos that combine two small entrees, like noodles and dumplings, meat and rice, so on and so forth. The food is good, with noodles having surprising resilience even against the sauce and heat. Service is just when you order, and you throw the trash out yourself.
